"After receiving his first badge, the Boulder Badge from Brock. Logan and Elaine leave Pewter City, saying goodbye to Brock and their siblings. And we're now on their way to Mt. Moon to head to Cerulean City," The narrator said as Logan, Elaine, and Ruby were seen walking down a path toward Mt.Moon.

"Hey, Logan," Elaine said, glancing at Logan.

"Yeah, what is it?" Logan asked.

"I know that battling is not much of my thing, but do you mind battling Caterpie so he can evolve?" She asked.

"Just because you don't enjoy battling doesn't mean you can't do them to help evolve your pokemon," Logan stated."And sure, we can battle. Let's find a spot to battle and probably take a break for a bit from walking.

"Thanks; I might not be into battles like that, but eventually, I find my goal," Elaine said, smiling.

"Eevee!" Eevee cried out in agreement from on top of her trainer's head.

"Sure you will, and Eevee agrees," Logan said as he and Elaine found a nice spot to battle in.

"Okay, let's do this, Caterpie!" Elaine said, sending out Caterpie as soon they reached an excellent spot which was an open field close nearby the path, so they didn't get lost.

"Caterpie!" Caterpie cried out as he was sent out of his Pokeball.

"Alright, let's go, Fani!" Logan called out, sending out his Ekans.

"Ekans!" Fani cried out, ready to battle.

"So Fani is going to battle," Elaine said.

"That right, Fani; we're going to help Caterpie evolve, so let's not go too hard on him," Logan said.

Fani looked at Logan and nodded."Ekans."

Caterpie glared at Fani in response."Caterpie."

"Lit?" Ruby cried out, looking at Caterpie, confused.

"It seems Caterpie is not a fan of Fani," Logan commented."Oh well, Fani Bite!"

Fani slitters towards Caterpie with her mouth open ready to attack.

"Caterpie String Shot!"

Caterpie used String Shot, but Fani easily avoided it and bit the Worm pokemon tossing her to the ground.

"Caterpie!" Elaine called out, worried.

Logan raised an eyebrow and glanced at Fani."That was going easy?" He asked.

Fani looked at Logan innocently."Ekans," She said in response.

Logan shook his head and chuckled slightly at Fani's behavior. Caterpie got back up and narrowed his eyes at Fani.

"Caterpie, Cater, Caterpie!"

Fani simply looked away, not bothered by glare at all from Caterpie.

"Caterpie!"

Fani ignored the green worm pokemon and slithered back towards Logan's feet.

"Lit," Ruby said with a  sigh at Fani's behavior, seeing she saw Caterpie as a waste of time despite not being any more significant than him.

Fani looked back at Caterpie."Ekans!"
Caterpie once again glared at Fani."Caterpie!"

Suddenly Caterpie shot string shot slik into the air and down onto its body as it evolved into Metapod.

"Wow, it worked Caterpie is a Metapod, but unfortunately, it can't move now," Logan said.

"True, but it is closer to becoming a Butterfree," Elaine commented.

"Ekans!" Fani said with a nod of her head.

"I guess she was helping after all by making Caterpie angry," Logan stated, looking at his Ekans.

"Yeah, it seems like it," Elaine said with a smile, holding her newly evolved Caterpie.

"Hey, would you like  to continue with the battle are end it?" Logan asked.

"Let's end it here and take a lunch break for now," Elaine replied.

"Sounds good to me," Logan said.

"Lit!" Ruby cried in agreement, ready for a nice lunch break.

Logan chuckled at her happiest and sent out the rest of his pokemon, giving them their food before making some sandwiches for himself and Elaine.

After their nice lunch break, Logan and Elanie return to make their way down the pathway.

"Alright, it seems Mt. Moon is just up there," Logan said, pointing at the giant mountain coming into view.

"So we just have to go through here to reach Cerulean City?" Elaine asked.

"Yeah, that's what my Pokenav map is showing," He said, looking at the pokenave in his hand.

"That's cooler than the map I got from Professor Oak. I don't think my cousin Ash got one through," Elaine said.

"He not the brightest, is he?" Logan asked.

"No, not really, but not a bad guy, just hard to handle, and I instead travel with someone who won't get me lost or in some kind of danger," Elaine said.

"Eevee."

"I get that," Logan said as they entered Mt.Moon.

"It's kind of dark in here," Elaine said.

"Not surprising, with it being a cave," Logan said, pulling out a flashlight.

"Ah, looks who's here," A familiar voice said.

"Oh no, don't tell me," Elaine said.

"Believe so," Logan said as he saw Team Rocket holding shovels.

"Lit!"

"Eevee!"

"It is you three again," Elaine commented.

"Since you are here, tewrp, hand over your shiny Squirtle and, of course, that one!" Meoth said, pointing at Ruby.

"Once again, not happening," Logan stated.

"Fine, Ekans!" Jessie said, sending out Ekans.

"Koffing!" James said, sending out Koffing.

"Ekans!"

"Koffing!"

"Mittens!" Logan said, sending out his Meowth.

"What? How dare you send out fellow Meowth!" Meowth shouted, pointing at Logan.

"Eevee, let's go," Elanie said.

"Eevee!" We cried out, jumping down from Elaine's head.

"Those two won't do anything," James said, laughing.

"Hey, that's a fellow Meowth you are disrespecting!" Meowth snapped. 

"Relax Meowth what important is getting Squritle and his feline that not from here," Jessie stated. 

"Once again not happening Mittens Furry Swipes!"

"Eevee Tackle!" 

"Koffimg Sludge!"

"Ekans wrap!"

Mittens swiftly dodge Sludge and started using it claws with Furry on Koffing causing it to flinch in pain. While Eevee ran towards Ekans only to wrapped by it tail.

"Eevee break free from Ekans," Elaine commanded.

"Mittens use Bi-" Logan started but trailed off hearing a rumbling noise.

Everyone turned around to see a group of angry Geodude rolling there way. Logan  gasped at rhe sight of the horde of Geodude speeding towards them.

"Oh no it those Geodude again!" James gasped in fear.

"Jessie this is your fault," Meowth stated with a glare.

"Forget it and run!" Elanie shouted as Eevee free herself from Ekans climb back onto Elaine head.

"Right let's go," Logan said running with Elaine away from the Geodude with Mittens and Rubby close by him.

"US too!" Team Rocket screamed  running away as well.

While they were running they came across  two pathway in the tunnel. However before they decided which way the Geodude slammed into the wall causing the ground to crack and sending them sending crashing and falling  as they screamed loudly. The fall caused to to end up in separate directions and tunnels as rocks tumble down  blocking the way back up. Logan end up with Jessie and Elaine was with James  and Meowth 

"After battling with Elaine to evolve Caterpie into Metapod.  They continue there way to Mt.Moon only to encounter Team Rocket once again and ended up fighting until they get attacked by angry Geodude ending them to far down into the underground tunnels.  Leaving them separate from each with Logan  with Jessie and Elaine with Meowth and James," The Narrator said.
