Lianna just left Flare and her parents Frostina and Blazion, when she sees a pond. A perfect time to catch Water Type Pokémon. At the pond, there was a dark version of the Yo-Kai, Kyubi waiting for Lianna. "Hello." The Dark Kyubi said. This was Darkyubi. "Oh hi there. You remind me of Kyubi, but dark." Lianna said. "I see. Corren is my son." Darkyubi said. "Does this mean you're a member of Team Corrupt too?!" Lianna yelled out loud nervously. "Yes." Darkyubi said. "Oh no! Your son already stole my Gyarados and a Turtwig egg! One of his commanders told me to give her a Sneasel." Lianna yelled. "My wife." Darkyubi said. "You're married to that girl?" Lianna asked Darkyubi. "Yes." Darkyubi said. "Oh gosh. Why does Team Corrupt want me so badly! What if you guys want me to join your team?" Lianna asked Darkyubi. "We don't." Darkyubi explained. "Why do you keep bothering me?" Lianna asked. "I should be asking you that!" Darkyubi explained. "I just don't want you to steal from others!" Lianna explained. "Why?" Darkyubi asked. "It is not yours!" Lianna explained, frowning. "So?" Darkyubi asked. "Do I have to battle you?" Lianna asked Darkyubi. "No." Darkyubi said. "Okay. Can I see your pals? Your Pokémon?" Lianna asked Darkyubi. "No." Darkyubi responded. "Okay. See you later!" Lianna explained, heading over to the pond to fish.

Lianna was fishing in the pond when she encountered another wild Mantine. Lianna quickly pulled out some berries. "Hi there." Lianna said calmly. "Tine?" Mantine asked. Lianna set down a berry, hoping to become friends with it. The Mantine stole the berry and swam off. "Wait!" Lianna cried out to the Mantine. "Not all want to be friends?" Darkyubi asked Lianna. "I guess not. But I gave it food!" Lianna explained. "So?" Darkyubi asked. "That was the second Mantine I tried to catch." Lianna explained sadly. "I see." Darkyubi said. Lianna tosses in her bobber again. "I'm going to see what other Pokémon I could find." Lianna said.

A little Pokémon called Seel appeared. "Oh hi there." Lianna said, getting a small handful of Pokémon food into her hand, holding it out. "Want this?" Lianna asked. The Seel ate up the Pokémon food. Lianna petted the Seel gently. "Seel!" Seel explained happily. "You wanna be my friend?" Lianna asked the Seel. Seel started to think about it. Lianna smiles happily, until Darkyubi takes it. "Hey! I was going to befriend the Seel!" Lianna explained. "So?" Darkyubi asked. Lianna frowns. "Give it back!" She begged. "No." Darkyubi said and he teleported away with the Seel. Lianna goes fishing again and pulls out a Goldeen. "Oh hi there." Lianna said, getting out another handful of Pokémon food for Goldeen. Goldeen eats the handful of Pokémon food. "Hey there. I'm not going to hurt you." Lianna explained, smiling. Goldeen nods, trusting Lianna. "You wanna be my friend?" Lianna asked Goldeen. Goldeen nods again. "Okay!" Lianna explained, smiling and using a Pokéball on Goldeen. Goldeen got caught by Lianna. "Yay!" Lianna said, noticing more berries. "Ooooh! I gotta get more berries!" Lianna explained, heading over.

Suddenly, a blue Nyan Yo-Kai named Hovernyan appeared. "Hello." Hovernyan said. "Oh hi Hovernyan!" Lianna explained. "Hi." Hovernyan said. "What are you doing here?" Lianna asked. "Hm?" Hovernyan asked. "What are you doing here?" Lianna repeated herself. Hovernyan nodded. "Are you a gym leader?" Lianna asked Hovernyan. "No." He responded. "Are you a trainer?" Lianna asked. "No. I'm Professor Bloom's partner." He said. "Oh. You work for Professor Bloom." Lianna said. "Partner." Hovernyan explained. "Yeah. I'm Lianna. Wanna see my Pokémon Partners?" Lianna asked Hovernyan. "Sure." Hovernyan said. "Okay!" Lianna explained, sending out Bayleef, Vulpix, Shiny Marill, Furret, Ariados and Pidgeotto.

"Bay!" Bayleef said happily. "Ari!" Ariados called. "Fur!" Furret called happily. "Mar!" Shiny Marill explained. "Pidge!" Pidgeotto chirped. "Vul!" Vulpix explained. Hovernyan starts to examine each of them. "They are all my best friends." Lianna explained. "I see. Here." Hovernyan said, handing Lianna a Fire Stone. A fire stone was a special stone that would turn Vulpix into a Ninetails. "A fire stone? You want me to give it to Vulpix?" Lianna asked. "When the time comes." Hovernyan said. "Alright. I'll hang onto this. Thank you." Lianna said happily. "No problem." Hovernyan said. Lianna smiles. "I also have a female Nidoran, a Caterpie and a Goldeen at Bloom's lab." Lianna explained. Hovernyan was looking away from Lianna. Lianna was confused. "Bloom has been upset lately." Hovernyan said. "About the Turtwig egg?" Lianna asked.

"Corren wasn't always bad, she loves him. Even now." Hovernyan explained. "Oh gosh... why does the do this stuff?" Lianna asked Hovernyan. "He's been corrupted. To the point of no going back." Hovernyan explained. "Oh gosh... maybe someday he would return to normal... maybe the antidote..." Lianna said. "We tried several times." Hovernyan said. "Oh.... I'm sorry for him..." Lianna said sadly. "The eggs hatched." Hovernyan said. "Does this mean there is a new baby Chimchar and Piplup?" Lianna asked Hovernyan. "Yes." Hovernyan said. "Awww! That sounds so cute! But they will probably be missing their Turtwig pal..." Lianna said sadly. "They do." Hovernyan explained. "If only I could choose one, but I already own Bayleef." Lianna said. "I see." Hovernyan said. "I wanna train and evolve my pals of Caterpie, Nidoran and Goldeen." Lianna said. "I see." Hovernyan said again. "Yeah. I'm going to try to catch them all." Lianna said. "I believe you." Hovernyan explained. "When I'm done in Johto, I'll travel to the other regions." Lianna explianed. "I see." Hovernyan said a third time. "I'm going to try to catch more Pokémon." Lianna said. "Good luck." Hovernyan said. "Okay, bye!" Lianna said, heading into the forests again. Hovernyan smiled as Lianna went into the woods for more new adventures.
