With Aghati gone, his men were all arrested by the Enchantra High Commission, and many women would be a lot safer from now on. A lot happened after those events too.

Chairwoman Laverne believed he got what he deserved, and from what she saw when the royal family fought that Garrett taught them well. And you can bet once she learned which of Aghati's men did the actual kidnapping of her daughter, they were lucky she let them live to tell the tale.

Garrett could also tell that Goldie was doing a lot better with her wolf training and she was very brave to fight back when Aghati almost did something horrible to her.

Indira was especially happy. Not only did she earn a beauty mark to fully embrace her belonging to an Equinaro family, but she gained a power to not have to choose between being just a human or pegasus. Best of all, she found her true love. Her fairy tale might not have begun so happily, but it looked like it would end happily.

With the threat of Mariverde worsening, and knowing that men like Aghati still existed, Indira decided to waste no time in doing a bit of a gender reversed version of one of the biggest rituals of love there was.

"Hunter, I know we've only just confessed our love." Indira said, holding Hunter's shoulders. "But in all the time we've spent together since the day we met, I've realized I don't want to spend another without you. We've survived many things together, but in the event one of us doesn't make it, I hope we have the chance to do at least one thing together. Hunter, will you be my husband?"

Hunter had not been expecting this! But, being a soldier, he knew one thing that was guaranteed in that line of work: even with a 100% success rate, there was the chance he might not make it to the next day, much less make it to a day a long time from now to marry the girl of his dreams. And Indira was a girl who came only once in a lifetime. If he didn't take the chance now, he might never get another.

Hunter held Indira's shoulders and smiled at her when he answered, "Indira... nothing would make me happier."

And he leaned in and kissed her, Indira sealing the engagement as she kissed him back.

So, wasting no time, Indira and Hunter gathered their friends at a lovely chapel, where Roya gave Indira a wedding gift of one wish for her dream wedding dress. And Indira knew exactly the design she wanted.

Her gown was a beautiful pink with lines of gold sequins that looked like coins, and she wore a matching veil to go with it.

"You look beautiful, Indira." Jalebi said.

Sarmi had tears in her eyes as she looked at her daughter in human form, in a wedding dress. She and Jalebi knew this day would someday come, but they didn't think it would be so soon.

"Oh, Indira. Where have the days gone? It feels like only yesterday you were first learning to fly." Sarmi said. "And now you're getting married to a man who truly loves you and treats you like you deserve."

"Hunter is a good man," Jalebi agreed. "But, human or pegasus, we will always be here to take care of you, betee."

"Thank you, Papa. Mami." Indira hugged her parents, nuzzling them.

Even though the wedding was small, Indira and Hunter decided to incorporate a few of the traditions of Maamoh-Yah, and Indira's adopted family heritage, which actually weren't too different from each other.

Hunter, on the other hand, felt nervous as he looked at himself in the mirror in his red prince outfit. This time, without wearing a mask. He was brushing his hair nervously. Ever since he was a kid, whenever he got nervous, he would brush his hair rather frantically.

"Hunter, you're doing that nervous thing with your hair again," said Tech.

"No, I'm not!" Hunter said. "I just want my hair to look my best before I get married. You had a year to plan your wedding, I only got one day."

"Hunter, you are going to do fine." Tech said. "To my knowledge, this wedding is a lot smaller than the traditional size of those in Indira's heritage, and you also know everyone here. Therefore, you won't need to worry about what impression you make on everyone tonight."

"Thanks, I feel a lot better." Hunter said sarcastically.

Just because he knew everyone at the wedding didn't mean he wasn't nervous about messing up his vows or something. And he was also nervous about one tradition Comedia seemed particularly excited about.

Just then, there came a knock at the door.

"Wedding gift for the groom." said a familiar voice.

Comedia left a basket of treats at the door. She was all dolled up in her coronation dress for the wedding, and Hunter saw her turning the corner as he picked the basket up. But, he was sure she'd run right back and was listening outside the door as he brought it in and put it down. It was full of treats and had a note attached.

"Thought wedding jitters might make you nuts, hope you enjoy these treats and help settle your guts." Hunter read. Then he feigned not knowing what came as he picked up a nut jar. "Oh no, I hope a fake snake doesn't pop out of here."

