This will all be a flashback, so you guys can see a bit of her past. Most thoughts will be in italics and underline.

Flashback

Third Person POV

Luffy, Ace, and Sabo (Omg they spell checked Sabo to sabotage XD) were running around the beach, chasing each other when saw a girl being washed up by the waves. They all looked at each other and encoded to help each other.

"DADAN!!!! WE FOUND A GIRL THAT'S PROBABLY DEAD!!!" Ace yelled.

"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOU- OH MY GOODNESS!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING JUST STANDING THERE!!?? GET HER IN HERE!!!" Dadan yelled at the boys.

They treated and bandaged all they wounds and checked her pulse and all that doctor-y stuff (I don't know what people do when they find someone who might be dead).

A Few Days Later (I'm too lazy for this,)

The girl woke up (wow, does anyone else feel deja vu) and Dadan started worrying like a mother who's child was just in a coma.

"Um, I would just like some water and food please. And may I get your name?" The girl asked.

"Ok, I'll get you some as soon as I can, oh, and my name's Dadan. What's your name sweetie?"

"My name's Kei Hitomi Ma'am."

"Oh, don't call me Ma'am, it makes me feel old. Please call me Dadan."

"Ok Dadan."

The girl nodded as she saw Dadan walk out of the room. "LUFFY SAVE SOME MEAT FOR YOUR GUEST!!!! SHE'S MORE HUNGRY THAN YOU!!!"

"YOU MEAN THAT GIRL IS AWAKE?! I WANNA SEE HER!!" I heard an unfamiliar voice say. After I hear that, I heard quick footsteps coming towards my room while Dadan while yelling.

The door opened and it revealed a dark-haired boy with a straw hat on his head. "Hi, my name is Monkey D. Luffy. Want to be my friend?"

"Oh, um, sure, I'll be your friend. By the way, I'm Kei Hitomi."

Luffy had a wide grin on his face, "YAY I MADE A NEW FRIEND!!!!"

That made a small smile come to my face. "How old are you Hitomi?" Luffy asked.

"I'm 6 years old."

"Cool, I'm 6 too." ( I don't really remember their ages, and I don't feel like searching it up, so I'll just guess).

I opened my mouth to talk when Dadan opened the door with a plate of food and a glass of water in her hands.

"Thank you Dadan-san."

"You're welcome sweetie, I can see you and that troublemaker are getting along."

"Yeah, he's my new friend!"

"YUP! WE'LL BE BEST FRIENDS FOREVER!!!!" Luffy yelled while throwing his arms around my neck.

Dadan's facial expression softened as she smiled and went out of the room to let us get to know each other.

Time Skip (what happens next will not be in the anime/manga)

Third Person POV

Hitomi later became friends with Ace and Sabo and convinced them to let her come with them to their adventures whenever she wants.

"Hey Hitomi, you wanna go on an adventure with me?" Luffy asked with his signature grin.

"Sure, just let me finish sweeping."

After a few minutes, they started off their adventure into the woods. After getting lost, they were suddenly jumped by a fairly large wolf.

It started circling around them when the wolf started to attack Luffy. Luffy screamed and that was when Hitomi's appearance changed. Her curly/wavy pink hair changed to wavy blonde hair. Her left purple-ish pink-ish eye turned into a red-ish orange-ish eye, but her right eye stayed the same blue-ish grey-ish color.

She looked into the wolf's eye and unconsciously used her conqueror haki (she could control all types of haki, but since she's young, she doesn't have too much control over it). Th wolf backed down and looked down submissively.

I'm sorry Minori-sama, Hitomi-sama. The wolf said telepathically.

It's fine, why did you attack him anyways? Minori questioned.

I'm sorry, but my pup has been starving.

What's your name, and your pup's?

My name is Luna, my pup's name is Alpha. Luna said.

Hitomi got back into control, Well, you can always tell me if you or your pup is hungry, I would happily give you some food.

Well, I don't think that is needed. Please take my pup, I could feel myself slowly dying and I would like you to take care of him, please. Luna said with pleading eyes.

Hitomi had compassion in her eyes, Of course I will take care of him. Once you die, I will give you a proper burial, you would have made an amazing mother Luna.

Luna gave her a wolf-ish smile, Thank you Hitomi-sama, I am grateful that I ran into you. I know that you would take good care of my Alpha. And thank you for that compliment, I appreciate it.

Hitomi smiled back at her, No need, I would love to help any animal in need. And no need to thank me, I'm just speaking the truth. Now, may you please take me to your pup?

