Courtney's pov
I woke up with aloud noise coming from downstairs. I got out of bed to see what the noise was.

I was barely awake, I ran down stairs and saw the blender going at full speed and my mom turned around jamming out to her music.

I ran to the counter and turned the blender off. She turned around and dropped an earbud out of her ear.

"Mom what are you doing?" I asked, "sorry Courtney I woke you" she said.

I looked at the clock, it was 8:43. I glared at her. "I'm going to start getting into shape" she said.

I raised an eyebrow, "mom you already in shape" I said. She rolled her eyes "you should make yourself one of these and come with me on a run" she said.

I took the top off the blender and smelled the smoothie. "Ew mom what did you put in this, a dead cat?" I asked.

"It's called protein" she said, I thought about going with her "okay fine but I'm making my own smoothie."

I grabbed some fruit, yogurt, bananas, milk, egg, and honey. I blended the ingredients and drank my smoothie.

I went up stairs and threw on gray tight work out leggings. I put on a black sports bra and a blue tight tank top.

I put my hair up in a sort of high pony tail and grabbed my ear buds.

My mom was waiting for me at the door while I slipped on my Nikes.

I put on some good music and we started to walk. Then a mile later we ran and we ran all the way to Starbucks to get a coffee.

I sat down with my coffee and waited for my mom. She sat down and took a sip of your coffee.

"So...about California.." She started. I looked at her "honey I'm just saying you would really like it there and you need to give your father a chance" she said.

I nodded and finished my coffee.

Before running back home I texted Ashley and Britney to come over in an hour. I had to tell them.

I couldn't tell Sam, not yet. I can't even think about leaving him and I don't want to.

When I got home I took a shower and blow dried my hair.

I braided my hair into a fish tail and out on a black spaghetti strap shirt that was sort of like a crop top.

I put on some faded Jean shorts and some converse.

I heard the door bell and I went downstairs. I let Ashley and Britney in. We went upstairs and sat on my bed.

"So what did you want to tell us?" They asked.

" My dad's in town" I said, "and...he...wants me to move to California" I said.

"What?" Ashley said, "are you going to go?" Britney asked. "I don't know" I said, "I don't want to leave but..." I said.

"You want to spend time with your dad" Ashley said. "Court we get it, and so what if you move to Cali we will always be best friends" Ashley said. I smiled and so did Britney.

Later my mom got Chinese food for me and she had a weird healthy food.

I kept thinking more about going with my dad but how am I going to tell Sam?
