Senator's Son Runs Away, Mother Asks People to Look Out for Him

On Wednesday morning, Sarah Cortes found an empty bed and an open window in one of her son's rooms.

Her son, Patrick Cortes, was nowhere to be found, and still remains unlocated.

"It was completely out of nowhere," Senator Jameson Cortes explained when interviewed. "Sure, he and I had fought a few nights before, but Patrick seemed fine. We don't know what caused him to run away," he said.

Senator Cortes had been seen comforting his distraught wife as she sobbed multiple times while they talked to police.

Patrick Cortes is a fourteen-year-old boy, last seen wearing his black night clothes. He has dirty-blond hair and pale skin, with a very few freckles on his face.

"I just want my baby home," Sarah Cortes sobbed when she was interviewed. "Patrick, baby, if you're reading this, please come home," she pleaded. "We won't be mad."

The Cortes family is putting out a $10,000 reward for anyone who finds their son and brings him back home safely. The police are also working to find Patrick Cortes.