But to Hunter's great surprise, he opened the nut jar, and there were actual nuts inside. He tasted one. It tasted normal. So, he looked in the mirror. His teeth and tongue were the same colors as before. Maybe it wasn't a prank. So, Hunter picked up a juice box that came with the basket.

"Huh, I guess she isn't doing the tradition of-"

But when Hunter poked the straw into the box, POOF! A big explosion of glitter burst all over him, covering his red suit with gold glitter sparkles. And sure enough, Comedia was laughing her curly haired head off.

Hunter sighed. Comedia was embracing this particular wedding tradition. You probably already guessed it: pranks on the groom.

"On the bright side," said Echo with a chuckle. "You'll definitely shine up at the altar."

Hunter rolled his eyes and then just tried to dust as much glitter as he could from his hair before tying his signature bandana around his head.

"Okay, Hunter. You can do this." Hunter said. "Oh no, I'm nervous again! I don't think I can do this."

"Hunter," said Tech. "Look at me and allow me to quote something General Skywalker told me on my wedding day. Standing up at the altar is scary for any groom, but it's scary for the bride too when she walks down the aisle. However, once you see your bride and how lovely she looks in her dress, you will forget all about your fears."

Hunter chuckled and said, "At this point, I think the only thing I'm fearing is when Comedia's gonna strike again."

And Hunter sat down and... FART!

Hunter quickly stood up and found a whoopee cushion.

"How does she do that?!" Hunter exclaimed.

One thing Hunter knew wasn't a joke, though, it was time for him to go out and get married.

Part of the tradition in Indira's family was that the groom always had a spectacular entrance as well as the bride. So, Hunter had a very exciting entrance with Maybelle and Pinto making music and introducing him.

"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls at this weddin'" Maybelle said.

"Presenting his leadership, the groom..." Pinto continued.

"You know him, you love him...Hunter Fett!" the two finished together, and Hunter rode in on Banjo, the latter first running down the aisle and flying into a triple loop and Hunter making a daring jump with a smooth landing onto the altar. Everyone was so impressed. Hunter could seem broody, but he knew how to make an entrance to his own wedding.

That was when Harmony shined her horn to conduct Carmine to play his keytar, and Myra to play her guitar. (Cue: "Beauty and the Beast-Instrumental" by Jack Jezzro)

Teatra and Estrella then pulled apart some curtains for Goldie, Mona, Gabby, and Lamenta to walk down the aisle and sprinkle lotus flower petals, all of them looking absolutely beautiful. And then, the Teatra pulled the curtains open and Anakin made an archway of pink lotus flowers appear as Indira emerged in her dress, holding a bouquet of lotus flowers in her hands.

Hunter looked down the aisle and felt unbelievable emotions when he saw how beautiful Indira looked in her wedding attire. Tech was right. Hunter didn't think about nerves at all. He felt like he was gazing at an angel sent from Heaven.

"Wow..." Hunter gasped.

Sarmi and Jalebi came by Indira's side and walked with her down the aisle, Indira looking ecstatic to see Hunter at the altar waiting for her. It was amazing to imagine that they could've come so far. They had only been friends in all the time they'd spent together, but they were matched for a reason, and they didn't want to waste any more time now that they realized they were more than just friends.

Indira got a loving snort from each of her parents as it was finally time to give her away. Jalebi also snorted at Hunter, clearly saying in his eyes that Hunter better take good care of his little filly. And the moment they held hands, Hunter and Indira got lost in each other's eyes.

Hunter held Indira's hands dearly as it came time for him to give his vow.

"Indira...our story is unlike any love I've ever seen or heard. You have the spirit of a pegasus in every way. You're strong, beautiful, and even the strongest storms couldn't stop you from taking flight. We started out as a knight and his steed, and in all that time, you've done so much for me. You've calmed me in times of stress, shown me all kinds of ways to appreciate the little things, and now I can't imagine myself sharing a life with anyone but you. As a human or a pegasus, you are the wisest lady I've ever known, and I'll be honored to call you my wife."

