L'pov:
I woke up and saw a text from Light saying after school we're gonna go to the candy store. I was really happy for some reason. I still feel like I don't understand how feelings are all I've ever felt was sadness. "Well might as well get the school day over with and besides light will be there so it won't be to bad." I told myself and got dressed and started walking to school and saw light walking. I took out my headphones and started running to him and hugged on him. "Hehe hey L. You scared me at first I had no idea who was hugging me." He told me while giggling. "Haha s-sorry." I told him and blushed. "Nah don't worry about it." He told me and then we started walking to school. "Hey L, don't forget that after school we're going to that candy I promised you." He told me and I smiled and said "don't worry Light I didn't forget! I'm actually happy and excited. "I'm just glad your happy and smiling." Light told me and I couldn't help but to blush a little. As we walked to school talking we heard an annoying voice. "Hey look it's the freak! What are you doing walking by Light he's to popular and he doesn't want to be around a ugly freak that dresses like the way you do!" It was Misa that was saying that nothing new. I was gonna say something till Light said to her. "Misa you don't know shit about me and stop calling L a freak he's nothing close to a freak! And stop making fun of how he dresses heck I like it to be honest it looks good it doesn't look like trash! And don't assume who I want to and don't want to hang out with and I would rather hang out with someone fun like L then hang out with someone annoying like you!" He said and then we walked back to school while Misa just stood there looking surprised. I know she likes Light and light knows that as well but he hates her there's nothing he likes about her. To be honest he told me that he hates almost everyone in the school except for me not gonna lie it makes me feel better. "I'm sorry." Light said and I looked up at him and said "for what?" "For saying all that it's just I'm sick of you having to deal with that stuff. I'm sick of people who think they can say what ever they want to to you they need to treat you better! The freaking school needs to stop letting them get away with it to!" Light said and I smiled and said "thx for standing up for me. It's okay if they say something bad about me I'm just happy i have you it makes me happy to know I have a friend who's always there for me. It makes me truly happy." I told him and smiled while looking down. He smiled and we kept talking and we finally got to school. We have the same homeroom together so took are seats and decided to he the day over with. When I took my seat beside Light someone walked beside me and said "Lose." And then walked away I didn't say anything I looked beside Light who looked pissed so I smiled at him and he smiled back. After that I decided to get today over with.
Lights pov:
When I heard someone called L a loser it pissed me off I was close to slapping him but then I looked at L who just smiled at me I couldn't help but to Smile back so I decided not to hit him I didn't want to make L worry. After a few more classes me and L had lunch together. "Hey L I know you like sweets so I got you this." I gave a small pice of cake. "Wow! For me!? Are you you don't want it?" He asked me surprised. I laughed and said "of course it's all yours." After I said that he started eating it I couldn't help but to smile. People started looking at us but I didn't care L looked really happy so it made me happy. School was finally done with I walked up to L and we then went to the candy store I promised him. "Okay! Here we are." I said and let him look at the store.
L's pov:
"Here we are!" Light said and then I looked and I couldn't believe what I was seeing! There was so much candy! "Light this place is....." Light looked worry and said "do you not like it?" "THIS PLACE IS AMAZING LOOK AT ALL THE CANDY AND THE PLACE IS BEAUTIFUL!" I said and smiled. "hehe well I'm glad you like it. Now let's get some candy I got allot of money." light said and we got allot of candy and I got the biggest lollipop I've ever seen! "Wow Light! Look at that! It's so big! I've never seen a lollipop that big before!" I said and Light giggled and said "I'm gonna get you it then. It makes you happy after all." He smiles and got it for me. I decided I'm return I'm gonna get him one. "Here you go light!" I said and gave him it. "Don't worry I already paid for it." He smiled and said "thanks." We then decide to head home. As we were walking Light said "Hey L since it's the weekend do you wanna spend the night!? We can stay up all night watching movies, playing video games while eating candy!" He asked me while smiling. I'm surprised no one has ever wanted to have a sleepover before so this will be my first one. "Sure! It sounds fun I never had one before!" I told him. "Great! And to be honest same I mean I did have one with my cousin before but all we did was watch TV. People at school asked me to spend the night before but I didn't like most of them and all I ever did was study so I would tell them no." He said and I Just smiled and said "well we'll have fun." After that we kept walking and talking.
