Once I came across
a bird who was domesticated to be caged.
Making itself believe
that she can not
wing it's way.
She was trained
that if she attempted
to fly out she would pain herself.
She consequently
brought up her mind ,
and her cage started
to feel the safest all place.
Those wings that were meant to flutter lost it's strength.
Now it seemed horrifying for her to explore the edges of uncertain world.
Her mind entrapped her within the room of doubts.
Sometimes gazing out long at chirping delights, she would think of riding the skies.
But this haunting musings would strike of as soon as it forged.
For she had hooked up with her anxiety.
Settling for the ignoble beliefs.
Hoping you my darling won't't be that caged bird.
Don't let yourself be tamed by society's notion.
Let you dreams soar high.
