Jiwon's Pov

"Are you serious? She sent that girl to act as my girlfriend?!" Jin exclaimed when I told him about my suspicions.

"Yes, I just can't believe she would do that. We've been friends for a long time."

"You didn't lose a friend, you just realized she was never one."

"It feels like my heart has been shattered," I whispered barely audible even to myself but somehow Jin was able to hear me.

He hugged me tightly, whispering words of comfort to me. "Let all your tears out; don't keep it in." He patted my hair.

I am so lucky to have a guy as sweet as him in my life.

Jin's Pov

Wow! That girl is making things too easy for me.

Maybe she does actually like me. I mean, who wouldn't?

"It feels like my heart has been shattered." I heard her say quietly.

And I don't care, but anyway it's time to put my acting skills to the test.

"Let all your tears out, don't keep it in." I patted her hair.

Ewww! When was the last time she wash her hair?

Ugh! This is so annoying. when will she stop crying.

Now she's staining my clothes.

Jiwon's Pov

"Why didn't you wait for me so could come to school together?" Wonyoung playfully shoved me.

"No reason. I just didn't want to be late. Where were you yesterday?" I asked, as I observed her carefully.

Would she lie?

I watched her fingers trembling slightly, which caused her to run a shaky hands through her hair, smoothing it out, maybe to calm her nerves.

"I was-uh-at work-um-you know it's only you who-uh-got the boss' approval to leave work early yesterday," She laughed nervously.

Author's Pov

The group of four friends was busy chatting with each other while waiting for their next teacher when a guy came to hand a card to them.

"What's this?" Jimin asked as he collected the cards from him.

"It's my birthday on Saturday, and everyone in class is invited." He disclosed, giving the last person a card.

"Are you going to go?" Jimin asked Wonyoung and Jiwon after the guy left.

"Are you kidding me?" Wonyoung exclaimed "Of course we're going. No one ever misses a Jackson Wang party." She gushed.

"You guys have to come. You can't miss it. You guys will have so much fun." Jiwon promised.

Jimin and Taehyung agreed to go after some convincing from the two girls. "So we We'll meet at Wonyoung's house and go from there." Jiwon suggested.

"Sure." They all agreed.

"Good morning, Mr. Lee." Every student greeted the teacher as he entered the class.

Jiwon's Pov

"Hey, where are you going? Aren't we going home together?" Wonnie asked me.

"No, I have to go on an errand for my parents, so you have to go alone."

"Oh! Bye, then. See you tomorrow." She waved at me.

"Bye." I waved back.

After waiting a few minutes for Wonyoung to get far enough ahead so we don't encounter each other on the road, I started on my journey to find out the truth.

I know the person I saw yesterday was Wonnie but I just have to make sure by this way only.

I arrived at my workplace, going into my bosses office. "Good afternoon, sir." I bowed in respect, greeting him.

"Oh! Jiwon. What are you doing here? Is today your shift?"

"No, sir. I just came to ask you a question."

"Sure. What is it?" He signaled for me to sit down.

"Thank you, sir," I said as I sat down. "Actually I came to ask you if Wonyoung came to work yesterday."

"No. Her mom was sick, so she took permission to take care of her. Is that all?"

"Yes, sir." I bowed and left his office.

I knew it.
