Yes. Yes I did just put an actual ad into my story !

(You have to admit though, it's so much nice than those ghastly shouty ads on TV; mine is so much more aesthetically pleasing, right?)

Please take a minute to admire it... I spent a lotta time working on it when I really should have been studying n preparing for university (which literally starts next week!!! I'm so jeeped -I'm first year this year!- wish me luck !!!).

Of Mochas & Macchiatos

Soooo, if you are currently dying for the next chapter of The Path to Elysium, why don't you check out my other work in the mean time? (please please please ! It would make me ever so happy if you donated a vote n commented too ! )

It's called Of Mochas and Macchiatos and it's still written in my melodious style and it's filled with lots of quaint locations that you'll wish existed in real life and realistic characters who have deep backstories and quiet fears and ambitions.

(None of that shallow trashy bad boy stole my phone type stuff, so if you're lookin' for that, toodles; I mean you may even just leave this book rn!)

Moreover, it's brimming with lots of clever one-liners and witty remarks and comebacks that you can steal to use in real life and lots of biology facts you can randomly quote to sound really clever. (I mean, why read something unless you're gonna reap something from it, am I right??) 

Still not convinced? Well, if you're reading this book, I'm assuming that you, like me, ADORE Percy Jackson n The Olympians. So help a fellow Camp Half Blood camper out please (ALSO, there are lots of lil PJO n HoO references in it - like easter eggs! So go read n comment when you find one please! I feel like I'm just gonna send anyone who does find these easter eggs, the new chapters to THIS book before everyone else gets them ! )

You can even substitute in Rick Riordan's characters - I won't tell anyone. Main boy Rafe is very Percyish in his sarcasm n personality n main girl Evie is most definitely an Annabethesque persona who is really very smart and likes to inadvertently one-up her boyfriend with her cleverness. (Pretty much subconsciously based my characters off of Riordan's.)

I think my final reason is probably the most compelling. When you finish reading this story, you are going to be so. utterly. heartbroken. that you will most definitely need to read something slightly more uplifting.

Of Mochas and Macchiatos is most definitely that something.

Close your eyes and imagine this... (after reading the next part!)

You know those dark wintry days when the outside world is vicious and cold? When the rain lashes at you and your umbrella is whipped away by the cruel wind. And then you come inside, curl up in a soft cashmere blanket on the couch by the fireplace, and read a book, the pages crinkling slightly between your fingers, as you sip a warm drink.

Of Mochas and Macchiatos (don't be misled by the name-it's most definitely NOT a barista romance thing... apparently that was a big thing?? It's just a line from the book.) is that gorgeous ambrosia that soothes away the chaos of the world and invites you to a place far away.

It will pick up the pieces of your broken demigod heart and whisper away the pain...

So please please please, I implore you to read it (preferably while curled up in the couch and sipping a  fluffy hot chocolate while taking random intervals to stare into a crackling fire that reflects brilliant glimmers of orange and gold into your eyes ahhaha my story is not so excessively descriptive as that though ! So don't be scared by thoughts of way overly flowery language!)
