[RECAP]:
As soon as I said those words the plane shook heavily, throwing me into Mr. Collins lap.
"Well this is a compromising position." he stated, I looked up at him meanincingly. and that's the last thing I saw until everything turned black.
And then I screamed.
*
Everything was black, I quickly scrambled, trying to get up even though I couldn't see and my eyes have not adjusted to the darkness yet.
A hand quickly covered my mouth, covering my screams, I started to struggle until I heard, "Stop moving," a firm voice hiss in my ear. I didn't listen to him and continued struggling against him until he grabbed my waist, and pinched slightly into it.
"Stop." he almost groaned as if in pain. Then I felt something dig into me sharply at my side, and I made a shove at it attempting to distract him elsewhere.
It was probably his wallet because then he hissed, "Fucking stop! Jesus Christ." Then he stood up abruptly throwing me off his body.
I heard some rummaging before he pulled out his phone and turned on his flashlight.
"I should have thought of that." I whispered to myself.
The light suddenly appeared in my line of vision before I saw a hand reach to grab me. I reached out to grab his hand then stepped a safe distance away from him.
"Yeesh, your wallet couldn't get any shaper. What is it made out of? Metal?" I asked clutching my side.
He ground his teeth tightly before walking away and heading towards the front of the plane.
"Hey! Don't leave me here alone!" I said quickly rushing after him.
We passed through the cockpit and immediately a flight attendant came rushing to us, hands outreached to get us out.
"Please return to your seats, the matter is being attended to." She said, and then winced when the flashlight directly hit her face.
"You better hurry." Mr.Collins said angrily to her.
I frowned at him, and pushed the flashlight out of her face, "Thank you!" I said, and turned to push Mr.Collins towards his seat.
He was purposely dragging his body weight as I pushed him out, his strides short, and he kept grumbling about something I couldn't hear.
"Sit down." I said pointing to the seat he sat in before.
He raised an eyebrow, but didn't say anything and sat down. Satisfied, I headed to return back to seat when a hand stopped me, "If you want me to reconsider you not getting fired, I suggest you sit down....right here" He patted the spot next to him.
I let out a loud groan, stomping my way over and stretching my legs over him. I could have swore I saw his leg come up before I fell almost, almost face first to the floor.
Luckily, Mr.Collins reached out to grab me before I did hit the floor. I scrambled out of his grasp and embarrassingly crawled over to the window seat.
A choking laugh sounded, and I turned to find Mr.Collins doubling over in laughter. Holding his stomach, and I mean full belly laugh laughter.
I looked at him angrily but of course he couldn't really see me so I tried to climb over the chair, into the seat behind me, or at least out of the presence of Mr.Collins.
I raised my foot and hiked it over the chair and slowly leaned forward, dragging my other foot behind me, I raised my other leg preparing to safely land, when a hand grabbed my waist.
Oh Christ not again.
"What do you think you are doing." Mr.Collins growled.
Frozen in shock I turned meeting his eyes, he continued staring at me, the grip on my waist getting tighter. I didn't respond to his question, because seriously, what does it look like I'm doing? So instead I settled for "You're hurting me." as weakly as my voice could muster, even though he really wasn't but I don't do eye contact, like at all.
He immediately let go and waited until I sat down before he sat right next to me, again.
I cleared my throat, then crossed my legs over my other leg so our knees won't brush. Then there was a loud crackling sound over the intercom and the light suddenly came on. Mr.Collins immediately stood up and walked to the cockpit.
Before he left he told me, "If you even as much move from that seat, you're really getting fired."
I rolled my eyes when he turned away. Picking at my hands and bouncing my leg nervously.
I just want to go home!
Sighing I leaned against the window, looking at the amazing sight below. A loud cough brought me out of my thoughts, I turned to see Mr.Collins with my phone in hand and my purse.
"Here."
I took my items from him, muttering a quiet 'thank you', clutching my phone protectively and placing my purse in the seat in front of me.
I looked out of the window again, before I felt Mr.Collins sit down next to me. There was some shuffling and finally some click click sounds.
I ignored it at first but then the noise became incessant, I turned to find Mr.Collins typing away on his laptop.
When did he get that?
I turned in his direction and saw him setting up a bluetooth and camera.
He turned to me and said, "Take notes."
He passed me some bluetooth earphones and some paper and I hooked the bluetooth into my ear.
He angled the computer so I could see what he was doing but at the same time the camera was not aimed towards me. Meanwhile, I grabbed my purse from the seat in front of me and rummaged through my purse, searching for a pen. Luckily I found one and placed the purse back into the seat, then leaned back into my seat. Suddenly a loud voice boomed in my ear, "Hello Mr.Collins, welcome to the annual 2018 conference of CEO's."
I quickly turned the volume down as Mr. Collins replied, "Thank you."
"Please refer to the image to your right, or left to see the briefing of the meeting, we will rejoin back in five minutes." The man said once again.
"Ok, thank you." Mr.Collins replied.
Once he clicked out of the meeting and shoved the computer towards me, "Write." was all he said.
I immediately copied all the information of the briefing, making sure to get all the details before a blaring number flashed on the screen, '1 MINUTE' it said, I finished writing quickly and shoved the computer back into Mr.Collins hand.
He glared at me, then resumed the computer's position before.
The time slowly ticked down, and Mr.Collins quickly went over some things with me before finally starting, "Whatever you do don't talk, unless I permit you too."
I nodded and took a deep breath before the number flashed again and again and again.
