After Five Years

"Ace no go out, you can't meet her, now!", Siara shouted at Ace while I sat in the corner of the room, so Ace can't see me and my hair stylist is doing my hair as it got spoiled in the last minute by Anthony, one of the twins who are two years old.

"Siara, move aside and let me in! What are you doing?! And why is she taking a lot of time?! She should be ready half-an-hour before. Let me in! Now!", Ace screamed.

"No, you can't! Now go! It's not a good sign for groom to see the bride before the marriage!", she said while blocking from entering the door. I stood up from my place and adjusted my white gown that Ace himself selected for me.

"Ace, go and wait. I will be coming soon", I said from this side of the door.

"Love, tell Siara to move out of my way or I will myself lift and put her out of my way. I want to see you. I want to know everything is all right", he said while pushing the door to open which Siara is pushing back.

"God! This man is like a bull dozer! He weighs so much!", Siara said pushing the door to close with the help of her whole body.

"Ace go! I will come in five minutes!", I said and he stopped pushing the door.

"Okay, I will be waiting near the alter for two minutes, if you don't come, I will throw you over my shoulder and take you there. Got it!", he said and before I can reply, I hear his foot steps walking away.

"Phew! Cara are you ready? I can't push him again this time", Siara said. I laughed at her.

"Yeah almost there", I said and took a last look at myself in the mirror.

I can't believe, it's finally my day, our day. My wedding with Ace and our little Alexander is the best man. He is now four years old. Time flew by so fast. I can feel tears at the end of my eyes.

I am so nervous. Although we only invited Siara, Mark who is now Siara's boyfriend, they instantly clicked when they met and now my brother Zack. He even threatened Ace like a real brother that if Ace made me cry, he will kick him in the balls. He is like the brother I always wanted to have.

"Mommy! Mommy!", Alexander came running to me and panting. He is four years old and elder than all. He looks so cute in his black suit and pants with a black bow near his neck. Just as I bend down to lift him in my arms, Siara stopped me.

"No. Now we don't want the dress to be ruined or even the make up", she said. I looked back at Alex.

"Alex, baby, what happened?", I bend down to his level while caressing his face.

"Daddy said to tell you that you have only one minute left ow he will come hewe and thow you ovew his shouldew", he said in his cute baby voice and ran back fast.

"God! That man is obsessive! Now move or he will do what he said", Siara said and I laughed.

"Okay", I said and we walked out of the room.

I stood at he end of the aisle and I feel nervous. My palms are sweating. Siara is my braids maid. She is looking pretty in her white dress. My dress is sleeve less and starts from my chest.

Zack will be walking me down the aisle.

"Ready Cara?", he asked while smiling lightly at me. I looked at him and nodded back.

I looked up to see Ace standing proudly in black suit and pants with white shirt inside and a black bow. I looked beside him and saw Alex just like him. Beside Alex stood twins in the same dressing style.

I smiled and Ace have a huge grin on his face. Priest is standing behind them with a bible in his hand, his glasses are down on his nose and he has a smile on his face too.

Zack slowly walked me down the aisle of benches. I have my right hand in Zack's and I have flowers in my left hand. I saw a girl standing as I came. I don't know who she is, but she is so beautiful. She smiled at me and I gave her a confused look. She looked back at Zack. Maybe she came with Zack.

Now I am near the alter, down the aisle and Ace eagerly took my hand from Zack's and kissed my knuckles. I smiled. God! I can't stop smiling! Ace was about to say something, but Alex cut him.

"Wommy! You awe looking so beautiful".

"Thank you baby".

"My son took my lines", Ace said and kissed my hand again. We both turned around to face priest.

"Well son let us take the oaths. Ace you may start", priest said.

"No, ladies first!", Ace said.

"What?!", I asked him shocked.

"I said ladies first!", Ace said again. I rubbed my hands together. I prepared a lot to say, but when the moment came I can't even remember anything. I turned to Ace and looked into his eyes. All I can see is pure love.

"Ace... I don't know where to start, but from the time you came, my life changed. For better. You were there for me, in my every happiness, sad moments. You solved all of my problems. You are my solution.

Before you came I am a broken glass which you fixed with your love and patience. If I have to die a thousand deaths for you I will do it without a problem.

You are my love, my life, my heart and it's every beat. I promise to be there for you in every moment of your life. In life and death, in sickness and in health, in rich and poor. In everything, in every breathe. I love you... I love you so much and I happily accept to be your wife and will be proud to be the mother of your children".

By the end I am having tears in my eyes.

We were just staring at each other.

"Now it's your turn son", priest said. Ace seemed to be in a stance. He came out of it blinking.

"I don't know what to say... I... I... I love you Cara, so much, that I don't know what will happen, if I won't tell you everyday that I love you. This small heart can't bear the love that I hold for you. I accept to be your husband and go through all the up and downs of my life and be the dad to our children".

He said holding my hands in his. Tears pricked my eyes as he said. I know Ace is not into speeches, but I am happy he at least said this. He is always into he point.

