Chapter Twenty-Three, Epilogue

Eleven years had passed since Sirius married the love of his life, Josephine Alyssa Black née Potter. Eleven amazing and wonderful years. During this time his brother and sister in-law, James and Pandora had a son called Harry James Potter, born 31st July 1979. Harry had just turned eleven and would soon be going to Hogwarts for his First Year, and he looked like James's carbon copy apart from Pandora's silver-blue eyes. James and Pandora also had a beautiful daughter they named, Luna Pandora Potter, she was just under a year younger than Harry, born on 13th April 1980 and she adored Harry and he adores her. He was very overprotective of his baby sister and his baby cousins.

And that brings Sirius to his news. He and Josie had twins: Alex, his oldest who looked exactly like him, whereas his twin, Charlie looked exactly like her mother. They were younger than both their cousins as they were born a month premature on June 2nd 1980. Their premature start didn't affect them too much, and soon they were coming on in leaps and bounds. Which not only was Sirius and Josie glad about but also so was the rest of their rather large family.

They weren't the only ones to have kids within the Marauders, Remus and Marlene did as well. They had a son, Harry's age just born a few months before him, on March 5th 1979. They named him Teddy Remus Lupin and he looked the spitting image of Remus, thankfully he didn't get the werewolf gene but he was a little grouchy and liked his meat on the rare side towards the Full Moon. The same went for his little sister, Melissa Louisa Lupin. Who was a perfect mix of both her parents with Marlene's blonde hair and Remus's amber eyes.

Sirius knew that their kids would be the next generation of Marauders. Harry, Alex, Melissa, Teddy and even Regulus's son: Archer, loved pranking. Whereas, Luna and Charlie always wanted to know what creatures their mothers found on their expeditions as Magizologist, they even accompanied Josie and Pandora a few times which just fed their fire and love for Magical Creatures and they wanted to be like their mothers. That's not to say they didn't enjoy pranking like their brothers and cousins, because they did but they loved Magical Creatures more.
Both Sirius and Josie knew that as September 1st drew near there would be a big drama on the Platform as it would be the first time they would all be apart from each other. James and Josie only wished their parents could see their grandchildren off, but they had lived until the kids were five and six years old and got some good memories with them. So that's all they could really ask for.

The morning of September 1st had arrived, bringing many tears along with it. They were almost late to the Platform due to Alex, Charlie and Luna crying and refusing to get ready as they didn't want Harry to leave. After Pandora and Josie said they could stay here with James and Sirius while they saw Harry off alone, it kicked their butts into gear and got them to get ready. They finally arrived at the platform with ten minutes to spare, luckily spotting Remus, Marlene, Teddy and Melissa, and Regulus, Suzanne, Archer and his little sister Callista rather quickly. While all the siblings were saying goodbye to each other, the four fathers were putting all the trunks and animals into an empty compartment for them, while the four mothers took solace in each other. Although Josie's babies weren't leaving her yet she was still sad her sweet nephew was leaving and gently placed a hand over her bump.

"I promise I'll write every week. Got to give Hedwig time to rest. And I'll come home and see you all for Christmas." Harry promised his little sister and his cousins. Teddy was saying the same to Melissa; and Archer was saying the same to his sister Callista.
"You promise?" Luna, Charlie and Alex asked, upset.
"I promise." Harry promised, pulling the trio into a group hug. "Auntie Josie, you and Mum will tell me all about the creatures, right? And what my new cousin is?" Harry asked hopefully.
"Of course I will sweetie. I love you." She said, pulling her nephew into a hug. She was beyond happy that he didn't have the life she saw in a vision so many years ago.
"I love you too." Harry said, hugging her tightly.

"Harry." James called, kneeling besides his twin and his son. "I want you to know that none of us care what House you get into. All we care about is that you're happy, you're safe and you try your hardest but mainly making sure you're doing the best you can." James said firmly but gently, smiling at his mini-me. They'd all agreed they'd give Harry the Cloak, Remus the Map, Alex, Josie's journals and Archer, Regulus's journals once they hit Third Year respectively. They wanted them to settle in and try their hardest, but mainly so they'd matured a bit first.
"I promise Dad. You and Uncle Sirius will look after Aunt Josie and Mum, right?" Harry asked, concerned. He was such a sweet boy and always worried for his mother and Aunt especially as they dealt with potentially dangerous creatures.

Plus, his Aunt got visions at odd times and fell down the stairs once and had to go to St Mungo's to fix her leg, and now she was pregnant.
"Of course I will, mini-me." James said seriously. "Your Aunt is my other half and your mother is my world. I'd never let anything happen to them." Harry nodded satisfied and hugged his father, his mother and then the rest of his Aunts and Uncles, just as the whistle sounded.
"You better get on the train." Regulus told his son, and his nephews by choice; Harry and Teddy. Quickly the three boys jumped on to the train and waved through the window of their compartment as the younger children ran alongside the train waving to their family as the train started to pull out of the station.

"You okay my love?" Sirius asked, his arms around Josie's waist rubbing her bump gently where the baby was kicking, as they watched the kids try to keep up with the train.
"I'm perfect, babe." Josie replied, tilting her head back and smiling happily at Sirius.
"Good." Sirius said happily, kissing her quickly but despite the chasteness of the kiss it was filled with so much love it left Josie with a soft pink blush across her cheeks.
"You okay?" Josie asked concerned, righting her head so she could watch their children, but still pay attention to her loving husband.
"I'm perfect, my love." Sirius repeated her words.

But it was the truth.
His life was indeed perfect, he had everything he could possibly need; his loving wife, his two loving children and now a third one on the way, his brother and his cousins (minus Bellatrix) were closer to him than ever before which was all thanks to his beloved wife, Josie. And he had the most caring friends he could ever ask for. There was nothing he could possibly want except the health of his wife, his twins and unborn child. Life was great.

The End!!!
