Lights pov:
After I helped L up we started walking home and started talking about are past and what we like. "So Light?" L said and I looked at him and side "yeah?" "I know this might sound maybe kinda rude but I'm wanting to know... how come you never bullied me before like every one else had?" He asked me and I stopped walking right after he said that. "I just can't don't see why people mess with you it's not cool and I've never been the type of person to be mean to someone yeah I'll stand up for someone like I did for you back there but, If I know i can't do anything about something I'll try to avoid it. I really wanted to help you when people in are first period class were trowing paper at you but I felt like I couldn't of done anything and I knew the teacher would come in soon and stop them. I really do wish I did something tho I'm sorry I didn't." I told him and started feeling bad. "Well thx for not bullying me and don't worry about it it's okay I promise." He told me and smiled. I smiled back at him and decided to bring a good thing up instead of talking about sad stuff, to lighten up the mood. "So Lawliet do you like sweets?" I asked him and he stopped and stayed quiet. "Did I say something wrong?" I asked myself. But then he smiled and said "I love sweets! I eat anything sweets everyday to!" When he said that I knew the perfect place to take him and I wanna see him happy like this aging. "Well how about tomorrow after school I'll take you to this candy shop I know of?" I asked him and smiled. I really want him to say yes to be honest, no I'm not gay just like him being happy instead of being sad like I see him being at school all the time. "Really!? Are you sure?" He asked me. "Of course! It'll be fun." I told him and he smiled and said "alright then tomorrow let's go." He really was happy. We then started walking aging while talking about random stuff.

L's pov:
I was so happy that Light was gonna take me somewhere I was even more happy that we get sweets! I never had a friend before so I'm kinda scared about what to do I mean what if I do something wrong or say something wrong? I just have to try to be a good friend. "Hey light you already know I never had a friend before, but I'm gonna try to not mess anything up and hopefully you won't end up hating me." I said and he smiled and said "I could never hate you L and don't worry just be yourself. K?" He told me and I smiled and said "okay." We then got to his house. "My house is right here. If you want me to walk you home I can i don't mind." He told me but I don't love to far from him so I said. "Don't worry Light I don't live to far from you actually just a few more houses down and Is it okay if I ask for your number so I can text you when I get home?" I asked him hoping he'll give it to me. "Oh yeah of course let me look at my phone I don't really text anyone so I don't remember my number." He told me and giggled and then he gave me his number. I put his contact in my phone and I was about to leave till he said "can we take a picture before you leave?" He asked me. I smiled and said sure. We took one on his phone and I asked "can we take one on my phone to?" He smiled and agreed to it. We took the pic and then said are goodbyes. I got home and texted light letting him know I made it home and that I'm excited for tomorrow. I realized I made it sound like it was a date. "Lol same." Light texted back I guess he didn't take it that way since he replied like that so that's good. I text him for a few more hours till he told me he had to go to sleep. I don't sleep but I didn't want to be sleep and ruin anything tomorrow so I decided to sleep to. "For once I'm happy." I thought to myself and smiled and fell asleep.
