"What is that?" I exclaim.

"That's your DNA. The enzyme is supposed to detect your Ingenium talent. Along with that, the brighter the colors are, the more vis the person has. Blue is Aevum, green is Terra, black is Umbra and white is Lux".

"Wait... So you're saying that... I have all of these abilities"

"Precisely. And someone with all of these abilities is called a Polymath, or otherwise known as the multi-talented."

"Why is it that I have so much vis?"

Dr. Wellever took a deep sigh and said, "You've been genetically enhanced"

"WHAT!?"

"Look, I know this is a big surprise for you but I need you to calm down"

"Calm down?! You're asking me to calm down when I realize that I'm completely different from others AND THAT I'VE BEEN GENETICALLY ENHANCED!"

The next thing I know a sweet syrupy feeling is coursing through my veins and my legs are failing to support me because they feel like jello.

Sleep. Calm down. Forget your worries and come here.

No! I will not fall for you, I said trying to resist the sedative.

I feel a sense of drowsiness settle over me and finally, I give in.

As I open my eyes I notice I'm in a dimly lit room propped up against a hospital bed.

I notice a shadowy figure in the room which causes me to bolt upright.

Then I notice the familiar voice.

"I'm sorry that we had to sedate you," Eliza says ruffling his afro.

"It's just thing is... you were getting hyped up because we dumped all this information on you"

"It's okay," I say, resting his hand on mine.

Wait... did I just do that?

It was at that moment that I noticed that Eliza and I were alone in the same room together.

When did my brain turn so mushy-mushy for a boy?
