In choir, the girls all sat together, due to their similar voice and height. But today, a new girl sat there, next to Jordan. "Class." Mrs. Chance's booming voice said. "We have a new student." She gestured to the new girl, who jumped from her seat and came up to the conductor's stand. "This is Mikenna Barbosa. I'm going to let her tell a bit about herself."

     "Hi. I'm Mikenna. I just moved her from New York City. I take Tae-kwon-do, and I have a dog named Buddy." She said with a haunting voice.

     "Since you don't have your music yet, you can grab one of the spares. Greensleeves, from the beginning, please. Could one of you help Mikenna please?" She said to the group of girls around her. The class started singing, and Mrs. Zorn, the pianist started playing a tune.

"Alas, my love, you do me wrong

to cast me off discourteously

greensleeves was my heart of gold

and who but my lady greensleeves."

     "Very good class! Mikenna, did you find help?" Mrs. Chance asked.

     "Yeah, I helped." said Audrey

     "Alright. So the concert is in 2 weeks today. Mrs. Zorn, can you go into the ensemble room and help Mikenna with her notes?"Mrs. Zorn nodded. "Alright. From the top everyone." They practiced Greensleeves for the next twenty minutes until the bell rang. "Thanks everyone! Grab a pink piece of paper on your way out! It has everything you need to know for the concert." Mrs. Chance called out. 

     "Hey! Guys! Wait up!" Mikenna called to the sisters. No one else turned their head, stopped, or even flinched. It's like no one else could even hear her. "Guys!" She called again.

     "Yeeees?" Asked Kira, as she turned around.

     "What's your next class?" She asked.

     "Language Arts. Then Social Studies, Lunch, Math, and Science." Kylie said.

     "Oh my gosh! We have the same schedule! Well, except for first period. It's Art. Mr. Shannon says I'm great. We're building robots out of cans, and I made mine in ten minutes flat."

     "Great. Well, the bell rings in two minutes, and we need to get to class. Mr. Engquist's room is this way." Says Audrey. They all start walking to Mr. Engquist's room. All four of them says it's the most comfy classroom ever. Instead of hard desk seats, he has couches that sit behind long tables. He keeps the lights dimmed for a more relaxed environment, and he always has extra pencils. He said that this is the first year he's had the couches, because he had to save up and get them all at once. They go through the rest of the day with Mikenna at their side. Social Studies with Mr. Frampton, Math with Mrs. Runge, and Science with Mr. Townsley. Mikenna went her own way home, and the girls their's. They collapsed on the couch when they got home.

     "Crazy day, huh?" Their mom asked.

     "You have no idea." Jordan said.
