Death. Why are we so afraid of death? Our death is inevitable. You cannot run from it, no matter how much we all try to. People fear the unknown, it is in our nature. Come to accept the fear, why do we dread it so much? It is not comparable to the fear of spiders, you certainly can run from spiders, also facing the fear is mostly unrealistic. Yet, death is none of those. You cannot run from it, it is not unrealistic, it most definitely is reality. We are afraid of death because it is unpredictable. We cannot predict when it is supposed to happen, where, how or why. For me, that is the best part. We do not have to worry about a given timeline and dread it until it happens, that only would give us more pressure to live in a certain way. Not knowing when death will face us, we mostly can live however we want to. We should still live our lives to our fullest capacity, yet we should not have to worry about having to do something before we reach a certain age or certain set goal. We should just live life how we want and let fate or God decide when it is our time to wither.
The things we fear death for, are these not the same things we could dread life for? We also are not given the information of when, what or why things will happen to us. So if we would apply the mindset of fearing death on our life now, then we should be afraid of life just as much. But we are not, why? We are too afraid to also live our life in fear. We think life Isa game that we can play without any other consequences other than death. Since we think death is the worst occurrence that could happen to us, we only fear that. Well, do you not think some things given in life, are worse of a pain to endure than death?
I will not finish this discussion, simply because death is uncertain and unknown, it should be respected and i certainly am not the one that has the privilege of fulfilling it with a correct answer.
