"Last time, Logan, Elaine, Pearl, and River arrived at the Pokemon Center on Route 24, where they met Shawn, the original trainer of Logan's Shiny Charmander. Elaine, Pearl, and River then learn about Logan's past, now after getting a nice sleep and eating breakfast. The gang was getting ready to leave and continue their path to Vermillion City," The narrator said as the four trainers were seen getting up from the table they were eating at and clearing their dishes with Ruby and Eevee following their lead.

"Who is that guy?" Elaine commented.

"What guy?" Pearl asked.

"That boy," Elaine said, nodding toward a blue-haired boy with many Pokeballs.

"I don't know, but I don't think I want to get involved with him," River commented.

"I get what you mean. He gives me a bad feeling," Logan said.

"Lit!" Ruby cried out, climbing onto Logan's shoulder.

"Yeah, he probably nobody important let's go," Elaine said.

"Hey guys, it looks like it might rain today," Pearl said, pointing out the window at the grey clouds.

"Should we wait to leave?" Elaine asked.

"Vee," Eevee said, getting on top of Elaine's head.

"I believe that we should be fine. It looks like it won't start for a while. There are only a few grey clouds," River commented.

"River right, plus we always stop and find some sort of shelter before it begins raining," Logan said, walking towards the Pokemon Center door.

"Good point," Elaine said.

"We better get started then if we want to get far as we can before it rains," Pearl said.

Logan nodded as he and the others then walked out of the door.

The four trainers were walking along a dirt path, passing the trees with Ruby and Eevee both riding on them comfortably.

"I would say we can get in at least a couple of hours of walking before it starts raining," River said, looking up at the sky.

"I suggest we find a place to wait out the rain before it starts pouring by then," Pearl said.

"How about we stop soon as we find a spot that looks like a good shelter from the rain," Logan said.

"Litleo!"

"That sounds good to me," Elaine said.

"Well then, let's get going before it starts raining," Logan said.

The gang then continued walking down the pathway silently, trying to get as far as they could before it started raining.

After a good three hours of walking, the four trainers then found a nice-looking rocky den to rest in.

"Well, how about we eat some lunch and then rest here since the rain looks like it will be coming soon," Logan said, looking at the larger group of clouds.

"That sounds good. How about I make some sandwiches," River said, unzipping his bag.

"Ruby, why don't you help me find some sweet berries for Mittens Pokemon food since I don't think I have any left," Logan said, taking his bag off and looking inside.

"Lit!" Ruby said in agreement.

"Yeah nothing. Let's go," Logan said, zipping his bag up.

"Don't take too long it's about to rain soon," Pearl said.

"I will be quick. Let's go, Ruby before it rains," Logan said, leaving the den with Ruby on his shoulder and vag on his back.

Logan and Ruby were walking through the woods, looking around for signs fo berries in any of the trees.

"Litleo!" Ruby cried out.

"Hm," Logan hummed and looked at what Ruby was looking at and saw a tree with Oran berries in them."Good job, see if you help knock a couple down with Headbutt."

"Lit!" Ruby said, jumping from Logan's shoulder and slamming her head into the tree, knocking a few berries down.

"One more time."

Ruby nodded and slammed the tree one more time knocking down some more.

"Alright, good job ththat'snough a, and shouldest us until we get to Vermillion City," Logan said, kneeling and rubbing Ruby's head.

"Litleo!" Ruby aasaidappily from the rubbing

As he was putting the berries away in the empty bag he had from the last time he brought berries from the Pokemart, he heard rustling from the bushes to the left and turned to see Jessie falling out of them.

"Careful," Logan said quickly, grabbing her.

"Oh, hello, Teal twerp," Jessie said, surprised as she noticed he was holding her."Thanks for the catch, but what are you doing here?"

"I was grabbing berries for Pokemon food. What are you doing here?"

"Lit!" Ruby nodded at the bag. Logan smiled and bagged the rest of the berries.

"Oh, James and I were getting ready to build a new machine, but I with to find some food," Jessie said.

"How would you like some berries or some chips?" Logan asked, unzipping his bag and pulling out a bag of chips, and showing her the berries."I have instant noodles as well."

"Oh no, that no-" Jessie trailed off as her stomach rumbled.

"Come on, take something. It's fine, really," He said, smiling.

"Well, I just the chips and noodles," Jessie said.

"Alright here," He said, heading her the chips and then pulling out a cup of noodles."Enjoy now. It would be best if you went before it rains. You don't want to catch a cold," He said, putting the berries in his bag.

"Um, yeah," Jessie said, looking down at the ground."Thanks, I guess, for the food."

"No problem. Do you want me to walk you back before it rains or use my extra jacket it, my old one before my mom bought this one I have on just in case?"

"No, I'm good."

"Sure, because it's quite cloudy," Logan said, looking at the sky.

"Yes, I'm good," Jessie said, ready to walk away.

"Take this jacket. At least I don't want you to freeze from the rain," Logan said, pulling out a grey hoodie with many stars on it.

Jessie smiled faintly as she walked over towards Logan, as he put the hoodie on her.

"Now take care," Logan said, putting his bag on his back and walking off.

"Litleo!" Ruby cried out, following after him and jumping onto his shoulder.

Logan ran towards the den with Ruby on his shoulder as it started to sprinkle slightly and saw River holding a plate of sandwiches.

"Hi, guys," Logan said, entering the den.

"Logan, you took a bit to get back," Pearl commented.

"Sorry about that got a bit distracted," He said, taking out the bowls to make his Pokemon food.

"Well, here are your sandwiches, and maybe next time one of us should go with you so Pearl is less worried," Elaine said, laughing, passing him three triangle shape sandwiches on a plate.

"It not my fault he was gone so long."

"Relax, Pearl. I'm just joking. It's cool. I was curious myself about what was taking so long," Elaine said.

"Alright, let's eat up, and then I guess rest here until it stops raining," River said.

"Sound good," Elaine agreed.

The four trainers then ate their food in silence until it was all gone and spent the rest of the time relaxing with their Pokemon listening to the pouring rain.

"Looks like it is going to rain until tomorrow," Logan stated.

"I believe so. Might as well call it a day then," River said.

Everyone nodded in agreement and started to get comfortable for the rest of the day in the den until the next morning.

"After stopping for a break to rest before it started to rain. Logan went to gather berries for Mitten's food. However, he soon runs into Jessie looking for some food and offers to give her some hearing stomach rumbling. As well as offering her his old hoodie to keep her warm with the upcoming. After going back to his friends to eat, they then ended up spending the night in the den with the rain storm going on. The gang will soon continue their journey to Vermillion City in the morning," The Narrator said as the gang is seen getting inside of their sleeping bags.
