Sigh. Another early morning. It's as if they never end. Will can't get a single sleep-in day.

He got dressed, but he took his time today. In all honesty, he was hating how things were at the moment.

He lost Nico. Sure, it was a while ago, but it stung. Will is still in love with Nico. Will still craves to wake up next to him every morning. But instead, Nico is in a never-ending pain that, this time, Will can't pull him out of.

It's hard not to be Nico's savior, but it's how reality is.

When Will made it to the infirmary for his daily work routine, Nico was there. Will was surprised, then he felt his heart drop--Was it another alcohol overdose?

But Nico was fine. He was in the infirmary chair which probably needed to go to someone else, but he was just sitting there, waiting. Looking directly at Will.

Will closed the curtains between the chairs and the hallways, and rushed to Nico's side, "Are you okay? What happened? Why are you here?"

Nico rolled his eyes and sat up, "I wanted to talk to you, that's all."

Will sighed, "Well... Can you-" He was going to ask if Nico could wait until his lunch break, but knowing Nico, it took a lot of guts to come here as it was, and he wasn't so sure Nico would wait that long.

"Actually..." Will restarted. "Let me talk to Kayla, I'll take the day off. We can walk by the beach?"

"I'm not here for a date, Will," Nico responded, which Will admits, stung a little. "I'm twenty-five and you're twenty-six. Even if we did go on a date, it wouldn't be somewhere all the kids are hanging out at today."

"All the kids are hanging out on the beach today?" Will asked.

Nico nodded, "Supposedly it's someone's birthday. All the teens and adults are training right now, but in the afternoon the beach will be packed tight."

"Sounds fun," Will commented, "And like I have a long day ahead of me."

Nico smirked, "Yeah, well, I know you'll be fine."

Just for a moment, the two easily found comfort in being around each other. But it was short-tasting.

"Will, I need to ask you a favor," Nico piped.

Sunshine boy nodded, feeling a bit elated inside at their little moment still, "Of course. What's up?"

"I want to try rehab again," Nico spoke quietly. "But... In the human world."
