*Hopes P.O.V.*

A few days after I was kidnapped by Jason and Team Rocket, my friends and I reached Ambrette town. This tiny town only has 27 residents, making it the largest town in Kalos. Nestled in a ravine, Ambrette town had a great view of the ocean!

Walking into town, Steven suggested, "How about we go get some lunch before we go visit the Ambrette Aquarium?" Julie's stomach growled, causing everyone laughed. Julie blushed in embarrassment, replying, "Yes, let's go get lunch." Finding a diner, we found a empty booth and sat down.

Why can't we ever have a normal day? Or a normal lunch for that matter? I don't know why, but trouble has a way of finding us, whether we want it or not. Colin looked towards the front deck, pulling back his head as he whispered, "Don't look now, but we got trouble!"

Confused by my brother's statement, I moved around and peeked over the back of our booth. Sure enough, some older man was talking/yelling to a lady at the countertop, who couldn't have been more than 21 years old. I nearly ran out the door when I saw the pistol in the older guys pocket.

Quietly, I reached down to my belt and grabbed Fennikens PokeBall. Sara's eyes widen at me as Punkalina grabbed my wrist, hissing, "Are you mad? He could kill you!" "And he could kill that lady up their, long with everyone here in this diner." I hissed back, slowly prying my sister's hand from my wrist. When Punkalina finally let go of me, I stood up and causally walked towards the cash register.

This girl was in a lot more trouble then I thought. Apparently this guy is her dad who tried to kill her at a young age when she accidentally killed her mother, his wife. The girls been running and hiding eversince..... I shook my head, somewhat hating that I can read minds.

The guy was holding the gun so that it was hidden in his coat pocket, but was pointed towards his daughter. Darkly, he growled, "There's nowhere to run this time, Cassie......" "There's always a place to run; ones imagination." I spoke boldly, causing the guy to glare at me. The man simply rolled his eyes and ordered me, "Scram, brat. This isn't your problem...."

"You made it my problem when you pointed your gun at this lady." I jerked my head towards the lady to vertify who I was talking about. Growling darkly, the guy pulled out his gun and pointed it right at me! Immediately, everyone in the diner ducked down and screamed, while my friends got up.

Quickly thinking, I threw my PokeBall and yelled, "Fenniken, Flamethrower, now! Only hit the bad man!" Fenniken popped out of her PokeBall, shooting her Flames towards the guy! The guy got burned a bit, largely on his face and arms when he tried covering his face.

Cassie used this opportunity to get everyone outside, the guy screaming in pain. Removing his hands, the guy showed his burnt face, causing me to nearly throw up. The guy grabbed his PokeBall, yelling as he threw it, "Houndoon, attacked the girl!"

The guys Houndoon came out of his PokeBall, running full force towards me! Punkalina and Colin yelled, "Hope!!!!!!" "Geodude, go!" Steven yelled, throwing his PokeBall. Now, I don't know how this happened, but what happened next probably saved my life........

"Delphox! Power-up punch!"

A Delphox jumped in front of me, (accidentally knocking me over), using his special move on the Houndoon. I sat up and watched the two Pokemon fight in awe, before I looked towards the Delphox owner. The guy who was saving my life was wearing a mask that didn't covered his mouth, wearing a black hooded cloak. Now, for a split second, he and I met eye contact, before he took off with his Pokemon. I didn't know why, but I felt I knew that guy from somewhere.......

Officer Jenny arrested the bad guy as Cassie hurried over to us, saying, "Thank you so much! You have no idea how much this means to me that you helped me!" I smiled politely, reassuring her, "It was my pleasure, miss." Cassie left as someone else came up to us, telling me, "That was pretty amazing, kid! What's your name?"

"I'm Hope, Hope Ketchum. And you are.....?" I asked, eyeing the stranger cautiously. She wore a light blue head band over her long wavy red hair, with a silver chain necklace around her neck. A bracelet with a pale blue jewel sat on her wrist, while the lady wore a pale blue shirt, pale blue tennis shoes and black pants.

Holding out a hand for me to shake, she replied, "I'm Belle, the Ambrette Gym Leader! Do you wish to battle me for a badge?" Hesitating, I looked down at Fenniken who wagged her tail excitedly. It looks like she wanted to fight. Smirking at Belle, I told her, "Your on!" "I'll go to the police station and clear my name; I'll meet you guys in a little bit!" Steven told us, to which we nodded our heads and walked away from him.

***Time Skip to Ambrette Gym***

"We'll use one Pokemon each, no time limit." Belle told me, standing on the opposite side of the arena. It was cylinder shaped, with a aquarium in the walls, filled with fish. Belle stood near a deck that overlooked a lake. Nodding my head, I spoke up, "That sounds fine with me." Belle smiled happily, declaring as she threw her PokeBall, "Goodra! Go!" "Fenniken, go!" I ordered my Fox Pokemon, who jumped into the arena.

"Goodra, use hyper beam!" Belle yelled, causing me to yell, "Fenniken! Dodge it then use Flamethrower!" Fenniken nimbly dodged the beam, shooting and hitting the Goodra. It did some damage.

Belle called, "Goodra, hyper beam again!" I quickly ordered, "Fenniken, dodge and use Flamethrower again!" Fenniken dodged the hyper beam again, shooting and hitting the Goodra again. A few more attacks like this and several tackles from Fenniken had Belle's Goodra faint!

We called our Pokemon back, Belle walking over to me and congratulating me, "Nice job, Hope!" "Thanks! It's my first real Pokemon battle, to be honest." "Well, you did a good job at it. Heres your wave badge." Belle handed me a badge that looked like a wave, to which I smiled, "Thanks......!" Julie ran over to me, gasping, "Hope! Come quick! Steven has been arrested!"

"ARRESTED?!?!?"

Weirds fact: Cassie and her father are actually based off of a dream I had a few nights ago. After the girl had accidentally killed someone, her dad put her away in a kid jail and waited a few years before going back to the jail, set on killing his daughter. The girl had discovered her powers of flight and telekinesis, using them to help her and her two friends escape. Later on in life, the girl had a coffee shop where her father found her, but one of her friends managed to kill him before he could kill her.
