It had been a full year since the Pines twins left Gravity Falls. We had kept in touch and would call each other on most days.

I would spent my days flying around and hanging with anyone. If I wasn't popular before, I sure was now!

But honestly? I really did miss Dipper, Mabel, Ford, and even Stan.

The good news was: they were coming back this summer! And the town was setting up a festival for their arrival in town.

And I was SUPER exited!!!!!!!!

The day had finally come, and I was in the attic (I now slept on Mabel's old bed) getting dressed, Wendy, Candy, and Grenda helping me get ready.

Candy and Grenda: *rummaging in your closet*

You and Wendy: ... *exchange a confused glance*

Candy: *pulls out a short (least/f/c) dress* What about this one?

Wendy: *cringes*

You: Forgot to throw that out...

Grenda: *pulls out a leather jacket and some ripped jeans* These are fierce! 

You: Yeah, too fierce for this occasion.

Grenda: There's no such thing as too fierce!!! Hmph!!!

You: *roll your eyes*

Wendy: Dude, just wear your usual outfit.

You: Mm... maybe... or... I can add some adjustments! *grab your usual clothes and some extra things before locking yourself in the closet*

Candy, Grenda, and Wendy: ?????

You: *after a few minutes, come out wearing a cute outfit*

Candy and Grenda: *squeal*

Candy: It's perfect!!!

Wendy: Nice, man!

Grenda: You look awesome!!!

You: *roll your eyes with a smile* Thanks.

Wendy: *checks her phone* Uh oh. Guys, we better get going!

They all exited, and as I was about to leave, I remembered something. I went back and got Dipper's hat before following the others.

We make our way to town. The whole thing was completely packed!!! Luckily for me, I had access to backstage since I was the one who would lead the twins up to the spotlight.

And to be honest, I was really nervous...

You: Ok ok ok, just breathe in, and breathe out. Breathe in, and breathe out. You'll be fine. It's not that hard. You are just seeing them since a full year, but it's no biggie...!

???: Wow, haven't seen you this nervous in a long while!

You: Well what do you expect?!? I'm suppose to-!!! *turn around and see who it is, your eyes widening* ...

Dipper: *smiles warmly* Hey...!

You: *mutter* Oh my fireball... Oh my fireball!!! *hug him tightly* You're back!!!

Dipper: *laughs and hugs you back*

We stayed like that for a few minutes, but it felt like forever. And I didn't mind it one bit. Unfortunately, we pulled away, smiles on our faces. But the moment was cut short when I was suddenly tackled to the ground by a familiar face.

Mabel: (Y/N)!!!!!!!! OH MY GOSH, IT'S BEEN FOREVER!!!!!!!!! I MISSED YOU SO MUUUUUUUUUUUUUCH!!!

You: I missed you too!!!!!

Mabel: *pulls away*

Dipper: *sees his hat on you* You kept it!

You: *reach inside his hoodie and pull out the dark blue journal* So did you!

You and Dipper: *smile warmly at each other*

Mabel: *giggles*

You: Oh!!! Now that you're finally here, we can get the celebration going!!!

Dipper and Mabel: Celebration?!?

You: Just follow me!

I went up the the side of the stage behind the curtain, the twins behind me. I told then to stay there and wait for my signal, and I went to the stage.

You: Hello people of Gravity Falls!!!!!!

Audience: *cheer*

You: So we all remember the horrifying moments we went through last summer. And we've gotten a long way since then, haven't we?!?!?

Audience: *cheer again*

You: And ever since then, we've been waiting for the two other heroes that saved Gravity Falls from all the chaos!!! They have finally returned!!! Please welcome: Dipper and Mabel Pines!!!

Audience: *cheer even louder*

You: *nod at the twins for them to walk over*

Dipper and Mabel: *walk over to you, Dipper with an awkward smile and Mabel excited*

Audience: Pines!!! Pines!!! Pines!!! Pines!!! Pines!!!

Mabel: HI EVERYONE!!!

Dipper: Whoa....! Did you do this...?!?

You: We all did, but I didn't really do much. It was the town's idea. Pacifica managed to regain all her fortune and helped fund the whole thing.

Pacifica: *walks in* That is correct!

Dipper: *confused af*

Mabel: AWW, PACIFICA!!! *hugs her tightly* THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Pacifica: !!! Ugh... yay, hugging...

You: *snort holding a laugh*

Dipper: *snickers*

Wendy: *walks over* And this isn't even the best part! We have a whole festival prepared in your honor!

You: I was suppose to say that!

Wendy: *ruffles Dipper and Mabel's hair* Hey, you two, good to see you again!

Dipper: You too!

Mabel: IT'S AMAZING TO SEE YOU ALL!!!

Soos: *walks over with Melody* And they're not the only guests today!!!

Stan and Ford: *walk over*

Mabel: GREAT UNCLES STAN AND FORD!!!!!!!!!!

Dipper and Mabel: *run and hug them*

Ford: Heya, kids!

Stan: Oi, how I didn't miss you.

Mabel: *elbows Stan harshly*

Stan: *chuckles* Ok ok, I did miss you knuckleheads too.

You: ANYways, now that greetings are over-

Pacifica: Over?!? You and Dipper haven't even kissed yet!!!

You: Eh?

Dipper: *turns beat red* !!!!!

Mabel: YOU'RE RIGHT, PAZ!!! You two haven't seen each other in person for a whole YEAR!!! I EXPECT a KISS!!!

Audience: KISS!!! KISS!!! KISS!!!

Dipper: *crimson red, as Mabel pushes him closer to you* Uh- uh- uh- uh- uh- uh-

You: *smirk* So~?

Dipper: Well- I- Um- That- You- I-If you-

You: *roll your eyes* Just shut up. *grab his shirt by the color and yanking him closer, crashing your lips against his*

Dipper: *turns even darker* !!!!!!! ... *kisses you back*

Audience: *cheers loudly*

You: *pull away with a smirk* There, you're quiet now.

Dipper: *somehow turns even darker* ...

You: NOW that greeting are all over, LET THE FESTIVAL BEGIN!!!

Audience: YEAH!!!

They day went by too fast, but it was so much fun!

What a great way to start the summer, can't wait to see what new adventures come our way.

I'm thinking of doing a sequel for this one, but I'm not entirely sure.

While I think about it, I'm already planning on doing ANOTHER Dippy x Reader that takes place during the time line (DONT JUDGE ME THEYRE FUN TO WRITE)

For the first time in forever, Dipper and Mabel Pines have been sent to Gravity Falls to live with their great uncle. A weird old man who owns a tourist trap. He seemed strange.

One of the workers is a large young funny guy who seemed to be in his college year. He seemed ok.

Another was a red-headed laid back teen. She seemed cool.

"Yeah, this was gonna be a boring summer..." thought Dipper.

Until he met the last co-worker, and his life took a turn...

So what do you think? If all goes well, the first episode should be out by tomorrow!
