"Last time, after running into the Squirtle squad pulling pranks on her and learning that they were abandoned. Elaine becomes determined to find them and show them not humans aren't like them. While fishing hoping to find the squad, they encounter Ash, Misty, and Brock. Now after the Squirtle squad is saved by being destroyed by Team Rocket. Logan, Pearl, Elaine, and River are now traveling with Ash, Misty, and Brock down a dirt path as the sun is now setting since she took the lead," The Narrator said as the gang is seen walking on a dirt path.

"The road got to be somewhere," Ash said.

"Everything somewhere," Brock commented.

"Ash, have you gotten us lost again?" Misty asked, annoyed.

"You know, maybe we should go separate ways," Logan muttered as he glanced at his friends beside him, only for them to hear him.

"You mean because we have been walking for hours now in the middle of nowhere," River commented, leaning closer to Logan and glancing up at sunset.

"I don't know maybe we could give it until Vermillion City," Elaine said.

Logan was about to respond until he was distracted by Misty and Ash's conversation.

"Caught them Ash all of your Pokemon follow you," Misty stated.

"They are all mine and that's all that really counts for a Pokemon trainer," Ash said sheepishly tubing the back of his neck.

"This may come as a surprise to you, but real trainers actually catch Pokemon on their own," Misty commented.

"We're going to be up ahead see you when you're done arguing," River said walking past Ash, Brock, and Misty.

"Yeah see you, cousin," Elaine said waving bye.

'They sure are loud glad I decided to leave just with Elaine when I first met those two.' Logan thought shaking his head at the behavior and glanced at Ruby rolling her eyes at the two.

Logan, Elaine, River, and Pearl then arrived at the sight of a beach.

"Lit!"

"Yeah Ruby it's a nice beach maybe we can find a new Pokemon around here," Logan commented looking around as River and Elaine both sat down deciding to do some fishing."I'm going to look around to see if there are any other Pokemon than the one in the water," He said walking off with Ruby.

"Mine if I come with? I could use a new Pokemon as well," Pearl said.

"Sure."

Pearl then followed after Logan as they walked to the other side of the beach.

"Litleo!" Ruby cried out jumping down from Logan's shoulder.

"What is it Ruby see something?" Logan asked.

"Maybe she is interested in the lighthouse up there," Pearl said pointing up ahead at a cliff to the left with a lighthouse.

"From the map, this lighthouse is supposedly owned by Bill," Logan replied looking at his map on the Pokenav his uncle had given him. 

"Hey, what's that?" Elaine asked pointing to something moving in the sand.

"Ruby tackle bring it out!" Logan commanded.

"Lit!" Ruby cried running toward the sand and slamming into the grab sending a rare-looking Shellder flying into the air.

"Awesome and shiny Shellder another Tackle!"

Ruby charged into Shellder and sent it knocking it down to the ground. Logan then took out a Pokeball at Shellder and it fell to the ground."Pokeball go!" He said as the Pokeball hit Shellder and sucked it in.

The Pokeball shook four times until it clicked signaling that the shiny Shellder was successfully captured and sent away to Professor Oak's lab where his other Pokemon that were at hand were being taken care of.

"Great job Ruby we caught a shiny Shellder," Logan said picking up Ruby and stroking her head as a reward for doing a good job.

"Ah!" Ash suddenly screamed as Krabby pinched his finger.

"Oh boy, what did he do now?" Elaine questioned.

"Vee!" Evee said with shaking of her head.

"I don't know but I'm going somewhere a bit more quiet and getting some training," Logan said.

"I join you there two can stay and watch Elaine trying to catch a Krabby with a stick," Pearl said.

"Sounds good see you two later for dinner I find a nice place to set up camp and train over there," Logan said.

"I going to fish and see if I can find a new Pokemon to catch myself," River said taking off his bag and pulling out a fishing rod.

Logan then found a nice spot not far 0to far from the beach and the lighthouse.

"This should be a great spot," Logan said taking his bag off and placing it down on the ground as he pulled out the tent and got it set up.

"So do you have a plan for Vermillion City?" Pearl asked.

"From what I gathered from the information in my Dexnav is that it is an electric type gym," Logan commented."I believe Sandy my Samdshrew will be the best bet but maybe Ruby could handle it just as well."

"Litleo!" Runy cried out in agreement.

"Then prepare both of them for the gym if you think they are the two best choices," Pearl said.

"Alright let's train and then we call it a night for dinner," Logan said with a nod at Ruby before sending out Sandy his Sandshrew for training.

Pearl nodded and she got comfortable in the tent as Logan began his training session with Ruby and Sandy.

"Ruby show me your strength and use Flamethrower!" Logan commanded."Sandy deflect it  with by rolling up into a ball!"

"Lit!" Ruby cried out as she released a powerful flame at Sandy

"Shrew!" Sandy cried as she rolled up into a ball causing the flame to bounce on her ball and being sent back towards Ruby.

"Nice counter move," River said as he and Elaine walked towards the campsite.

"You done fishing?" Pearl asked.

"Yeah didn't find a Pokemon to catch," River replied.

"All well there next time so who making dinner tonight?" Logan asked turning his attention briefly away from Runy and Sandy's training.

"I'm not the best cook but I can make some sub sandwiches," Elaine said.

Sounds good so what are Ash and the others doing?" Pearl asked.

"Oh they decided to go to Bill's lighthouse," River replied.

"Alright, Ruby and Sandy we can't it an night, and tomorrow we get some a bit more training in the morning before we set on off for Vermillion City once again." Logan said sitting down in the tent with Pearl as Elaine begins making sub sandwiches for dinner tonight.

"After arriving at the beach near Bill's lighthouse. Logan caught himself a shiny Shellder and decide to get some training in with Ruby and Sandy. Now after eating dinner Logan and the gang call it an night before they continue the road to Vermillion City for Logan to ran his theird gym badge," The narrator said.
