The blaze of the sun rose above the lands in which now is ruled peacefully, kindly and lovingly by two lions who loves one another, Queen Rani and King Kion rule over the Tree Of Life, since Queen Janna have passed away three months ago, Kion was there for Rani, pushing her and giving her the strength and courage she needed to fulfil her role in the circle of life, like wise Rani loved Kion and couldn't ask for a better leader to stand with her. Rani woke up inside the tree, lying down on the rock Queen Janna laid once. Rani looked around, next to her was the fierce lion she loved, she examined him his red mane making him look so fierce, to add to this was his scar, his bulk build and perfect body shape, the colour of his fur, she felt it, soft and warm, a nice cream yellow spread out over his body as she looked at his tail, it was in a curl, the bone getting thinner until it reached the end, the tail hair contrasted with his mane. Rani smiled and was happy she made the right move. She zoned out at first but soon was brought back into reality with Kion moving, he was lying in a ball shape position, he was now unraveling his body and laid next to Rani, his warm body touched Rani's silk brown fur. Rani kissed Kion's forehead, she tasted a bit of the blue paint Makini put on that signals the king. Kion grunted as Rani kept kissing his head. Soon the sleepy lion woke up and looked at his partner. They met eyes as they both shared a long glance, looking into each others eyes, a small story was told. A story about happiness and adventure, they broke as Makini walked in and told them to get up. They stretched and walked outside into the autumn weather, it was a month and a half since summer was around and now the leaves where dropping off as new ones came to life, the autumn fruit grew and the animals got ready for winter. Taking the step outside of the tree, the warm air touched their face as a nice cool breeze floated across the morning air. The sun was about five thousand miles above the horizon, giving the lands enough light to wake everyone up. Birds chirped away as they flew around looking for food. " How is my King and Queen today", Makini said as she walked back with the Day Pride,
" were doing great, you sleep well?", Rani turned and faced Kion who replied with a yawn and a nod," still getting used to the rock I'm guessing?" Rani smiled and assured Kion that they can place some new things to make it better and comfortable. Kion smiled and said it was a good idea. " Good morning Day Pride", Rani said as they walked up still tired. " good morning Rani, Kion", " Good morning guys, we'll wait till the Night Pride arrives then we'll head off", they were ready, waiting for the Night Pride to take their long earned rest. It was a good ten minutes before they arrived, being a little late," sorry were late, we patrolled the north and things got hectic, first we had trouble with some new comers who were lost. Next we had to warn some animals we thought was a threat. They backed off and I hope they don't return", Surak gave the run down as Rani listened and took in the important notes into mind. Nirmala was tired and sore from all the running, Kion saw this and told them to bugger off and get some rest, they headed off as Rani wished them luck and to stay safe. The Day Pride walked off towards the west side as Kion talked to Rani. " what's the plans for you?", Kion asked as he hugs her, " need to visit Queen Bora and King Kikau today", Kion asked when was the next royal meeting, " next week actually, It'll be fine, even though it's your first time, I've told them about you and that can"t wait to meet you", "so you told them about me hay? What do they think?",
"you'll see", Kion smirked as Rani smiled, " better get going then", Kion explained, They hugged each other as they headed off in separate directions. Kion met back up with the Day Pride as they patrolled the west. Rani ordered for Makini to accompany her as they head off to the Yoruba Pride in the North West of the South African country.

The Pride Lands were quiet for an afternoon. Less ruckus, less worries of a war or threats towards Simba's Pride. Simba looked over his lands as he examined it all. He wanted to talk to his father, too see how Kion is doing, "yes my son, I am here, how are you",
"Hay Dad, I'm doing great, our lands are safe and Kion is well at his home",
"That's great to hear, You miss him don't you",
" well, yeah, having my son around isn't going to be easy for a few weeks but I know, we know, that Kion is where he belongs"
" yes, Kion is still with you, loves you and remember he can always return. He is a strong lion, he is very brave and smart, I'm sure he is doing great"
"Keep an eye out for your grandson will you please"
"Of course, I look out for all of you, everyone one, take care, of everyone, tell the girls and Kovu I said hello",
" will do, love you", Mufasa rolled away with the clouds as Simba looked down at his lands again. He wonders what Kion is up to. He sits on the edge of Pride Rock for what seems a long time, he heard roars in the distance, he keeps thinking if it was Kion but was soon disappointed by the fact is it was just Vitani practising with Askari. He reflects of the roar and remembers all the times he used it, he smiled at the one time he lifted Pride Rock, memories. Then a dark memory came back to him. The resurrection of Scar, after defeating him 30 years ago the shock and awe he saw that brought the Pride Lands together. He shock off the thought and stood up and headed Inside.

Rani walked and talked with Makini about the plans they have for the Tree and the Valley. So much they want to do. Makini offered assistance when renovating the tree. Rani didn't mind and let Makini help out. They reached the Yoruba Pride, they looked for King Kikau and Queen Bora, they found them with their pride members, " hay Queen Rani, how good is it to see you, what brings you here", Kikau was overjoyed, this lion had quite a personality, he was strong and open minded. He was a good leader and loved his pride. He was only forty eight years old and had a bubbly personality. His wife Bora was two years  younger, kind, gentle and always putting others needs before hers. They loved each other since the day Bora went on a family vacation to the Filumo Pride back when they were cubs, another pride in alliance with The Tree Of Life and The Pride Lands along with many small resistances and prides. Rani came on a business trip to talk about the meeting next week. Kikau being leader of the PPO, Pride protection Organization, his job was to gather all the leaders of any guards and royals to a special place to talk about danger, upgrades and to talk about others ideas, opinions and offers and support given to one pride to another. Rani wanted to know how Kion would fit into place, sure she could send Makini or Ullu to send the message but Rani wanted to also talk something more private. Threats, Something they dared not to say or think about but she feared Mama Binturong will soon bring an army big enough to attack. Kikau wondered why she thought about it," because, since we scared them off we've been getting animals seeking around at night, the night patrol had to deal with a few animals and sometimes they can smell lurking animals, Bora assured Rani that they could be hunting or doing their business but Rani named the animals, Kikau gave her his full support as he said he'll be more than happy to back them up in whatever and when ever danger appears. Still being young and vulnerable King Kikau understands her fears. They had lunch together as they began to talk about how great Kion is.

In the east Kion and the Day Pride took the break. Stopping at a small watering hole they drank the cool water and had a little snack. Nothing that was immediate. Small problems, new comers in and out. They were on a watch out for any spies lurking or anything out of the ordinary. Kion wasn't worried but was still on guard. Having the mark of the tree means he had the duty of protecting these lands, he was also king. No worries, Hakuna Matata he would always say. Something that got stuck into his mind since uncle Timon told him about it. He also knew Sisi Mi Sawa, we're the same. A good friend of his reminding him of that. He wonders about Jaseri, how is she. He hopes she is doing great. He knew she was strong and had Vitani there to help. Kion finished his daydream as he guides his pack to the south end. Having a good day they began to sing.

They finished up as they headed back to the tree. Rani and the Night Pride were waiting. Dinner was waiting, they dinned in the evening, a cool front dropped in as the night was going to be cold. Kion briefed the Night Pride about what they did, encountered and what to look forward to. No sign of spies or any suspicious activity. They finished their delicious meat, fruit and veg as the Night Pride headed off to patrol. Fuli went back home to Azaad as did too Bunga. Besthe, Ono and Anga made their way back to their base as Rani and Kion planned out their lay out design of the tree. They talked about the many adventures they'll have living here, journeys, love and friendship. They addressed these and looked forward spending the rest of their life's together. Tree Of Life was their HOME.