Instead of giving Indira a ring, given that she could transform from a human to a pegasus any time, Hunter pieced together something last night that he could give her to seal his promise to her. With a little help from Constantine, Hunter found some pebbles and seeds to string together into a lovely necklace, which Hunter placed around Indira's neck at the altar.

"With this string of seeds, I pledge to you my everlasting support, and promise to care for you as our love shall grow every day, as long as we both shall live."

Indira felt happy tears sting her eyes as she felt Hunter tightened his grip slightly, looking at her with sincerity in his eyes. Despite the short time they'd spent together, and the doubts they might be rushing into this, Indira and Hunter were sure they were ready to take the step now and make it work as they went along, because one important factor of a healthy marriage was teamwork. And Hunter was the leader of a squad that knew teamwork, but being captain of a team was different from being a husband, even with a wife as level-headed as Indira.

"All my life," sighed Indira. "I never thought I would meet a man who would love me as I am. And then came the day I met you, Hunter. I was human inside, but an equine outside, and I never would've thought we could be together. While I was sharing words of wisdom to help you and others, I never spent much time taking my own advice and ran from my past instead of confronting it for years. But whenever I'm with you, I feel like I've found everything I've ever wanted in my future prince. You're fearless, you care so deeply for your family and your friends, and I've seen how Mona loves to cling to you like a big teddy bear. All that shows me that underneath the broody attitude, you have a bigger, softer heart than I could've imagined. I love you, Hunter. And I look forward to sharing a life with you as my husband."

As another part of Indira's family traditions, garlands of beautiful pink flowers were brought out by the bride's parents, and the couple placed them around each other's necks as a symbol of unity.

"By the power vested in me," said the preacher. "I now pronounce you husband and wife."

Indira and Hunter didn't think twice about it. They embraced each other and passionately leaned into the happiest, most awaited part of any fairy tale princess story: true love's kiss.

Flower petals rained everywhere as cheers and happy tears poured for the happy couple.

Indira felt emotions she never felt as she was standing here now, kissing her husband. Hunter too felt an amazing sensation as he kissed Indira, holding her closer and kissing her deeper.

Eventually, the couple gently pulled away, the two of them looking into each other's eyes with no other expression but love.

"We're married," sighed Indira happily.

Hunter smiled at his wife.

"If I'm dreaming, don't wake me up."

Hunter hugged Indira and nuzzled with her. The couple felt so secure, so happy to be here, finally married, and in each other's arms.

"Hunter," sighed Indira. "Kiss me again."

Indira leaned towards her husband again, and Hunter didn't hesitate to kiss her again.

Now Hunter definitely understood why Tech was always so happy after making out with Mila. Somehow, each time he felt her lips against his, it made him feel secure, like everything was just fine, more than fine, and somehow he knew he was where he needed to be.

Hunter's brothers were all very happy for him when they saw how happy he was with his new wife.

Tech wrapped an arm around Mila, the two of them remembering when it was them at the altar.

"They're going to make it work," said Mila. "They're just perfect together."

And with how much Indira was kissing Hunter now, it was pretty clear those two were probably going to be ready to start a family soon. But for now, it was time to celebrate!

Of course, just because the guest list was small didn't mean they couldn't have a big celebration.

Hunter and Indira were laughing and having so much fun as they danced together in a very lively first dance. One thing that was guaranteed at a lot of parties in Maamoh-Yah was lots of dancing and lively music.

Mona wanted to dance like Indira was with Hunter, but found it a little tricky.

"That kind of dancing is hard!" Mona said.

"Not if you keep at it." Roya said. "Here, Mona, I'll show you how to do it."

So, Roya began showing Mona and the other kids how they danced in her kingdom. Some of them and a few other movements already, but there were still other parts to learn. And it turned out to be a lot of fun for all of them. It was especially fun for couples to learn how to do it like the newlyweds were doing.

Hunter found it feeling extra magical when he lifted Indira in a spin, something he could never do with her as a pegasus. At least, not unless he had Qui-Gon's strength. And Indira found it amazing to feel like she was flying even when she didn't have wings.

"Hunter!" Indira laughed as her new husband spun her in his arms.

