3 days before the Colonel Died.

By the end of that night, Raj had fallen asleep, exhausted, right on the floor.
When he woke up, he found sunlight streaming in through the window.
Shit, this cannot be good.
He looked at the time.
It was 8 am.
He was late for his drill.
And he was in no condition to take it.

Just then, there was a knock.

Raj hurriedly got up, shoved all the papers and files haphazardly in his cupboard, straightened himself a little, and went to open the door.

It was Abhi.

"Raj, aap thik hai?
Aap class ke liye late the, maine socha I'l go and check."

Raj : "Ha....wo..
I ....er..fell asleep."
He answered, grinning sheepishly, his brain too tired to think of an excuse.

Abhi : Are you,..ok?

Raj : Ha...I'm..
He was about to say fine,...but stopped.
He couldn't do this anymore. His brain wasn't helping him at all.

Raj : Actually,....I am..not feeling well.
Kya aap, aajki class le lenge, mere badle?

Abhi looked at him intensely, trying to find out what was wrong. Raj avoided his gaze, and went and sat on the couch.

Raj : Chauhan saab, I'm fine, just tired.
Dont worry, I'l see you after this class.

Abhimanyu nodded, did not press the matter, and went away to conduct the drill.

Raj heaved a sigh, locked his doors, and sat down.
Enough of this.
He couldnt let Gehlot win.
He needed a strategy.

Two hours later, he had a vague plan ready, a plan with so many flaws, he wondered why he was doing it at all.
Maybe because he had no time for a proper plan.

He took the day off from BC, feigning sickness, grabbed his laptop and his bag, and drove off to a remote sheltered spot, a few kilometeres away from the academy.

Then he went off into the woods, and walked till he came to a slight opening, then sat down near a tree.

He could work here in peace.
It was a place he, Naveen and Abhi had discovered.

He quickly removed the reports and evidence he had taken from the red box, along with all other evidence of Naveen's case, that he had bought along and methodically started clicking pictures on his phone.
Then he transferred the images on his laptop, and then into a pendrive.
Deleting the images from the laptop and his phone, he pocketed the pendrive, then selected some papers from the pile, and burned them.
Pocketing the rest, and wrapping everything up, satisfied at a job well done, he drove back.

On the way back, he called his lawyer, to draw up  his marriage papers, and told him to make some alterations in his will. And he intructed him to keep this a secret.
To say that his lawyer was surprised to hear these alterations, was an understatement.

Present.

Alekh and Yudi, back at Alekh's place.
They open the notepad.
Flip through it.
Somewhere in the middle of blank pages, there is a page with one line written on it.

Everything starts, from a dot.

Just this one line, nothing else.
They check the entire notepad again.
It is completely blank, except for this one line.
They stare at each other, finally flummoxed.

Alekh : Yaar, ek to time nai hai, upar se ye code pe code.
Kya kare ab.

Yudi : Dude, this looks way out of my league. I can't make heads or tails out of this.

They are reading it again and again.

Sun, Mereko lagta hai, hame iske baare me baaki sab to bata dena chahiye.
Yudi agrees.

They msg Pooja, Huda and Naina.

"Actually, kya haina, Shahrukh ki bhasha samjhna thora difficult hai.
Lekin samjhenge nai to movie ka maza nai aayega. Aur sirf aaj raat hi free hai. Kya tu hamare saath chalega, movie dekhne? Mai Alekh ke saath mere ghar se jaunga.

They send a coded msg, realising for the first time, the danger if anyone found out.

As soon as everyone receives the msg, they understand, and make their way to the hotel.
Naina contacts Abhimanyu, who gets along Gunny.

They all get assembled, taking care to keep checking that they are not being followed.
