Zak- Ashley...Will you marry me?

I stood frozen. I was in shock!

Me- What?

Zak- Will you marry me?

I stood with my mouth wide open and in complete shock.

Me- Ye-YES! YES! I will marry you!

I finally answered with tears streaming down my face. Zak placed the beautiful ring on my finger and stood up.

Me- Oh my gosh baby!

I was smiling and crying. I didn't know what to say or do! I was happy and still shocked.

Zak- Did I do a good job on the ring?

Me- Yes babe! I love it! It's so beautiful!

I smiled and looked at Zak. His beautiful smile lit up on his face. I kissed him.

Me- I love you so much baby.

Zak- I love you more babe.

I looked down at the beautiful diamond on my finger. I can't believe that I am finally engaged to the love of my life! I've been waiting for this day for years!

Me- What took you so long to ask me?

Zak- Well, I wanted to make sure we were in a good place in our lives, and that you would be ready to take on the challenge of being with me for the rest of your life.

I laughed.

Me- I'm so excited. We have a lot to plan.

I grinned and looked at Zak.

Zak- YOU have a lot to plan.

Me- You have to help.

Zak- Ok, fine.

We smiled. I turned back to my parents house and had forgot we were still here.

Me- Oh my gosh! I forgot we were still at mom and dads! Who knows??

Zak laughed.

Zak- Your dad knows of course because I asked for his permission like a gentlemen should always do, and Nick.

Me- Ok. Well... Should we head back in?

I smiled and reached for his hand. He took it, and we walked back into the house. I had a huge smile on my face. When we walked into the house; everyone started cheering.

Mom- CONGRATS MY BEAUTIFUL BABYGIRL!!

She ran over and gave me a hug.

Mom- We were watching the whole time!

I laughed. Sounds a lot like my family.

Me- I'm so excited!

Veronique- Let me see the ring!

I put out my hand to let everybody see the ring.

Veronique- OH MY GOSH! IT'S GORGEOUS!!

Me- I KNOW RIGHT!

We all laughed and talked for the rest of the night. This was the best Christmas ever! I am now on the road to officially becoming Mrs. Bagans! There is so much to plan!