Oh yes, and please, let me carry your friend, he seems to be passed out there. Luna said while looking at Luffy who fainted.

Luna picked Luffy up with her mouth and led Hitomi to her pup.

Wow, I really wished she did not have to die so soon. She would have been such an amazing and caring mother.

Yeah, I really feel bad for doing this, but it would have been worse if we just left him without a mother.

Yeah, I just wished things didn't have to happen this way.

It's a way of life. We just have to go through the motions and change so that we can face the world.

Wow, that's deep...

Well, we have been through quite a bit.

True, true.

We're here. Luna said, snapping Hitomi out of her thoughts.

We went into the cave and Hitomi saw the sweetest little wolf she has ever seen in her life.

"Awe, is this little cutie Alpha!?" Hitomi asked while running up and taking the pup into a hug.The puppy seemed to like it and he licked her face and snuggled into her

Luna smiled, seeing that her pup likes his new guardian, Yes it is, I trust that you will take care of him.

"Oh of course. I will protect him with my life." Hitomi said while looking at the pup lovingly.

I will watch over you guys from the heavens. Luna said while walking to her pup and caressing him with her snout one last time. Alright little Alpha, this is your new mother now. Don't worry though, I will still watch over you as you grow up.

"Don't worry Luna. I have the power to transfer my memory and I will definitely show him my memory of you when the time is right."

Thank you Hitomi-sama, I appreciate all the things that you have done and will do for me and my pup.

"No problem Luna, it's my pleasure to take care of this little cutie. Would you like to clean him one last time? And please, just call me Hitomi."

If you wouldn't mind. And If you insist. Luna said while she started licking all the nooks and crannies of the pup.

Luffy, finally woke up and was about to yell when Hitomi put a hand over his mouth. She then transferred all her memories to him and it explained everything.

Here you go Hitomi, by the way, I will probably be dead by tomorrow morning. Luna said while giving her pup to Hitomi while leading the group out to the front of the cave.

"Thank you Luna, I will be at this cave and will give you a proper burial as soon as I can."

Thank you Hitomi I could never show how much I appreciate what you are doing. Luna said while bowing her head in respect.

"No need, no need. Like I said it's my pleasure."

No really-

"Ok, let's just say we have a truce."

Luna smiled, Ok Hitomi.

Hitomi smiled back and then noticed Luffy having such a confused face, "I'll be going now, but I hope the next time we meet is not too soon."

And I hope I don't meet my son too soon either.

Hitomi smiled, "I'll see you someday Luna, and when I do meet you, I hope we get to know each other better."

Me too Hitomi. Me too.

"Bye for now Luna."

Bye. Luna said while retreating back to her cave.

Hitomi carried the pup and led Luffy out of the forest and into the house.

"What was that???" Luffy asked very confused.

"Well, as you know, I can talk to animals, she is going to die soon and she asked me to take care of her pup. The conversation that you saw was just me and her saying our farewells." Hitomi explained while giving some meat to the pup.

"By the way, where did Ace and Sabo go?" Hitomi asked while looking around.

"Oh, they went to hunt for some food." Luffy said nonchalantly while munching on some meat.

Time Skip because I want to get to the promise

It was two years after Ace left and Sabo has already died.

Luffy and Hitomi were standing side by side at the top of the cliff, "Hey Hitomi, you will come with me to venture the world and become Pirate King right?"

"Of course I would Luffy. Why would you ask?" Hitomi asked tilting her head in confusion.

"Nothing, just making sure." Luffy said with his big grin, "Hey, when I do become Pirate King, will you be my Pirate Queen?"

Hitomi blushed, "Why would you ask that?"

"I dunno, I just had this funny feeling in my stomach and my face would heat up whenever I'm around you. I asked Makino what it meant and she said that I was in love with you. I asked her what that means and she told me that love means that you want to be with a person for the rest of your life and that you would do anything for that person."

Hitomi blushed harder, "I feel the same when I'm with you. Does that mean that I'm in love with you?"

Luffy had a hint of pink on his cheek, "I guess... Anyways, so, will you be my Pirate Queen?"

Hitomi smiled at Luffy, "Sure, as long as you promise me that if we are ever separated, we will find each other someday."

Luffy looked at her seriously, "I would search the end of the world for you Hitomi."

Hitomi had a small smile on her face, "And I you..."

Alpha barked to remind them that he was here.

Time Skip

Luffy and Hitomi's boat broke, they were separated.

"HITOMI!!!"

"LUFFY!!!"

I'm so sorry the ending seems so rushed. I couldn't really think of anything, plus it's pretty late where I am so. Oh well, at least this chapter is long.
