"Last, after stopping to wait out the storm in a nice warm den. Logan ran into Jessie while gathering berries for Mitten's food. He offers food and wears his old hoodie to keep her warm from the upcoming storm. Now he and the rest of the group continue on the path to Vermillion City. Through the better be careful who knows what kind of traps wait for them up ahead," The Narrator said as the gang is seen walking on a dirt road only to feel the groundbreaking underneath them.

"Huh?" Elaine questioned, looking down.

The four trainers screamed as they fell down a hole with a loud thud.

"Huh, where did this hole come from?" River questioned, standing next to Elaine as they all started to get up, recovering from the fall.

"Eevee!"

"Litleo!"

"I don't know; maybe someone thought this was fun to set a hole up in the middle of the path," Logan said, looking up a the top of the hole.

"Squirtle, Squirtle, Squrtile," A group of Squirtle said, looking down inside of the hole.

"What are you Squritle laughing about?" Elaine asked.

"Yeah, you call this funny someone could have gotten hurt," Logan said, climbing out of the hole with the others and Ruby on his shoulder.

"You know what, Eevee, let's catch one of them. Go!" Elaine commanded.

"Vee!" Eevee cried out, jumping down from Elaine's head and slamming into one Squritles with round glasses knocking it out.

"Squirtle," A Squirtle with no round glasses said, looking at Eevee sweating a little.

The two Pokemon stared at each other, growling for a few minutes until a police siren was heard approaching them, making the Squrite turn around in panic before running away.

"Now that was odd," River commented.

"Agree," Pearl said.

The siren got loud, and the four trainers turned to see Officer Jenny coming their way on her motorcycle.

"Are you guys all right? Has anyone been hurt here?" Officer Jenny asked.

"No, we're fine, Officer Jenny, but those Squirtle sure are rude," Elaine said.

"Follow me, and I will tell you about those Squirtle," Officer Jenny said, leading the four trainers into town.

"That Pokemon gang calls itself the Squirtle Squad," Officer Jenny said, sitting at her desk back at the police station.

"The Squirtle Squad?" Logan questioned.

"That's interesting. I have never heard of a Pokemon gang," Pearl commented.

"Yeah, I sure haven't, either," River stated.

"There must be a reason they formed a gang," Elaine said.

"They are all Squirltes go were deserted by their Pokemon trainers," Officer Jenny said.

"Deserted, as in abandoned," Elaine said.

"Yes, they don't have a trainer, so they just run and play tricks on the whole town. It is unfortunate because of they had someone to care about them, they wouldn't have turned out how they are."

"Come on, let's go," Elaine said, walking towards the exit.

"What the matter?" River asked as he and the others followed her out of the police station.

"I want to find those Squirtle. Maybe I can catch one and help them see that they don't need to behave this," Elaine said.

"We don't know where even to look," Pearl commented.

"True, but we can still try looking for them. Don't you want to help the Squirtle, especially your River? You're a water-type trainer, and Logan, you defended Charmander."

"Alright, I get it, Elaine. Guess we can try looking for them near the water," Pearl said.

"That is probably the ideal place to look for them," River said.

"Alright then, let's go fishing for Squirtle," Elaine said.

"Eevee!"

"Lit!"

"Well, it looks like Ruby and Eevee agree that we go fishing," Logan said.

"Then let's find the nearest water source," Pearl said."Since it seems everyone agrees with Elaine to try and help the Squirtle squad."

After agreeing, the four trainers set off to find the nearest water source.

The four trainers were now relaxing near a grassy ledge near a beautiful body of water. Logan was lying back with Ruby on his stomach next to Pearl, laying her head against his arm.

Meanwhile, both River and Elaine were sitting up fishing for Squrtile while Eevee was using Elaine's bag as a pillow.

"River, is that you?" A familiar voice called out.

They turned around to see none other than Misty, Ash, and Brock heading their way.

"Hi, little sister. Good to see you," River said.

"Yeah, though, I wasn't expecting you to be here," Misty said, sitting beside River and taking out her fishing rod.

"Well, I read into Logan, Elaine, and Pearl here that I decided to travel with them," River said, glancing at Elaine and then back at Logan and Pearl.

"I see, so you started traveling with these three," Misty said.

"Yeah."

"Hey, Logan, any cool new Pokemon?" Brock asked.

"Yeah, I caught two new Pokemon," Logan replied, glancing at Brock.

"He sure did, and they were cool Pokemon as well," Pearl said, smiling.

"Is my arm comfortable because you have been lying there since we arrived?" Logan asked, looking at Pearl, making her blush slightly.

"I move. My bad," Pearl said, lifting her head

"It's okay. You can stay there, Pearl."

"Hey Logan, what do you say to a battle?" Ash asked.

"Um, how about we save the battle for after we're done here," Logan said, looking back at the three fishing.

