The next day~

Sora's POV

I watched as Yona and Captain Gigan introduced each other and Captain Gigan testing their skills. Seems like Yun can pretty much do the same as me, cook, heal wounds, etc.

Since Yona couldn't think of anything she could do, Captain Gigan told her to go and pick the Senjusou (herb). I was shocked about this. I don't want my sister climbing that dangerous cliff (?).

"Captain Gigan! I object this task! It's too dangerous! Let her do something else!" I yelled in protest but Jaeha held me back from charging up. "Let go!" I yelled again.

"Sora, I want to do this. I'll be able to prove myself useful." Yona said with a warm smile which somewhat calmed me a little.

"Fine, but if I see you in danger, I'll help you no matter what you say!" I exclaimed. I was really worried about my sister. I don't want to lose my last family member.

I nervously watched as Yona went climbing down the small edge to get down to the Senjusou. I hope she doesn't fall. Jaeha followed after her. I went over, next to Hak.

"Hak, do you really think this is a good idea?" I asked him as I looked at his fierce expression.

"Even if we try to stop her as much as we can, she'll still go." He said as I sighed. I expected as much. Yona almost fell off multiple times and I was getting more and more scared by the minute.

When we went back to the ship, I was kind of shaking from fear of losing the last member of my family and become alone again. I then felt myself being pulled into a warm embrace that calmed me.

I looked up to see Hak holding me in his arms, I slightly blushed but didn't say anything since I really need the hug. I continue to wait for Yona and Jaeha to come back as I clenched harder on Hak's robe the longer the time goes.

"What wrong, Captain?" A member of the pirate crew asked.

"The sea has become rough. At this rate, the girl will be in trouble if she doesn't hurry up." Captain Gigan replied to the man's question.

I panicked about that and felt a change in my body.

Author's POV

Sora subconsciously turned into a Phoenix and flew over to where Yona was, surprising and shocking everyone was saw this.

Sora made it just in time to see Yona about to fall and Jaeha about to catch her. Sora flew underneath them and caught Yona along with Jaeha. They seemed shocked as well but Yona looked a little mesmerized but the Phoenix she was on. A nostalgic feeling was in her every though she knew it was Sora.

They were fly in the sky towards the ship, many of the townspeople could see the Phoenix flying up in the air.

Sora flew next to the ship and Jaeha and Yona got off with everyone still stunned. Sora turned back into her normal self and was full of shocked.

Sora's POV

I changed back into my regular and am in the state of shock. I don't know what happened to myself, I didn't know I could do that.

'It seems like you are able to manage to merge into one with me. It something the reincarnations of the Phoenix could do but is really rare for it to happen since you need to pass a certain test. So because you are able to, you can do it again in your own will. ' The Phoenix inside me explained.

'Oh so that's why...' Sora came out of the state of shock but seems her companions didn't. I guess I had a lot of explaining to do.
