L's pov:
It was the last period the day was almost done with. Soon I'll be home and not in school or what I like to call it hell! The bell finally rung and I got my stuff together and walked out the door and started walking home listening to music when all of a sudden there's 4 boys were in front of me and wouldn't get out of my way so I took out my headphones and waited on them to say something. "Hey emo freak!" One of the boys said and hit me and I fell on the ground. "We're tried of you! We're gonna make sure you don't ever forget this, well if you make thro this." A boy said and punched me in the face and my nose started to bleed. I kicked him and it made him fall hard on the ground. "Why you little!" He got up and hit me aging. Then two more started hitting me and I was trying to fight all them back so I can go home and not have to deal with this, also I'm starting to get real tried of this happening to me. Always dealing with people hitting me and not except me to fight back. But 2 of them started holding me down while the other 2 started hitting me aging. To be honest... I wanted to cry not bc this hurts. Just because I wanna be like how most kids are and not having to deal with this stuff I hate it! No one knows how I feel and no one will ever know. I had to deal with these 4 guys beating me up and I couldn't fight back anymore no matter how hard I would try I couldn't win.

Lights pov:
School was finally over with and for some reason i still couldn't stop thinking about that boy that had to deal with people trowing paper at during first period and I kinda wish I did something but, what can I do? I couldn't of done anything even if I wanted to. I started walking home reading my book and then I looked up for a min and saw the same boy that was getting bullied in first period. He was on the ground while to people were holding him down and two other People were beating him up. Without thinking I ran and hit one of the guys pretty hard and he fell on the ground and pasted out. I looked at the other three guys and the got up and left while one of them were draining the boy I got away. "Are you alright?" I asked him. "Y-yeah thanks." He said and didn't look at me in the face even once. I held my hand out for him and said "what's your name?" He didn't take my hand for some reason and said "Lawliet... but you can call me L for short." "Alright L well I'm Light Yagami. Do you always have to deal with stuff like this?" I asked him. "I've been dealing with bullying since I was little and now I have trust issues that's why I didn't take your hand... I thought you would hit me.. that you didn't want the boys that were beating me up to have all the fun. It's happened before." After he said that I felt so bad for him I felt like I had to be with at all time so no one could hurt him. "It's okay and I'm sorry about that I'm sure your friends always try to not let that happen to you." I said hoping it would make him feel better but he said "I've never had a friend before." "Well you know I'd be happy to be your friend so you have a friend and I'm not gonna let anyone hurt you like that I'm gonna be here for you." I told him and smiled. "Don't make yourself be my friend if you don't want to be..." He told me and I really do to be honest I don't want him to get hurt and he seems cool. "I really do wanna be friends you seem really cool to be honest and you don't seem like your gonna be fake like everyone else." I told him and he smiled and said "okay then your my first friend then." I helped him up and we started walking on are way home while talking.
