"Last, Logan, Elaine, and Pearl arrived in Cerulean City; we're Logan planned to earn his second badge. After talking to his father, he and Pearl set off to the gym while Pearl goes to train her Celefairy at Nugget Bridge. They soon arrive at the gym and meet Daisy, Lily, and Violet, the three sister gym leaders, only to find out all their Pokemon were beaten. Soon as Logan is about to leave River, their younger brother shows up and accepts Logan's challenge after beating River. The trio went to the Pokemon Center to rest. Still, today they are finally about to continue on their journey and planning to leave Cerulean City as soon as Logan made a final with Profearrator," The narrator said as the three trainers were seen walking down the route leading to Cerulean City.

"Alright, Logan, I'm sending you Sandy. Your Sandshrew now," Professor Oak said.

"Here, Patrick, in place of Sandy," Logan said, placing the Pokeball on the transporter.

After a few minutes, the Pokeball glowed white as the Pokeball vanished and was soon replaced by another.

"Alright, got her now for Floral for Sora, please," Logan said.

"Sora the Doduo next, alright, got it," Professor Oak said."She will be happy to have some action. She constantly challenges other Pokemon so that she might have a new move or two. She especially loves batting your rival, Crimson Fearow, since he has his Pokemon staying here as well.

"I see. Why didn't anyone tell me he was coming to Kanto as well," Logan said, placing the next Pokeball ready for transport.

"He told me he wanted to see your face when you saw he was here, so didn't mention him arriving an hour before you," Professor Oak said."Here comes Sora."

"Got her, thanks, Professor Oak well, I shouldn't keep Elaine and Pearl waiting any longer," Logan said.

"You're welcome, and I hope you take care of those two girls," Professor Oak said.

"I will take care of them there; my friends will talk to you later," Logan said, ending the call and placing his two newly transported pokeballs on his belt as he headed outside of the Pokeball Center to join Elaine and Pearl so they could leave.

He arrived outside to see them both waiting for him near the door with Ruby, who happily ran over to him.

"Hey, Ruby," He said, stroking her head.

"You ready to go?" Elaine asked.

"Yeah, the transfer is all done, so now I got Sandy and Sora ready to go," Logan said.

"Then guess where all good to go then," Pearl said.

"Yeah, let's get going," Logan said.

The trio started going out of the City and onto the next one.

After walking through the city and towards the following route for an hour, they stopped as they noticed a large crowd of people gathered and a bunch of police cars.

"The police, something must have happened," Elaine said.

"Your right. Maybe we should check it out," Pearl said.

"Lit!"

"I guess so. Maybe we can help," Logan said.

"Then let's get a closer look," Elaine said.

As they walked through the crowd, moving closer to the front, they noticed Ash and, surprisingly, Brock.

"Hey, so you do know what happened here?" Ash, some guy next to him.

"Some burglars broke into the store last night," The man replied.

"Burglars, huh," Ash said.

"What do you know about Burglars?" Officer Jenny asked, walking over toward Ash and Brock."You two look very suspicious to me."

"Hey, you, that motorcycle officer from Viridian," Ash said.

"She's not the same, Officer Jenny," Logan stated as he Elaine and Pearl walked over to them, making Brock and Ash turn to him.

"Your friend, right? You met my sister-in-law," Officer Jenny said."If you met my sister-in-law, you probably have some dealings with the police in Viridan, said leaning close to Ash's face.

"Well, huh,"

"Maybe you just stopped to ask for directions, or perhaps you found a wallet and turned it in to her, or maybe you're a burglar who broke out of
jail!" She shouted, holding out handcuffs.

"Alright, there not thieves," Logan said."Im not either. None of us all," He stated.

"He right. We just got into the city and saw the crowd and came to see what was going on," Brock said.

"The criminal always returns to the crime scene," Officer Jenny stated.

"Maybe this will help clear things up," Ash said, holding up his Pokedex.

"I'm Dexter, a Pokedex program for Pokemon trainer Ash Ketchum."

"Yeah, and I was the leader of the Pewter City Gym," Brock said, holding up his badge.

"Alright, that evidence is enough for me. Sorry, I was suspicious. As for your friends, I already saw them around yesterday heading to the gym," Officer Jenny said, backing up."So I know they weren't rhe criminals.

"That's right, we were getting ready to leave when we spotted the large crowd," Elaine stated.

"You got the Gym Badge already?" Ash asked.

"Oh ye-" Logan trailed off as he heard Brock talking.

"Um, Miss, I was wondering, since I'm new in town, maybe you and I could get together tonight, and you could show me around," Brock said.

"Huh?" Elaine questioned.

"Well, I'm not off duty until past your bedtime," Officer Jenny said, making Brock depressed, and the others just stared at him."And I may even have to work around the clock to catch these burglars."

"Well, exactly did they steal?" Ash asked.

"That's the strange thing about they didn't take any money, just a massive vacuum and a giant hose," Officer Jenny explained.

"What would a thief be planning to do with that?" Logan questioned."Oh well, come on, let's get going," Logan said as he and the other two started walking out of the crowd.

