Cassey's POV:

I knew I was caught but no way in the earth I was going to accept that so I continued to eat my ice cream pretending like I don't know what's going on.

"Then we are going for long walk."

"Hmm? What did you just say?" keeping my expressions confused I asked raising my eyebrows even though I had heard everything.

"We. Are. Going. To. Walk." She said through greeted teeth making each word clearly audible.

"No mom!" I cried out, "Its too late, besides I have to pack my bag for morning and--" I started with reasoning to escape it but she cut me off, "You can do that later."

"Mom!" squinting my eyes, I continued, "There would be dark creatures lurking around," I made scary face and rotating fingers of both hands in front.

"Oh really?" She mocked and continued, "then we should definitely check them out don't you secretly love vampires?"

"But mom, I'm not even fat or something," I pouted making sweet little innocent face.

"I don't want you to wait for that either,"
'Ouch! that was rude'

"Fine." I sighed irritably.

Keeping bowl in kitchen I quickly pulled out my phone and downloaded howling and scary sounds. 'Oh this should be fun now' I grinned evilly and plastered irritated look on my face before coming out of the kitchen.

It was silent outside, cold breeze touching my face and blowing my dark brown hair. There were very few people or vehicles passing us on this dark street.

Walking late night turned out to pretty nice. However, I had a plan and it was to execute it. We were all alone walking on sidewalk.

I pulled the phone from my back pocket. Screen was waiting for me to click on play button.

Mom was on my right side so, I kept phone in my left hand below hip and clicked play while keeping its volume low while walking straight and listening to something mom was saying about using mobile while on road. She didn't notice doing me.

Slow howl made mom turn around to check from where it was coming. I tried not to laugh but internally I did and then I grabbed her wrist while tried to look scared as well.

She still kept walking, it wasn't getting fun so I increased volume and it actually made her scare,"Mom its near," I added and then came a sudden loud shrieking that I didn't knew existed cause I didn't hear whole of it due to lack of time. It scared shit out of me too so I stopped walking to pause that scary music but before I could have done that mom quickly grabbed my hand and asked me to run so I ran with her while managing to click pause it in between. She would have thought we actually made through it. 'LOL'.

We reached home back in a minute cause she literally made us run for our lives. Catching my breath I caught glimpse of her face which was so horrified like somebody was actually there and could have possibly killed us. I was feeling little guilty for scarring her but nevertheless it was fun and she was the one to force me. I made myself believe that I was not wrong for pulling this prank.

I made my way to bedroom, closing door behind. I started to laugh like a mad girl.
"Oh shit......... oh shit" I muttered between my laughs kicking my shoes and clutching my tummy. It started to pain and tears formed in my eyes after few minutes. I was just praying mom couldn't hear it cause it was too loud. Imagining that I had scared hell out mom and her face, I was not able to stop myself from laughing. I coughed cause of continuous laughter. I took a deep breath trying to get some air.

Being already in night wear, which was regular grey colored shorts with sky blue camisole. I jumped on bed holding my one and only teddy tightly I tried sleeping but horrified face of scared mom wouldn't let me. Smile on my face never fading I drifted into sleep thinking about how well I had played along.

Morning 6 am

My alarm roared making me wake up from lovely sleep I was in. Switching it off, I sat on bed still eyes closed, legs tangled in sheets and my weight lying on my arms. Right now if anyone gave me slight push I will fall back on bed.

"Caaaasseeeeeeey," my mom cooed walking in my bedroom, "wake up sweetheart,"

"Ummm...."
"I'm awake," I said trying open my eyes which didn't bother to budge even a little.

"Cassey c'mon you'll be late dear, wake up," mom caressed my hairs removing them from my face.

"Yes," I said still in deep sleep and eyes closed.

I stood up from bed, sheets falling off me half on bed and half hanging up to floor. I stepped towards bathroom while opening my right eye to peek to check my way. Holding sink for support for a minute and after trying hard I opened my eyes and splashed cold water on my face. I pulled my hair into quick bun tying it with rubber band so that it won't get wet when I take shower.
"Phone" I went to back in room keeping my phone and portable charger on charging at a time. I searched for clothes that I'll wear for a day.

I was not that popular girl or something but everyone did knew me in my grade because I never take anybody's shit and known as badass of  the grade. Some calls me weirdo some call me bitch and list goes on but on my face they call me Cass, I giggled to myself thinking they were afraid of me.

Bathing and brushing as fast as possible, I wore  dark pink and grey stripped full sleeves top with black shorts. Combing my hair and clutching half of it with clip. Finishing with socks and converse I was ready for the day.

Mom had already set glass of hot chocolate on table and healthy cookies. I don't like to eat whole lot of breakfast in early morning because if I have it, it feels like I would vomit any moment and it gives me constant uneasy feelings for hours

Stuffing my portable charger and bottle in my bag I slipped it on my shoulder.

"Cassey!" Mom shouted from kitchen when I was about to walk through door, "Sandwiches."

"Oh yes," she came walking fast, snatching box from her hand I rushed to pass through door.

This is maximum closest I could find for my imagination tho this is on another level like eyebrows are raised and Casey's would be narrowed or squinted eyes and mouth not open. Its actually weird tho but will help you to imagine if my words are not able to : check out
