3. It's All Gone
Lei's POV
Images flash through my head from last night. Lights, so many lights, sweating against other sweaty strangers while we dance our asses off, pictures with half naked men, free drinks and a limo back to the hotel. But that's not even the best part. Hoodie guy tops it all, he has taken over my thoughts since last night and I cannot get him out of my head.
Hoodie guy...I wonder who he is. I know I only saw him for a minute but goddamn it wasn't just how he looked it was his vibe. He put a spell on me in a matter of seconds. The sad part is, I'll never see him again and he will forever be a fragment of my memory. But who doesn't love fantasizing about a mystery hot guy? I wouldn't mind living with him. But that would never happen, Lei. So keep on dreaming.
The light behind my closed eyelids begins to be annoying so I take it as a sign to get up. I hold my head in my hands and groan loudly which only makes my headache worse. I sit up slowly and feel an overwhelming feeling. I run to the bathroom and all the contents in my stomach from last night fall into the toilet.
I will never drink again.
Okay, that's a lie.
Alexandria bursts into the bathroom and turns on the lights. My head screams at the sudden exposure and I groan, putting my head in my hands, sending a little prayer to God.
"Sorry, here's some advil." She whispers as quietly as possible. I nod a thanks to her and take the pill and water and down it. Just the thought of the medicine helping makes my headache lessen.
I get up from my uncomfortable crouched position next to the toilet and then I decide to stumble back into the room. I fall into the warm, clean, white, comfortable bed and sigh. I love beds with all of my heart. Maybe I should just sleep all day... sounds productive to me. Alexandria jumps next to me on the bed.
"Regret anything?" She asks, well I don't really remember much. I remember getting to Fremont Street and getting some drinks. I remember dancing with random people, everything is a big blur, bundling together into a few drinks here and there.
"I don't know. I don't remember doing anything stupid. Did I do anything stupid?" I question turning onto my back.
Damn. This bed is amazing. I really think staying here until I'm rich and famous is a good idea. But how would I become rich and famous? Well duh everyone would want to be me because sleeping is my career and they'll admire me so much they'll just send me money. I'm a fucking genius.
"Hellooo, Lei?" Alex pokes my cheek and I realize I haven't been listening to anything she's been saying.
"Sorry, I was thinking about how I'm going to become rich and famous."
She laughs at me before responding to my prior question. "I don't think you did anything really unreasonable last night, the craziest thing was you taking a picture of yourself kissing a nearly naked man."
"Was he hot?"
"Yes"
"Good, I want to see that picture."
"Oh my lord, Lei. Stop focusing on the hot guys, you need to get ready. We're going out to eat at the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesar's." She says and grabs my bed covers, which are wrapped around me and yanks them away. Her actions send me tumbling off of the warm bed and onto the clean, hardwood floor.
"Shit." She covers her hand with her mouth to contain her laughter while I send her my best death glare while rubbing my ass.
She keeps laughing until she falls down next to me and I bop her head which causes her to laugh more until her face gets red and I can see tears in her eyes.
"OK, please, shut up. It was not that funny, my buttocks really hurts." I say as I stand up and pat my butt. She stops laughing for a second and stands up. I think she's done laughing but no. She starts laughing again. I throw a pillow at her, which she easily dodges. I glare at her before turning to go to the bathroom to get ready.
"Okay, shut up, let's get ready to go before you end up dying from laughing." I holler at her before shutting the bathroom door, shaking my head at the sound of her laughter.
It wasn't THAT funny.

We are in the line for the buffet. The ropes keeping us in line are red velvet, they wrap around like we're waiting in line for a really fancy roller coaster. Above us is a huge crystal chandelier and the ceiling is a slatted mirror type of material, I can see my reflection in it.
I take a step forward and I look away from the ceiling to see that we're next in line. Thank God. I am so hungry right now I could eat a cow. Okay, maybe not a literal cow but maybe a smaller animal like a goat. No that's too small. What's an animal that's smaller than a cow but bigger than a goat. Oh how abo-
"Next in line, right over here!" A cute petite girl calls us.
"Four adults, please." Izzy asks her sweetly. The girl nods at us before typing something on her computer.
"Okay so four adults for brunch, your total is $259.15." She says looking back up at us.
"I got you guys." says Riley, handing the girl her card.
"Ri-" Izzy starts to say before she's cut off by Riley, who throws her hand against Izzy's mouth. "No if, and, or, buts," Riley commands, "think of it as a wedding gift."
"Fine." Izzy huffs, tugging Riley's hand off of her face. She smiles at Riley and gives her a hug.
The girl hands Riley back her card and we are led to a table near the buffet. Everything is clean, white and shining. The chairs are light grey and have a cube shape to them which follows along with the rest of the decor. Everything is minimalistic and still it all shouts that you are eating at a really freaking fancy and if the buffet doesn't say that, then the price does.
"It's not my wedding," I say reaching into my purse, "let me pay you back, Riley." She shakes her head at me, refusing my request. "Are you sure?" I ask as I open my wallet and look for my cash. "I'm 100%, Lei, now let's go get some food." But I am frozen to the spot staring at my purse.
"What's wrong?" Riley asks in a concerned voice.
"All my cash, It's gone."
