Backstage, Patty was watching people work while singing to herself. Around her, the stagehands put up the set for Loki's performance. Also, backstage, Sylvie, (Y/N) and Natasha were waiting to see what Loki's choice would be.

'Will he sing? Will he flee? What is he thinking now? Is it her? Is it me? Devil take the hindmost,' Sylvie said

Sylvie and (Y/N) stayed singing over each other.

'Will he stay? Will he go? Does he know even know? Please Loki, stop the show.'

'Obey your heart and sing for me. You want it so. Stay and be mine eternally.'

'Devil take the hindmost,' they said, 'Now it's time so, make your choice. Do it for our girl.'

'Use your head,' (Y/N) said

'No time to wait,' Sylvie said

'Hesitate, we're all undone.'

Now it was Natasha's turn to join them.

'Perhaps he won't go on, perhaps he'll lose his nerve, perhaps his voice won't serve and he will fail her now. And then Bucky and I will get what we deserve.'

'Will he stay? Will he go? Does he know even know? Please Loki, stop the show.'

'Obey your heart and sing for me and sing for me. You, me, the child eternally.'

'Devil take the hindmost,' all three said.

Sylvie walked to the left side of the stage while (Y/N) went to the right and Natasha met (Y/N) there.

'Perhaps he won't go on, perhaps he'll lose his nerve, perhaps his voice won't serve and he will fail her now. And then Bucky and I will get what we deserve.'

'Will he stay? Will he go? Does he know even know? Please Loki, stop the show.'

'Obey your heart and sing for me and sing for me. You, me, the child eternally.'

'Devil take the hindmost,' all three said, 'Now it's time, no turning back. All is on the line. Here it is, the final dance. One last chance to get what's mine.'

Natasha spoke to (Y/N) from behind, "I hope Loki is worthy of you. I hope his singing makes up for what your blindness has done to Bucky and me," and left.

Bucky found Patty and told her to follow him.

And now the show will begin. What will happen? Who will he choose? The music began and the curtain rose. There he was, Loki, ready to sing. He made his choice. But he still had a while yet to make any last-minute decisions. But when the time came to sing, he didn't hesitate. He sang. He has chosen. He chose (Y/N). He knew his decision a long time ago and he won't back down from it this time.

He does love Sylvie, just not as much as he used to. He loves (Y/N). Seeing his final decision, Sylvie left to get on the boat. She's accepted defeat, at last. Now that Sylvie was gone, Loki started belting out the song feeling better about his choice. When the show was over, Loki went back to his dressing room where (Y/N) met him.

'Ah, Loki, my Loki, what a triumph you gave me tonight,' (Y/N) said smiling, 'My Loki, all the dark silent years now set right, ah Loki.'

'The song was beautiful, it sounded beautiful. Every note, every word and it felt beautiful, and I felt beautiful,' Loki said smiling at (Y/N)

'Lost in the music once more. Feeling it rise up and soar. Alive once again!' they sang smiling.

Loki pulled her into a kiss which (Y/N) instantly returned. She's been so deprived of the feeling of Loki's love so she couldn't resist this. Loki was once afraid to admit it but he missed being by (Y/N)'s side. Angel of Music or not, he wants to stay with her forever. When they pulled away, Loki noticed something on the desk. A letter. Loki opened it and read it out loud.

"My dearest husband..." Loki began

'Little Lotte, I beg you, forgive me,' we go back to when Sylvie was writing it.

"Sylvie, no!"

'Little Lotte, ah, what fools we once were.'

'Long ago in our youth,' Loki and Sylvie said

'In Paris, at the opera,' Loki read

"Romantic idiots..." Sylvie wrote

"Those two people are gone."

'Now I must go, our choices are made. The opera is done; the last notes have been played.'

'May your angel of music watch over you now and give you what I wish I gave you somehow. Yours, in regret..."

"Sylvie," Loki finished reading.

This was all very sudden. Loki knew full well that he broke Sylvie's heart but he never expected a letter saying all this. But that wasn't the end of Loki's problems. He noticed a certain someone was missing. Patty!

"Patty..." Loki said realizing she was gone

"What is it?" (Y/N) asked

"Patty."

"What's wrong?"

"Patty!"

"What's wrong?!"

"She should be here, she was meant to be here!" Loki finally said.

'It's that idiot Sylvie! Why I'll kill that drunken fool!' (Y/N) left the room, 'That she dare take this child. A child that isn't hers! Hulk!"

"Miss?" Hulk asked

'Seal the port, blockade each road! Call in every favour that I'm owed. I'll be damned if she leaves this isle!' (Y/N) ordered.

'Mrs Lushton left here in a carriage. Saw with my own eyes, Miss. There was no one with her.'

'Are you quite certain she left here alone?'

'Miss, was there anyone else here backstage?'

(Y/N) thought for a moment, 'Yes. Yes... Madame Romanoff, she was here, with her vicious little sneer. And that comment she made. The ungrateful back-biting snake! She's been greedy, yes indeed. She'll get hers now guaranteed! Go now, quickly, bring her round!' Hulk ran off, 'Bring the girl safe and sound, then I'll tear her limb from limb!'

(Y/N) was not happy with Natasha. But she didn't do anything, that's the problem. But (Y/N) didn't know this. Vision and Hulk brought her in.

"What is the meaning of this? How dare your minions manhandle me in this fashion? I demand an answer," Natasha said.

"The girl woman! What have you done with her?" (Y/N) asked her

"The girl, you think I took the girl? Why would I do such a thing? Do you think I don't know who she is? All these years, who has been more faithful more than I? No one!'

"Romanoff!"

'All these years, how can you think I'd hurt that child?'

"My patience is running dry!"

'All these years, I've been mother to you and Loki as much as Bucky!'

"Enough!"

'Do you think I don't know it hurts to see one's own child brought to harm?'

"Patty, Patty, Patty!" (Y/N) shouted at the top of her lungs.

(Y/N) just wanted Patty back safe and Natasha isn't helping! Gamora walked up to the group.

"Miss!" Gamora said gaining (Y/N)'s attention, 'I just passed Bucky's dressing room, it was silent as a tune but his mirror was smashed all in pieces on the floor.'

"Bucky?" (Y/N) asked.

"My God," Natasha said realizing what she's caused Bucky to do.

'Then I saw him down the hall, pulling someone pale and small and he looked all about and then scurried out the door,' Gamore told (Y/N).

'God I left him so distraught. Please, who knows just what he thought,' Natasha said, 'I'm afraid he's come undone but he won't hurt her. Bucky would never hurt her. How could he hurt her?'

(Y/N) started to think where Bucky would be. She thought back to this morning. Bucky goes for a swim near Suicide Hall. What if he's taking Patty to... Oh no!

"I know where they've gone," (Y/N) told them, "but we must hurry!"

"In that crowd?" Natasha asked, "there are millions of people out there!"

"Patty... my poor Patty!" Loki said in worry.

"There's no time to waste!" (Y/N) said heading out of Phantasma.

They all ran out of Phantasma. They had to find Bucky and Patty, now!
