Killian's Pov

I sat in a chair with a desk in front of me. My desk. My one elbow was propped up on the wooden desk with my head resting against my clenched fist. My elbow dug into the desk. A stoic expression lay on my face. The only emotion was coming from my ticking jaw. Concentration.

A map lay in front of me. A red line dotting from our current location to Misthaven. Our destination.

I stood up and walked over to the large wood wardrobe on the opposite side of the room from me. I pulled on the handles, letting the doors swing open. I reached past the rows of black leather coats and pulled out a light brown leather coat from the back along with a dark brown vest and pants. I put on the attire, feeling way too formal. I set the matching brown mask on the desk. I lace my swords sheath around my waist and insert my sword into the sheath. I add a dagger to my waistband and in my boot for good measure. I then hide my sword beneath my coat, before walking out of my quarters and stepping out onto the deck of The Jolly Roger.

My crew members are waiting for me on the deck wearing the nicest clothes the could find. I walked around and up the stairs to the helm of my ship. My right hand man James stood to my right and my adviser William Smee stood to my left.

"There is a royal ball tonight in the Charming Palace. The ball is to celebrate Prince Neal Cassidy for becoming a knight in the kingdom of Misthaven," I bellowed my face show no emotion, "Why a Prince is giving up his title for becoming a knight under the rule of another king? I have no idea. All I know is that the Charming Royal Family will be there. Our mission, kidnap the princess," cheering erupted from the small audience, "Princess Emma. Once I have the princess in my possession we all run like hell back to this ship. With how many royal member will be there, the party is sure to have every black knight in the kingdom there. So once I am aboard the ship, anyone who hasn't arrived back here within the time it takes me to get back with the princess will be left on these lonely shores. Then most likely to be hung for their murderous crimes and assisting with the kidnap of the princess. Once we sail away, we get as far away as we can from these shores. Am I clear?"

Most of the crew nodded. Some men shouted "Aye Captain."

"Going back to the actual kidnapping, most of you will take the servant entrance and impersonate as the palace staff. Be careful though. Do not be spotted by the king and queen for they know every member of their staff. If spotted the whole mission could be compromised. I will take Jack with me through the front entrance of the castle. Once Prince Neal's knighting ceremony is over I take off to get the princess. It should be pretty easy because all Princesses are just as helpless and weak as the one before. Stay in the ballroom because once the Princess is discovered missing, there is only a matter of time before the black guard will be on our trail we may need you to stop them from getting to the princess and I. Also beware the King and Prince Neal, there are very well trained swordsmen. Any man who sacrifices their life to hold back the black guard will be crowned with honor above my ship. Any questions?"

One man raised his hand. I gestured for him to speak.

"Why are we kidnapping the princess?"

"Because the king and queen would pay any reward for the safe return of the princess. We will raise the highest bid and only if they accept will we return their beloved princess. We would be rich and have the money to go anywhere and be safe from our enemies."

Many men cheered once again. Another man raised his hand.

"Where will we run to?"

"That information is only for your captain to know because if you do end up being left in Misthaven you will not be able to bargain for you life with invaluable information on the location of the princess. Understood?" I spat.

The whole crew went quiet.

"Clear as mud," I muttered under my breath.

"Now get ready to make port. We have a princess to kidnap."