"Hey Logan, wait!" Ash called out, running towards them.

"What do you say about sharing information about the Gym with me?" Ash asked.

"A real trainer figures out on their own that the point of being a Pokemon trainer is you do your research," Logan stated, continuing to walk away."Glad you could go on a journey, Brock," He said.

"Yeah, and good to see you are doing good, Logan,and earning your Second Badge," Brock said

"Good luck Ash," Logan said as he waved bye to Brock and Ash.

As they were continuing their way out of the city and Elaine stopped walking.

"What up?" Logan asked.

"I know you are ready to go, but I was wondering if we could watch Ash's gym battle?" She asked.

"You want to watch his match?" Pearl questioned.

"I take it you are curious to see how much your cousin has grown on his journey," Logan stated.

"Oh, I didn't realize you were cousins, but now that I think about it, you do look a bit alike," Pearl commented.

"Yeah, my dad is the older brother of his mom," Elaine replied.

"Well, I guess we can go watch and then leave," Logan said.

"Thanks, Logan," Elaine said.

"Hey, no problem, plus I'm curious," Logan said.

"Alright then, off to the gym; maybe he will impress us as Logan did yesterday," Pearl said.

"Glad my match was impressive enough for it. My Pokemon did most of the hard work," Logan said as Ruby jumped onto his shoulder."Well, let's see if Ash started his match already," He said, heading towards the gym.

"Once again," Elaine said.

Logan nodded as they started making their way to the Gym.

Logan, Elaine, and Pearl arrived at the Gym and the battlefield from yesterday, where he saw Ash talking to the three sisters once again in swimsuits as they took a seat.

"I wonder if there are Pokemon ready to go," Elaine said.

"We see," Logan said.

"I challenge all of you!" Ash shouted.

"We don't feel much like batting," Daisy said.

"What do you mean?" Ash asked.

"Yeah, Gym leaders are supposed to accept challenges," Pearl said.

"We got beaten three times in a row already from this nowhere place called Pallet Town," Violet said.

"Are Pokemon were rushed to the Pokemon Center yesterday," Daisy explained.

"This is the only one left," Lilly said, sending a Goldeen.

"Wow, all they have is Goldeen healed," Elaine commented.

"Seems so," Logan said."If River is still here, he will probably battle him instead."

"Yeah."

"So instead of having matches, we have more time to make ourselves look more pretty than ever," Lily said.

"Those girls shouldn't be gym leaders," Pearl stated.

"Lit!"

"Vee!"

"Ruby and Eevee agree," Logan said.

"But I know what you want," Dasiy said, clapping."Seel," She said as a Seel appeared from the pool with a Badge in its mouth.

"A Cascade Badge, you can have it," Dasiy holding it out.

"So then River must have left," Elaine said.

"Thanks, but I prefer to earn my badges," Ash said.

"Take it a Badge is a badge," Daisy said.

Ash sighed and started walking forward.

"Hold it right there!"

Everyone turned to see a tomboy orange hair girl that was familiar to Logan and Elaine.

"Misty!" Ash shouted as she jumped down and landed in front of them.

"Alright, Daisy, if you don't want to fight him, I will," Misty said.

"Misty, good to see you thought I would have to battle himself for them like I did yesterday," River said, walking into the room carrying a black back on his back and a grey jacket.

"What do you mean, and who are you?" Ash asked, looking at Misty and then River.

"I'm a Cerulean City trainer too."

"Huh?"

"I'm the fourth sensational sister."

"There are only three sensational sisters," Lily said."Then there is a brother and one runt," She stated.

"So, little sister, surprised to see you back so soon, and River thought you left this morning after retrieving the Shellder you left here before you went on your journey," Daisy said.

"I was about to wanted it to say goodbye until I heard Misty, and you're about to give him the Badge," River said.

"Okay, anyway, what happened to the little girl with the big mouth who said she wouldn't be back until she was a great Pokemon trainer," Violet said.

"I guess I did say something like that," Misty said.

"I see so that their younger sister," Elaine said."It must be a pain for River to have a lot of sisters."

"Agree," Pearl said.

Logan nodded as he watched Ash and Misty take their places on the battlefield.

"I wasn't planning on battling you until you pay me back for my bike, but this is as good a time as any!" Misty shouted."If you want that Cascade badge, you have to beat me."

"My pleasure. So how many Pokemon?" Ash asked.

"It will be two against two," Misty said.

"So a two against two, she must have less Pokemon than River," Logan stated as he glanced at River standing next to his three older sisters.

"Pikachu, I choose you!" Ash said, picking up Pikachu and attempting to send him out.

However, Pikachu held on tightly to Ash jamd, refusing to battle as he jumped back beside Ash.

"Pikachu, what are you doing?" Ash asked.

"Chu, chu."

"What are you saying you don't want to battle, Misty?" Ash asked.

"Pikachu."

"Well, there for his chance of having the type advantage," Pearl stated.