"Alright, but don't forget about our battle!"

"I won't, Ash. Soon as there done fishing, we can have a simple one on one battle; for now, then next time, we can do more," Logan replied.

"Elaine, anything yet?" Pearl asked.

"No, not yet," Elaine replied.

"That's a shame, but I'm sure something will show up eventually," Pearl said, shifting her head more into Logan's arm.

"Ah, I caught something," Misty suddenly said.

"Huh?" Ash said.

Everyone looked to see a Squritle who blasted everyone with a powerful Water gun. It then started laughing.

"I'm soaked," Misty said.

"Me too," Ash said.

"Where all soaked," Elaine commented.

Logan noticed Pikachu moving forward and moved back with Pearl and glanced at River and Elaine."I would move back if I were you."

Elaine and River noticed what he was talking about and quickly moved away from Misty and the others.

"Pink! Pikachu!" Pikachu cried out, releasing a mighty thunderbolt, shocking Ash, Misty, and Brock.

"You should have moved back," Elaine said.

"You could warn us, Elaine, when you moved," Ash commented.

"Logan, did you just did not look at Pikachu like we did," Elaine stated.

"Vee!"

"Squirtle. Squirtle." The Squirtle said, jumping out of the water and landing on a dirt path.

"I had enough of your pranks, Squirtle. Pikachu, it's out of the water now!" Ash shouted.

"Wait, let me handle this," Elaine said, stepping before Ash."Look, I got your trainer abandoned you, but you don't have to pull pranks on humans."

"Squirtle," Squirtle said, looking at Elaine.

"Elaine, there's no point letting Pikachu handle this."

"Ash, don't," Elaine said as Pikachu jumped forward, only for Squrilte to counter spinning in its shell and send Pikachu into the water.

A Golden then started swimming near Pikachu.

"It's a Golden watch out for its horn," Misty said worriedly.

"Pikachu, swim to shore. Hurry up."

The Golden was swimming closer and closer toward Pikachu, hitting Pikachu and sending him flying in the air. The Squirtle squad was tying up the next thing, Ash and the others.

"Ha. Ha," A voice laughed.

Everyone turned around to see Meowth."You're not going to Squirtle your way off this one. Teal twerp won't expect you to be here as well," He commented.

"What are you up to?" Elaine asked.

"Goodbye teal tewrp. We don't have rope for you three, so your free," Meowth said, walking off with the Squirtle squad.

River narrowed his eyes as he saw his little sister being taken away by Squirtle.

"Elaine and River go after them," Logan said."I will go with Pearl to find Officer Jenny and tell her what is happening."

"Right," Elaine said.

After running, they finally found Officer Jenny and told her everything that had happened, and she immediately took on off to find the others.

"Come on, Pearl, let's get going as well," Logan said.

"Lit!"

"Right, let's go," Pearl agreed.

"Through first, maybe we should stock up on a few potions," Logan said.

"That's a good idea."

Logan and Pearl then headed off to the nearest shop to buy potions, and soon as that was done, they started running in the direction of Officer Jenny.

Meanwhile, elsewhere

Elaine and River witness Team Rocket is sent blasting off as they wait for Pearl and Logan to arrive.

Now they were stareing at a large fire as Officer Jenny arrived on her motorcycle.

"The whole town will go into smoke," Officer Jenny said.

"Don't worry, I got this," River said, sending out the Squirtle."If the rest of you combine Water Gun with my Squirtle, we can put out the fire."

The Squirtle Squad nodded and helped work with River Squritke to extinguish the fire.

"Awesome job," Pearl said as she and Logan approached the others.

"It only worked because the Squritke Squad agreed to help," River said.

After returning to town, Officer Jenny started making a speech for Squirtle Squad.

Logan, Elaine, and Pearl were leaving town to continue their journey when they saw Ash and the others heading their way.

"Logan, wait up. What do you say we finally have that battle?" Ash asked.

"Well, I did say we could, but I was planning to continue making my journey to Vermillion City. So maybe we can battle then," Logan said as he continued walking with the others.

"Alright, you sure you don't want to travel with us?" Ash asked.

"I think the group I have now is good, but I guess we're going the same way so that we can walk together for a bit. I guess," Logan commented.

"Hey guys, Squirtle is following us and holding an egg," Misty said to everyone turned to see a white egg with orange spots in Squritle hands.

"Hey, Squrtile, would you like to come with us, Squirtle?" Ash asked.

"Squirtle!" It cried out with a nod and ran toward Ash before heading the egg to Elaine.

"Looks like you got a new Pokemon in that egg," River said.

"That's right, and I can help you take care of it since I cared for it," Logan said.

"That will be great."

"Now, after adventure and a new Pokemon egg added to the group. Logan, Elaine, and River continue their journey with more excitement up ahead with now Ash, Misty, and Brock added to the journey to Vermillion City," The narrator said.
