2. Truth or Dare goes wild
A/N: The Bachelor is a real TV program, so the rights for that go to the producers of that show. Also, any hate in the show that I write is not real. I also don't know how the show works, so let's just pretend that this is a whole new show.
Annabeth's POV
"Truth or Dare... Thalia?" my best friend Piper McLean asks my best friend Thalia Grace.
"Dare," Thalia says, scoffing at the thought of picking the 'wimpy option'.
As there is such a big group of people playing, I'm hoping that no one notices my lack of participation, and open my glorious hard back copy of Catching Fire. I look up briefly, and everyone else is too immersed in Piper giving some bloke a lap dance.
So I read my book. While I've been messing with the weapons, Peeta's been squatting on the ground, drawing with the tip of his knife on a large... "Truth of dare, Annabeth?"
I look up from my book to glare at Hazel. "Let me finish the chapter?"
"You've read that book twelve times, Annabeth, I'm pretty sure you can get over it."
Internally, I scream, NOOOOOOOO, but I just shrug. "Okay, dare."
Hazel thinks for a moment. "I want you to send an application for The Bachelor. You have to pretend that you actually want in though. Don't tell them that your name is Ben Dover and you work for a Toilet Making Factory."
I practically choke at Hazel's ludicrous suggestion. Try out for The Bachelor? Wait, what's The Bachelor? "I don't even know what The Bachelor is."
"Annabeth doesn't know what something is?" Everyone ignores Thalia.
"The Bachelor is a TV show," Hazel explains. "One guy, a tonne of girls, and it's basically him finding true love."
I'm choking. On air. What the Hades? "You want me to go on a love documentary?"
"Love documentary," Thalia snorts.
"Pretty much," Hazel says with an impish grin. "Although the dare is for you to send in an application, I'm sure that tonne's of girls will and you're unlikely to be chosen."
"This sucks," I mutter. Hey, my brain reminds me, at least you're not hooking up with some creep!
"I hate you," I tell Hazel.
"No you don't," she says truthfully. Hazel was too cute.
I open my book and simultaneously ask the infamous question, Truth or Dare?
A/N: Short and sorta irrelevant, but hey, I updated! Cheers to that. Next two are gonna have a little more, before the real BOOM CHACKA PERCABETH!
Consider reading my other stories also. A Percabeth one-shot story let's meet Percabeth, and another AU Impossible. Also the others, I have a few.
Love you guys. Like seriously, I probably wouldn't have updated until next year if you hadn't bugged me with comments to update. Some authors find it annoying, I'm just thrilled that my readers care!
