2 weeks later

Lying awake at night. Haunted by thoughts. Scary at a young age. Haunting when you get older.

Sienna could never sleep at night. She was constantly waking up because of a nightmare.

Sleeping soundly was hard for her.

One night, she woke up and could not stop crying. I went into her room, picked her up, and took her into my room. Somehow Nigel was sleeping through all of this.

Grasping Sienna in my arms, I gave her a kiss on the head and fell asleep.

I woke up in a village. I couldn't find Nigel and Sienna was missing. The village was all aflame and no one was in sight. Then, there was a giant purple figure floating right above me.
"Nobody in your family is safe and the vessel will be mine!" He said to me.
"Y-" I stuttered "YOU CAN'T HAVE HER!! SHE'S NOT YOUR SPAWN AND SHE NEVER WAS!!"

Then, light surrounded him and I woke up.

"Sweetie? Are you okay?" Nigel asked.
"I'm fine. I just had a nightmare." I replied. "Wait... WHERE'S SIENNA?!"
"Don't worry. She's right here. She never left."

Then, I burst into tears and Nigel took my hand.
"Everything will be alright." He said.