"So, is this anything like how you imagined your happily ever after?" Hunter asked.

"No. It's even better."

No matter how many princess stories Indira read with the children, none of them could compare with what she was experiencing today. She didn't need a fairy godmother, glass slipper, or to be rescued from a fire breathing dragon to be a true princess. She only needed her strong spirit, devoted heart, and now, most importantly, her Prince Charming.

"I love you, Hunter." Indira fluttered her lashes.

"I love you too, Indira." Hunter said. And he kissed her once more.

By this moment would usually be when we would say "And they all lived Happily Ever After," but this story was far from over, as each happy ending was a new beginning, but also because even with Aghati dead and his men imprisoned, there was still an evil witch still looking to spread her curse on any victims she could find, and watched for many through her magic mirror.

"Enjoy this while it lasts, Princess Indira." Mariverde said, petting one of her mariclavas in her hand. "Your ex-fiance Aghati provided plenty of feeding for my babies, and might have provided more had he not been stupid enough to get himself killed."

If any fairytale villains you know, be it a wicked stepmother, evil queen, even a fire-breathing dragon, came across Mariverde, they would all be scared out of their pointy shoes or running off crying like scared puppies. For a woman with wings of a frail and gentle creature, she was beyond the usual antics of fairy tale villains, and was not easily defeated.

"Fret not, my pretties, our big moment of triumph shall approach soon. We simply have a few others to take out and extort before the big finish."

Everyone raised their cups as a toast was proposed.

"Hunter, congratulations on being the lucky man to marry my daughter," said Sarmi. "Indira has sung your praises in so many letters since she was matched with you. And now that she is no longer merely a steed to you, you best take good care of her, or I'll become Mama Bear on you."

People laughed, though they knew Sarmi was serious about that. She might not have been a royal guard like her husband, but she could leave a mark when she wanted, as so many good mothers did to protect their babies.

"Our Indira has been a blessing since the day she came into our lives," said Jalebi. "I was assigned to deliver fruit that day, but in that crate, I found something much sweeter than mangoes. Indira, I still remember the day we first brought you home, and I would not change a thing. Whether you are human or a pegasus, you are our beautiful little lotus flower. You've always had a mind of your own, and you knew always that you had the power to make your own decisions, and that is just one thing that has made it an honor to have you as a daughter. Congratulations, Indira and Hunter Ghoda."

As per tradition of the clones, when each of them got married, they took on their wives' surnames. It was probably that it gave them more a sense of individuality or something. But either way, Hunter was incorporating some of his family's traditions into this wedding too.

After taking a sip from his glass, Hunter had something he wanted to say.

"Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Ghoda. And to everyone here, I'd just like to say- *BELCH!*"

"Hunter!" Indira scolded.

Hunter was almost as red as his bandana as the kids were all laughing.

"Excuse me." And then Hunter burped loudly again. "I'm not usually *BURP!* burping like *BURP!*"

But then, Hunter had his suspicion as he noticed Comedia giggling.

"Comedia, did you put- *BURP!* belch powder in my *BURP!* drink?"

"Maybe." Comedia smiled.

"You're enjoying *BURP!* the pranking tradition, aren't you?" Hunter said.

"Yup. Don't worry, I only put in enough to last a couple minutes."

And that proved true as Hunter finally stopped burping. Hunter sighed with relief.

"Now that I'm done being pranked. I hope." Hunter continued. "What I wanted to say is, I'm very grateful to everyone here for making this a day I never even realized I wanted. All of you have been the best friends I could ever hope for, aside from my brothers. And I hope that as Indira and I build a future together, you'll all be a big part of it."

Hunter kissed his wife's cheek as he concluded.

"I've gone on more missions than I can count, but now I have a new one I've never been more excited, and anxious about." People chuckled at that, especially those who were already married. "And that's being the husband my beautiful bride Indira deserves."

"You're even more than I ever could've dreamed, Hunter." Indira said. "I love every bit of you, inside and out, face tattoo and all. And you are the only man I know who can make a bandana work with any outfit. And I can't wait to have a future and a family with you, my prince."

And Indira pulled Hunter into another long, passionate kiss.
