Summary: A quick look into Castiel's childhood and before he enter's college.

Warning's: Mentions of abuse and drinking.

  Background: His name is Castiel Novak, he was born into a poor family. His father Chuck, was a single father, he had 5 other children; Michael (the oldest and the calm one), Luci (the second oldest the rebel), Raphael (the third oldest and most bossy), Gabriel (the second youngest and likes to trick people), then finally Castiel, the youngest child. His life wasn't easy at all, after Castiel was born their mother left all the kids with Chuck and divorced him. Chuck cried for weeks, he started blaming Luci since he never listened to either parent. Chuck would drink his sorrows away every night and beat luci. Castiel and his brother's heard his screams every night. One morning Chuck went to check the mail, he saw a light pink envelope labeled as "Kids", he opened it up and saw in invitation from their mother, to her wedding. He went back inside and started yelling, he told all the kids to get in the living room. He dragged Luci to the middle of the living room tossed him on the ground. He beat him and made his other children watch. That night Luci packed up his stuff and left for good, promising Cas and Gabe to see them again. When they awoke the next morning their Dad didn't ask where he went, he just made Raphael take them to school. 

    With that being said, he never saw his brother for a very long time. Castiel had finally finished high school with straight A's and went to American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles to pursue his dream to model. He never told his father, or his brother's that he wanted to model for fear to be called a queer, one things he always was scared of. Cas didn't know if he was straight or not, he'd never seen a girl he liked like that, or a boy really. So he kept this a secret, never telling any of his family. 

   When he applied for the college he never expected the get a letter back from them, but sure enough one morning he went out to get the mail and there was his acceptance letter. He opened his letter and read the requirements, 'must work out to maintain form to model'. And so he did, he went early every morning for a few months before he had to officially start. He worked out early every morning and late every night.
