*Hopes P.O.V.*

Memories swirled in my unconscious mind, as I tried to regain my conscience. Some memories were mere shadows, making them hard to see. Some memories were crystal clear, confusing me into thinking I was awake.

"Come on, Hope! You can do it!" Jason yelled to me, when I once again failed to catch a Lillipup. Gritting my teeth in aggrevation, I glared down at the PokeBall in my hands as I whispered, "Your my last one, PokeBall. Make me proud!" I threw my remaining PokeBall, surprising myself when I catch my first Pokemon! "You did it, Hope!" Jason yelled, hugging me as I held my PokeBall proudly in my hands. "Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I caught a Lillipup!" I yelled in victory.

"You were my brother, Jason! You promised me you'd help me fight the bad Pokemon trainers, not join them!" I yelled at my brother, as he was taken away to jail. Even though I had been blinded, I could hear my older brother crying as my parents and I left.

"Colin! Look!" I yelled to my brother, causing him to look in my direction. My lillipup had evolved into a Herdier! Colin smiled and fixed his eyeglasses, high fiving me as he congratulated, "Great job, Hope!" "Thanks!" I beamed as I ruffled up Colin's black hair. Colin yelled in shock as I and Herdier laughed.

"Your a freak, Ashley Ketchum!" A girl yelled at me, as another girl pushed me to the ground. Dad ran over and ushered the mean girls away before he craddled me. I cried into Dad's chest as he sighed, "Let's get you back home."

"Do you wanna build a snowman?" I asked a sleepy Colin, who giggled and nodded. We got dressed into snow jackets and ran out into the snow....

Light nearly blinded me as I woke up, heaving myself into a sitting position. Looking around the room, I noted the white walls and the metal door. Once again, I was in a prison cell. But at least this one was cleaner than the one Team Rocket and Jason had me in.

Remembering how Team Rocket hadn't searched my pockets, I searched my pockets for anything useful. There was nothing! No Pokedex, no knife, nothing! Not even my PokeBalls...... Wait!

"Pikachu? Mimikyu? Mincinno? Emolga? Eevee? Herdier?" I asked outloud, searching for their PokeBalls that I kept on my belt. They too had been taken from me. I groaned and lay back on the bed, wondering why I was being held prisoner.....

The door unlocked and opened, revealing the mystery guy who keeps saving my friends and I! Jumping onto my feet, I tried powering up my hands..... Only to realize my powers weren't working! In shock, I looked down at my hands, seeing strange shaped bracelets on my wrists.
"Why am I......?"

"You are under arrest by DAEF over the suspension of treason against the Pokemon world." The man simply stated, causing my eyes to widen. In shock, I asked, "Under arrest?!? I wanna help Pokemon, not hurt them.......!"

The man motioned to my shoulder, simply asking me, "Then why do you work for Lysandre and Team Flare X?" Confused, I pulled up my sleeve, nearly screaming at what I saw. On my shoulder, was a tattoo of Team Flare X's symbol! Looking up towards the man, I quickly stated, "Sir...."

"Sparks."

".......Sparks.....I've never seen this tattoo in my entire life! I'm not working for Lysandre or Team Flare X! Please, you have to let me go!" I hated that I sounded as if I were begging him to believe me, but what choice did I have?! If my powers managed to bypass these brackets and hurt someone.......

Sparks didn't answer. He didn't say anything as he closed the cell door, locking me inside. I felt alone, frightened by the tattoo and frightened by myself. What was gonna happen to me? What will my parents and friends think? They can't keep a 14 year old in this prison!......

Right?

My thoughts were interrupted when a lady came into my prison cell, closing the door behind herself. This lady.... I've seen her before...... Misty! The crazy red hair in a side ponytail and blue eyes gave her away! My dad use to be best friends with her when he began his Pokemon Journey! But why is she here?

Almost as if she read my mind, Misty whispered to me as she threw a bunch of clothing at me, "Get into this disguise; I'm breaking you out of here!" Once I managed to find myself among the pile of clothes, I slipped a dress over the clothes I was wearing. Confusion played at my mind, causing me to quietly ask, "Why are you helping me.....?"

"Because I know Ash Ketchum would not raise his children to join any evil organizations, especially Team Flare X." Misty nearly yelled, but kept it down to a whisper, "There is a good possibility that you could have been framed and that tattoo could have been planted on you to confuse DAEF."

Misty did have a point. Putting a curly brown wig and a floppy straw hat over my blonde hair, I quietly said, "We need to rescue my Pokemon....!" "Already did." Misty passed me my 6 Pokemon in their Pokeballs, my Pokedex, my pocket knife and a few other things that were in my pockets. Hey, what can I say? My capri pants have a lot of pockets!

My nerves were being fired as Misty boldly led me out of DAEF headquarters, claiming to anyone who stopped us that she had found me wandering around. Since I didn't look like myself, people let me by. Thankfully, Pikachu was hiding in a bag Misty had given me, to keep Pikachu hidden.

Once we had safely ducked into a alleyway, I took off the ridiculous dress and wig, thanking Misty, "Thank you for helping me escape!" Misty nodded as she put the disguise in a trashcan, telling me, "Don't worry about it. Just worry about getting caught by Sparks. When he finds out your missing, he'll start looking for you."

I sadly nodded my head, thanking Misty again before I departed from her. I'm gonna have to tell my friends and siblings about what is happening..... And how to get this flipping tattoo off of my shoulder. Luckily, I know someone whose good with tattoos......