The priest gave us rings and we put them on each others fingers. Though Alex, Anthony and William didn't understand what's happening they clapped.

The people around clapped.

"Now the groom may kiss the bride", priest said and Ace didn't waste a second to do it.

His lips quickly captured mine in a passionate kiss. My tongue moulded into his and he deepened the kiss. This kiss is sweet with love, not any urgency or desire. It showed his love for me.

We both broke apart and the his and is around my waist. He kissed my cheek and whispered in my ear.

"I love you".

"I love you too", I whispered back.

-Later That Night-

After the wedding is over Ace didn't stop a minute, he carried me to the car bridal style after the kids got in the car and carried me inside the house.

Although he let me throw the flowers back which Siara caught. She grinned. Mark kissed her.

Kids slept in their room and Ace and me cuddled in our bed.

Now there a small party at 8'o clock in our house for celebrating our marriage. It's only business officials and some of Ace's friends. Siara came at 7'O clock to help me get dressed up.

One by one everyone started to come and soon it's 9'o clock.

Zack brought the girl with him that I saw today morning in the church. There must be something. He usually changes girls everyday.

Ace called Zack over to us and Ace had a possessive hand around my waist pressing me tightly to him.

"Hey Ace!", Zack said with a faint smile.

"Hi Zack an-", before I can say anything, the girl beside Zack cut me off.

"Oh wow you both are so beautiful. So cute together", she said excitedly. Zack had a hand around her waist too.

"Sweetheart, why don't you go talk to Cara while I chat here with my friend", he said smiling at her and kissed her cheek.

I am shocked! Even Ace looked surprised! What's happening?!

"Sweetheart?!", Siara asked with her mouth still hanging open. I am sure mine is mirroring the same.

Sweetheart! Did Zack call her sweetheart?! There must be something! He even kissed her on her cheek!

Me, Siara and her went aside while giving the men privacy.

"So, what's your name?", I asked trying to start the conversation while Siara sat beside me curious.

"My name is Amelia", she said innocently.

After talking sometime with her I understood she is really a sweetheart. But very pure and innocent, just like her baby blue eyes. Her hair is dark brown falling down to her waist and she is really beautiful.

What I don't get is, she and Zack are total polar opposites and how did she caught the eye of Zack. What is she to him?

Siara, Amelia and I continued with our conversation.

Ace Rodriguez's POV

I saw the love of my life and this girl that Zack brought with him.

"Sweetheart, really?", I asked him. His face is void. I can't see any expression on it.

"I don't want to talk about it", he said as he took a glass of wine from the waiter that is passing.

"Oh! But I want to talk about it".

"Drop the topic", he warned.

"Who is she?". He huffed.

"She works for me", he said as he took a sip of wine.

"Works for you? Exactly what is she working for you? I mean what is her position?". He cleared his throat.

"Many purposes".

"Means?".

"My PA, happy?".

"Oh! Okay. So from when do you start calling your PA as sweetheart?".

"I will call my PA what ever I want!'".

"So what's her name?".

"Amelia".

I know there is something. He won't bring his PA to parties! Bullshit! He never calls anyone sweetheart! There must be something more.

It's middle of the party. Zack won't leave Amelia alone for five minutes, just like I can't leave Cara. Siara is dancing with Mark. I and Cara danced for a while.

"Ace, I will go check on kids, they didn't eat. They kept running here and there", she said and was about to leave, when Zack came to us.

"Cara did you see Ellie?".

"Ellie?", she asked confused.

"Amelia?", he corrected himself.

"No", Cara said. I looked behind him and saw the answer.

"She is right there Zack", I said and he turned around.

Amelia is dancing with one our business partners Nick. She is laughing for something he said and threw her head back. He twirled her round while dancing.

Zack's eyes blazed with fury. I didn't expect him to do what he did next. He went over there pacing fast and seperated them. He kissed her possessively in front of everyone. She looked shocked as he pulled away. He threw her on his shoulder and spanked her bottom while walking out.

I laughed out loud and the whole hall stood with shocked faces. Even Cara has the same look. I kissed her cheek.

"That was what I was talking about today morning if you didn't come out of the room. Looks like devil got his girl", I said while turning around and walking out of the hall to kitchen with Cara.

"Yeah and I am happy for Zack. She is so good and pure. Totally opposite to Zack", she said placing food on plates for our kids.

I held her from back and put my head in her neck to smell her while pushing her hair aside. I kissed her and she moaned when I nibbled on her neck.

"Ace", she moaned.

"Yes love".

"Not now idiot", she said while putting the plates in tray.

"I know you don't love me anymore. You only love Alexander, Anthony and William", I said like our kids pouting.

"Oh my poor baby. I love you all equally. Now come on let's feed food to our babies", she said as she took the tray and walked out. "Send the guests soon, so we can make use of our wedding night. Oh and I will be waiting for you in out bed, red and hot", she said walking out.

I grinned. Red and hot. I knew she will be wearing the red lingerine I brought her. I can't wait to tear it.
