q & a

Hi there lovelies!  💕

This part is dedicated to questions you have and most of which I will not be able to answer throughout the story, so I'm answering and clarifying most of them now.

Before I start, please do remember that I am not a perfect writer although I wish to be so, I am especially lacking in mentioning important details.

Most of the time, these thoughts come to mind when I am on my bed and about to go to sleep and don't write them down and so when I do write them down the next day, everything in my head makes perfect sense and I forget that some things has not happened yet. So in advance, I apologize.

If you have any follow-up questions regarding the plot that need to be clarified or answered, I will try my best to answer them in the comments 😊

let's start!

Why didn't Archer simply reject Hazel when he had Jessica?

I've been seeing this question a lot and the simple answer is that he obviously does not want to reject his mate. And he didn't have Jessica, yes he loved her and was in a relationship with her before, but as soon as he turned 18 and felt no bond to her, he already wanted to stop. He loved her at that time and believed she was his mate, but as soon as he found out she wasn't, he stopped and waited for his mate. From that point on, he only considered Jessica as his friend.

Why did Archer keep Jessica around even after finding out that she isn't his mate?

A lot of people are probably going to disagree, but look here guys, just because you stop being with someone romantically doesn't mean that you also stop being friends with them, especially if you grew up with them and they have dangerous self issues.

Archer literally grew up with Jessica, her parents died because of him, things didn't work out with Jessica and Raymon because there was the Archer variant which Archer feels guilty for. Jessica has issues and the only one she trusted was Archer. For her, Archer was the what helped her stay afloat and he knew that. Of course he didn't like it that she was always with him, but he had no choice, he feared what she would do to herself if he hadn't been there.

In short, he didn't want to kick her while she was already down.

Why is Jessica still number one to Archer?

Again, no, Jessica is not number one to Archer. He was there for a friend in need. Is that wrong? No it's not.

Did it hurt Hazel? Yes, it did, but as she observed Jessica, she came to understand that Jessica was in a dark place that needed help and knowing how kind Hazel is, she again, was understanding towards her situation.

Did Jessica come back to the pack with Raymond?

No, she stayed in Raymond's pack.

Why does Raymond/ Raymond's pack need something in return?

If you read back, Raymond isn't the one that was asking for something in return, it was the leaders in Raymond's pack. Raymond already took her back without needing anything. But Raymond is a Beta's son and Jessica's rejection has caused damage to their reputation and to Raymond himself and they were being greedy in having to ask compensation for that although Luna Flumine has no obligation to compensate them for anything. It's just the way greedy people are.

Are Archer and Jessica's parents at fault for Archer and Jessica's relationship?

No one is at fault that Jessica and Archer fell in love with each other, people fall in love for people they're not supposed to, it happens. Although, to a certain extent, instilling in them that they are mates and fully supporting that although they were the adults and should've known better, they should have advised them not to be so sure of themselves until they turned 18.

Will Jessica ever truly show her remorse towards her interference in Hazel and Archer's relationship?

More to come ☺️

What is the exact reason for the miscarriage? Whose fault is it exactly?

There is no one at fault for Hazel's miscarriage and most of the time, there is no clear indication of what really causes a miscarriage, but Hazel's miscarriage will be explained briefly in the future.

What I wanted to clarify, though, is that, no one was at fault. Miscarriages happen more often than you might think which is extremely sad and most of the time, women blame themselves for something totally out of their control.

These women who are already grieving, will place the blame on themselves and think that they are terrible, when in truth, it isn't their fault. I've read some of the readers who did have a miscarriage and my heart goes out to all of you 💔.

It's a delicate subject and I hope I did not discredit your pain in any way and if I have, I deeply apologize and please shoot me a message so I can try to change some things that are inaccurate.

Why did nobody, including Frances, notice that Hazel was pregnant?

If you remember in TABTO, Lunas are usually very sensitive to pregnancies and they are the first ones to know if someone is carrying a child, but in this case Frances, a pack doctor didn't notice anything and Hazel herself was unsure. This indicated that there was already something wrong and if both of these women didn't pinpoint it, others wouldn't also.

Why doesn't Archer feel the pain when Hazel had a miscarriage?

Because of the distance. If you remember, before he left, he could feel her pain and he noticed she wasn't feeling well. When Hannah's baby was in danger, Ian felt it because they were in the same place.

Also, if you remember when Hannah was running away and got hurt, Ian only started to feel her pain as he got closer to her. Also when Maddie got into a fight with Finn, Chase didn't feel her pain because she was far away.

The only exception to this is Cassian and Stella who seem to always be feeling each other's pain and dream about each other even if they haven't met each other yet. (wink wink)

Why didn't Archer go back the moment Hazel ended the call?

Because he didn't know what the problem was, he didn't listen and quite frankly, Hazel didn't tell him. He knew it must've been something important for her to call him, but he thought it was something that could be put off for just a little while. He was finishing dealing with Raymond's pack and he just needed to finish just that one meeting and be able to return and thought it was a reasonable idea.

Why does Archer put others before himself and Hazel?

Archer is an Alpha's child who was always destined to be the next Alpha. He was raised to put his duty before anything which he did too perfectly.

Did it ever occur to Archer to reject Hazel when he met her?

No.

Why doesn't Archer show how he feels?

This also comes into the way he was raised, Archer's father is a strict man. Their pack has a history of being strong and powerful and he was raised to be just that. He didn't exactly learn how to show his emotions, and if he did, his father would have reprimanded him for it.

When it comes to showing how he feels for Hazel, he has a different love language. Not all people are capable of showing their love and showering their loved one with compliments and kisses and hugs and rainbows and flowers.

Suzy also talks about this in the chapter 'suzy's intervention'

Are Archer's parents part of the Council?

Archer's father is part of the Council.

Are the Council involved with the Strays?

To some extent, this is more seen in Queen of the Rogues and will be seen more in the future.

Why was Hazel angry at the pack?

Because she was hurt, she was grieving, she was angry. She wasn't just angry at the pack, she was angry at her parents, at Archer, herself, everyone and everything. And if I were in the same situation as her, heck I would be too.

How does mind link work in my stories?

Well, I would say it's like in other stories, but they don't use it often..? Cause if else, all they'll be doing is mind linking each other lol.

Everything is Archer's fault?

No. Archer was at fault and had a lot of shortcomings, a huge yes. But Archer realizes his mistake and tries to work on them. In their own ways, both Archer and Hazel are at fault-- Archer for failing in his priorities and Hazel in failing to communicate.

BUT then again, these all happened under exceptional circumstances and they were both so hurt to the point that all they saw was that-- the hurt. They both were at fault, but their situations also didn't let them improve until things spiralled out of control.

I see everyone's comments on who is at fault and who isn't and I find them really interesting! But I would also encourage you to step out of the box of "who is at fault" and see things in a new light because we all have our own faults and when placed in an exceptional circumstances, our worst comes out whether we like it or not.

Will Archer accept Hazel's rejection?

I haven't read a lot of rejections stories and it's my first time hearing acceptance of a rejection? But in my story, a person is not obligated to accept a rejection, you cannot force a person to stay if they want to go.

Will there be a happy ending?

☺️
