Fail or succeed,
That's not it's deed,
It's to push you forward,
Doing better than what you sold.

Recalling a time,
All her daddy could do was say she could climb high if only she tried harder.
But daddy you don't understand how hard it is to do this with just a starter,
You don't seem to know
How badly I try.

He tells her day after day that it'll get better one day,
Only if she keeps trying and trying.
It started to drive her crazy,
At times she wished he would just say something to make her feel okay.
It didn't help that she kept making mistakes, just a small word of praise would of made it better in every way.

everything has gone array.

Sometimes she got sick and tired of all the failures,
She would want to lay down and give up.
But her daddy would tell her she can't stop,
Help her rise to the top.

Whether it be to paint, write or run,
He would encourage her on.
Thank you daddy,
I won.