"Yeah, let's see what he plans to do now," Logan said.

"Fine, I understand you don't want to battle a friend," Ash said, taking out a Pokeball."Butterfree, I choose you!" He said, sending out a Butterfree.

"Free!"

"Misty calls Staryu!" Misty said, sending out a brown starfish with a red gem in the center.

"A Staryu," Logan said, scanning the Pokemon.

[Staryu, The Star Shape Pokemon. The core of this water Pokemon shines in a rainbow of seven colors. A core that is valued by some like jewelry.]

"That's interesting," Elaine said.

"Tackle Butterfree!"

"Free!" Butterfree cried out, slamming straight into Staryru.

"Staryru, counterattack!"

Staryru got up and started spinning towards Butterfree.

"Butterfree Dodge!"

Butterfree quickly dodges and constantly tackles Staryru until Water Gun hits it. It then keeps dodging around as Staryru fires more.

"In that case, Stun Spore."

Butterree releases an orange-looking powder on top of Staryru.

"Staryru looks like it's a real pain," Misty said.

"It doesn't even have a face. How can you tell it doesn't even have a face," Ash commented.

"Oh boy Ash hasn't changed," Elaine sighed.

"Because I'm sensitive to others' feelings, that's how!"

"Oh yeah, and like, I'm not."

"Man, your cousin is kind of odd," Pearl said, not knowing the right words to describe Ash.

"Eevee."

"Litleo."

"Yep, he definitely is," Elaine agreed as they watched Starru dive into the water, clearing the Stun Spore.

"I will definitely attempt, Misty. Not bad, but River was more skilled," Logan said as both of them switched Pokemon.

However, the match was soon cut short as a rumbling sound was heard.

"Huh?" Logan questioned as he and the others turned to see a large machine break through the wall.

Logan, Elaine, and Pearl ran down toward the others to see what was going on.

"Check out that; like, who invited the party crashers?"Dasiy asked as two familiar people appeared.

"Sorry to break on you, ladies," Jessie said as she appeared from the machine.

"Allow us to introduce ourselves," James said.

"To protect the world from devastation."

"To unite all people within our nation."

"To denounce the evils of truth and love."

"To extend our reach to the stars above."

"Jessie."

"James."

"Team rocket. Blast off at the speed of light."

"Surrender now or prepare to fight."

"Meowth, that's right."

"The water Pokemon have the advantage," James said.

"But if we steal the water away," Jessie said.

"Wow, you three are everywhere," Elaine commented.

"Huh?" Everyone questioned as they noticed Logan, Elaine, and Pearl.

"You, what are you doing here, teal twerp," Jessie questioned, looking at Logan.

"Yeah, we expected you to be gone by now since we last ran into you back at Mt.Moon," James commented.

"That was the plan, but I wanted to see my cousin match," Elaine said.

"Wait, she the Pikachu twerp cousin?" Jessie questioned.

"Enough with this. Let's get those Pokemon like planned," Meowth said.

"What are they trying to prove?"

Everyone gasped as a hose with into the water, sucking everything up.

"So they were the burglars from last night," Pearl stated.

"I should of know it was them," Ash said.

"I had a feeling we knew the culprit," Logan commented.

"Litleo!"

"Are swimming pool," Daisy said.

"There sucking it dry," Midty said.

"That's our water," Lily said.

"True, but don't think they care," River said.

"Your right. I should give it back," Meowth said, pushing the lever down and hitting River and his sister into the pool.

"We got to protect the Pokemon," Misty said.

"Like, what about my hair?" Violet asked.

"That's not important," River said, annoyed.

"All now the time to suck them up," Meowth said, pushing the lever up and sucking Seel and almost Pikachu.

"Pikachu, Thunderbolt!" Ash commanded.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu cried out, releasing a powerful bolt of electricity, shocking the Team Rocket trio and sending them out of Gym.

'Oh, my goodness, that had to be painful.' Logan thought, nearing wincing from just watching them be shocked.

"Well, that was something," Logan said, glancing over at Ash as he received his badge."Let's go," He said.

Elaine and Pearl follow Logan outside of the gym.

Logan, Elaine, and Pearl, we're now outside the gym, and we're soon by Ash, Misty, and the rest of her siblings as Brock runs towards them,

"Misty, keep trying to be a Pokemon trainer because you never be stars like us, Lily said.

"You three never change. Catch you around, sisters, and hope to meet again, Logan," River said, waving bye as he walked off.

"We have to get going as well. Bye," Logan said as he and his friends started walking.

"Hey Logan, wait," Ash called out."What do you say about traveling together?" He asked.

"Uh," Logan paused, looking at his travel companions, wondering what to say.

"Logan, Elaine, and Pearl after running into Ash and Brock. They soon go to watch his match, with Elaine curious about how her cousin is doing, only for it to be interpreted by Team Rocket attempting to steal the Pokemon. Luckily Pikachu saved the day, and now Ash has his second. Soon as he was about to leave with Elaine and Pearl. Ash asks if Logan wants to travel together," The Narrator said.
