Casey's POV:

He smiled widely looking at me and was about to say something I guess, that's when that bitch took his attention back to herself. Such an attention seeker. I went back to table and sat there, everyone else were still eating, especially the new couple because they were more into talking rather than eating, so I took one slice from Amy's pizza and like I knew she didn't even realised it. My eyes were solely on Derrick and certain blonde who I dislike, trying to understand what they could be talking about so much. I felt him turning, so in next moment my eyes were on Lily, who was actually looking at me with analysing gaze. I raised my eyebrows at her, giving look say 'what?' She shook her head and bit her last slice of pizza. Caleb cracked some lame joke which twins made laugh. Me and Lily rolled our eyes. Caleb was charmer but not for us, we knew him from childhood.
After that I didn't found Derrick anywhere. I sighed sadly.

"Hey," someone called me from behind when I was about take my last step towards exit. I turned my head to look back to find Derrick in red tee and cap.

"Hi," I said back hesitantly, "Uh...So delivery?"

"I guess." He smiled scratching his back of head.

"How are you?" He asked after few seconds of nothingness.

"I am good, you?" I asked back not knowing what else to say.

"Great," he chirped feeling quite excited,"Cass, I wanted to ask you something?"

My heart started beating little fast, feeling excited what he would ask, maybe my contact number? "Umm... Sure go ahead."

"Since you are regular customer, I would like to ask you-" he glanced around to find all standing few metres away, "and your friends."

Here we go with some shitty feedbacks or don't know what and here I was thinking.... Never mind. I gave a fake smile, from inside I was hella disappointed but tried not showing on face.

"Ask what?" I asked boringly.

"We are thinking to extend to burgers and puff and introduce new flavours of pastries, cookies, or something that public demands." He had started hesitantly but ended up professionally.

This got my interest, "Oh wow that's great, besides who would eat that vanilla pastries and regular cookies? Don't mind. But yeah burgers will be great, a cheesy burger or mouth melting chicken, ham or steak, crispy bacon with flavoured mayonnaise or mint and basil or lettuce sauce, and cream cheese or as pizza, hmm... That sounds yumm. And dark chocolate pastries, donuts, and cookies--"

"Whoa! You gotta stop there sweetheart, we aren't converting pizza shop into coffee shop, now are we?" He asked coolly, making my heart flutter when he called me sweetheart.

Smiling sheepishly, " No, but you guys should consider soda and other drinks, you've just got Coke and Pepsi there. Lemon, mint flavoured will be great add on and," I paused dramatically, "We can get Pepsi anywhere but not customised drink." I said nodding my head proudly as I gave a good strategic plan.

He nodded thoughtfully, "Yup, you're right there but we don't have vanilla pastry." He looked confused.

"Those chocolates pastries are filled with vanilla cream inside so those are qualified as vanilla not chocolate." I stated rolling my eyes making him chuckle. He looked cute while laughing slightly.

I started walking towards my friends because everyone was looking at me and Derrick.

"Hey and what about your friends?" He called out,"why don't you ask yourself." I winked.

He introduced himself and asked their views. He was so confident while talking, I just stared at him because I didn't needed to listen to their conversation. He looked so handsome with his hair falling over one side of his forehead giving bad boy look. He occasionally would look at me and I would just nod like I was listening and agreeing, but reality was far more different.

Everyone was very happy with idea of Burger in area. We had one but it wasn't close and this one being just four to five blocks will be very convenient and free quick delivery.

While bidding him good bye we stared at each other for seconds before I torn my eyes. It felt hypnotic, like a feeling to look into them and that's what I did, turning back to look at him to found his eyes where on me. I quickly turned away and blushed furiously.

Lily gave me look that I know what's going on, "What happened?"

I hesitated but declined,"Nothing, why?"

"I can see everything clearly, if you don't know." She snorted.

"I don't know what you are talking about." I played innocent again.

"Yeah right." She scoffed, "You like Derrick?

"What? Like? I mean ....... Yea...he's hot and the way he talks, who wouldn't, Right?" I shrugged.

"Yeah but it wasn't just a look and the way you guys were talking, it says like there is something more to it." She said in confident tone and it made me question, is there something more?

"Think as you like, what can I say, its all right when you look at guys and gush about them but not me." I complained trying to justify.

"Yeah but I am never serious about them and you aren't like that, hardly any guy catches your eye--" I cut her off, "I did agree he looks hot, didn't I? And I don't understand what are you implying?"

"I do agree on hot part, I was just confirming that you don't like him so I can have him all for me," she winked.

Before I could have said anything to her, Ash called us, so we had to leave.
