Aakarsh remained silent for a while, and Mounika's heart started racing again, until she hears the sudden laughter of Ishika, Ishita, Akshay, and mainly, Aakarsh.

Aakarsh starts saying to Akshay, "Bro, where did she get all that confidence man? To propose to me in front of the entire college?" And Akshay says, "I know right!"

Akanksha starts walking up to the place and says, "What's so funny about it? Why are you humiliating her in public?"

Aakarsh replies, "How is it not funny to you? And by the way, she humiliated herself."

Mounika lowers her eyes, trying not to show her teary eyes. Unable to see that, Uday lowers his eyes too. Aakarsh starts, "Fine, since you look depressed..." He looks around and finds Uday watching in the back. "Uday, come up."

Although hesitant at first, Anand pushes Uday to the front. Aakarsh asks, "Do you like anyone?"

Uday, who didn't want Mounika to get angry or feel disgusted about him, replied, "Um, no. I don't like anyone."

"Well, there's a match! Everyone, clap for them!" Mounika and Uday look up to Aakarsh. "What happened, darlings? See, you guys are nerds, Uday is pretty good, sweet, generous, so you guys should get married! I don't know if he's gonna actually like you or leave you for someone else, but-"

"Excuse me, mind your tongue," said Uday.

"Just stop it!" Mounika yelled, for the first time. "Everyone told me that you were a wrong choice just because of you on the outside, but I trusted that you would be nice on the inside, when I saw you for the first time, when you were helping little kids in picking up litter, but-"

"That was because I was forced to by my parents."

"Exactly, this is what I wasn't able to recognize. I was an idiot, fighting with my own sister because of you."

Uday stares at Mounika, because he wasn't able to recognize her love for Aakarsh. Aakarsh, meanwhile, was yawning. Mounika shakes her head. "I can't believe that I fell for an idiot like you." Aakarsh and Akshay stand up, but before they said anything, they see the principal walking by. They stopped themselves.

"Goodbye." When Mounika said that, Uday felt as if she said that to him, because he didn't know what was awaiting him.

Mounika went home, and then came the voice of Sandhya. "What happened at college?" Without answering, Mounika runs up to Sandhya and hugs her, really tight. "I hate him Sandy, I hate him so much!"

Sandhya understood what happened, but she didn't want to come up to conclusions right away. "What happened, Mouni?"

"He's such an idiot. He's stupid and spoiled. He's a brat. A spoiled brat. I proposed to him on a dare, and he rejects me in public. I wouldn't have cried if he just rejected me, but he insulted me. How dare he-"

"It's fine."

Mounika comes out of Sandhya's arms. "But how did you know that something happened?"

"Akanksha messaged, saying that it's fine and to not think about it so much."

"She always messages at the wrong time!" And they both chuckle.

Meanwhile, Uday slowly came home from college. Nishita saw him looking very upset, as she was like an emotion thermometer - something that can see a person's inner emotions. "What happened, bhaiyya?"

"Nothing." He was lying.

"You're lying."

"No I'm not," he says, lowering his eyes.

"Yes. You. Are."

"NO I'M NOT, WHY DOESN'T ANYONE LISTEN TO ME!" He screamed, for the first time ever, in his entire life. Their mom heard it. "Uday, what happened?"

"Nothing, ma. Was just watching a video."

"Okay son."

"Bhaiyya, why do you look new to me. What happened?"

Uday explained everything to Nishita. Upon hearing that, Nishita was in tears. "Why did Aakarsh have to do that? Why is fate like this?" Uday, who was close to tears, rested his head on Nishita's shoulder, trying to control his tears, but he wasn't able to do it. He broke down. Hard. Very hard.
