Chris's Pov:
Something strange is wrong with Sonic. For the last month,he's been waking up in the middle of the night in cold sweat. I remembered the first night it happened. I heard him scream and I ran outside of my room to see what was wrong. I had asked him what happened, but he won't tell. Now,I'm sitting in my dinning room with Sonic and the gang. Ella was serving breakfast right now,the Mr. Tanaka helping her. I eyes went from my food to Sonic,who sat across from me. He was staring at his plate,as if he was thinking about something. Tails noticed as well and put a hand on his blue friend. Sonic turn to face him but then looked away.

I've never seen Sonic like this before. Maybe I have,but it must've been a long time since he's acted like this. He then stood up from his chair and walked away. It grew silent and no one spoke until Tails got up too and raced after him. Ella looked at me."What's wrong with Sonic? He's not hungry again?"she asked. I sighed. For the last month,Sonic hadn't been eating that much either. Sometimes he would eat,but only a little. Other times he wouldn't eat at all and would run off to somewhere.

I was really worried cause he wouldn't even tell me or the others what's wrong, but maybe Tails can get him to talk. Amy stood up with a serious face. "Well,I'm going to fine out what's wrong with him!" she said and started to walk away. "Um,Amy? I don't think that's a good idea. Besides,Tails is with him. He'll get Sonic to talk"I said. She looked at me before nodding and she sat down again."Do not worry. I'm sure everything is fine and Sonic will be his self in no time"said Mr. Tanaka. We all nodded and continued to eat. I hope so.

Tails's Pov:
I ran out of Chris's house and into the backyard. I looked around for Sonic. Something was bothering him for the last month but he won't say what it is. I heard something moving above me and saw Sonic in a tree. "Sonic!"I called out. He didn't look at me. I started to move my tails like a helicopter and flew up to him. I landed on the branch he was on and faced him."Sonic? Are you okay?"I asked. He stared at me and when he did,I saw emotions I thought I'd never see in his eyes ever again. I saw pain,sadness, and emptiness.

The last time I saw Sonic like this was when....wait,did he.... remembered them?! "Sonic? What's wrong?"I asked. He continued looked at me."Did you.... remember?"I asked. His ears flattened. He did remembered them. It's been so long.....that me and Sonic don't even talk about them. The others don't know about them of course expect for Knuckles but I guess Sonic forgot to tell them."I'm so sorry, Sonic. Truth be told....I miss them too"I said,looking down. He continued to look at me before embracing me in a hug. I hugged back."Do you....do you think they're still alive?"he asked.

I stayed quiet before speaking. "I'm sure they're alive Sonic"I said. I hoped they were. If they weren't.....it would destroyed our hearts. I can't lose my family. Not again. We soon let go and we smiled at each other. We soon heard people talking in Chris's house and we walked inside. Everyone was in the living room and the News was on Tv. It showed that the city was being destroyed by Dr. Eggman. "Eggman is destroying the city! They say he's located another chaos emerald!"said Chris's grandfather.

I looked at Sonic. A saw anger in his eyes. But,this anger was different than all the others times. This one contained hatred. "Sonic?"I asked. He look at me,the anger blazing in his eyes as his hands turned into fists before he looked back at the Tv. "Let's go and teach that guy a lesson he'll never forget!"he said through his teeth. I nodded slowly,still confused why Sonic was acting this way. He soon ran out of the house. I went to the garage to get on the X Tornado. Amy followed too. Chris got in his grandfather's car with his grandfather and Cream and Cheese."Knuckles will meet us there!"said Chris's grandfather. I nodded and started the engine and flew off after Sonic with the others behind us.

Soon enough,we saw Eggman on his hovercraft. I saw something run around really fast. It wasn't Sonic. Which means....Shadow was here too. I then saw Rouge flying around too."Find it! Find that blasted chaos emerald!" shouted Eggman."Not so fast, Egghead!"shouted Sonic. The two glared at each other before Eggman ordered Shadow to stop searching and to attack Sonic. The two hedgehogs started punching and kicking at each other. Meanwhile,Chris,Creamy, Cheese and Amy we're getting the towns people out of the area. Knuckles soon appeared and helped me destroy some of Eggman's robots. I heard something fall behind me and I turned around to see Sonic injured badly on the ground. "Sonic!!"I yelled.

Sonic's Pov:
I was on the ground,badly hurt with Shadow standing in front of me,smirking. Right when he was about to hit me once again,he was knocked off his feet by someone. I looked at who had helped me. To my surprise,it was another hedgehog. He turned to face me. He had dark green eyes and was a lighter ocean blue color then me. He had head fluff and wore shoe like mine expect his were white with one red stripe on them. Oh my God. I couldn't believe it! Was it really him."B-Blaze?!"I managed to choke out. His eyes widen."S-Sonic?!"he said.

We kept staring at each other before we embraced each other in a hug."Sonic!! I can't it's really you!!! We thought we'd never see you again!!"he said."Wait,we?" What do you mean "we"?"I asked. He smiled and two figures jumped down from behind him. I stared at them. One of the hedgehog was a boy and was a light green color. He had brown eyes and had his quills spiked up. He wore a red vest and a black bad around his waist with red shoes that were white at the tips. He wore black bracelets with spikes on them on his wrists too. The another was maganta hedgehog with light pink quills and head fluff with blue eyes. She wore purple gloves, boots and skirt. She also wore a red tank top with a golden belt around her waist.

I remembered them instantly too."Sonia? Manic?"I said. They smiled."We're not the only ones, bro"Manic said and stepped aside. A yellow hedgehog with blue eyes around the age of Tails come out. She wore a red and black dress with matching boots. She also had her head fluff. She was holding hands with a little hedgie who looked younger than Cream. He was black hedgehog with blue eyes with light blue socks. I smiled."Star! Junaid!"I beamed. "What? I don't get any love?"a female voice called out. I turned to see a grey girl wolf with yellow eyes,a purple shirt with a dark red vest and shorts ripped at the edges and dark brown boots."Yumza! It's you!"I said and smiled at her and she returned the smile.

I heard Tails call out and he ran towards my siblings with open arms with Knuckles right behind him. The first person he hugged was Star. She smiled as she cried tears."Tails! I missed you!!"she cried."Never thought we'd see you again,Knuckle-head"Manic and Blaze said  at the same time. Knuckles rolled his eyes at them but a smile appeared on his face. They stayed in the position for a while until our little reunion was interpreted by a beam nearly hitting us. We turned to see it came from Eggman."So,Egghead still hasn't given up yet?"asked Blaze. I nodded. He smiled and slammed his fist into his hand, meaning he was ready to fight. I looked at Tails and then at Star and Junaid. "Tails! Get Star and Junaid out of here now!"I yelled. He nodded and took Star by the hand and ran towards the X Tornado. Star was carrying Junaid in her arms.

The rest of my brothers and sister stayed with me and the others. Amy soon joined us."Take out the bots!! Leave Shadow to me!"I shouted. They all nodded. Blaze ran around really fast and smashed some bots. I forgot we shared the same powers. Sonia touched a necklace she was wearing and a laser gun appeared and she started to blast some bots. Manic did the same expect a pair of drums appeared. Wait,what?! He started playing and the ground shook. Shadow charged at me again,punching me in the stomach. I grunted in pain as I fell to the ground. He was about to hit me again when a force-field appeared around me and it sent him flew backwards. He stared at it before glaring at me.

Where'd this come from? I saw Eggman shooting beams at my siblings and I growled. The shield disappeared and I attacked Shadow. I punched him again and again and he kicked me. I fell again to the ground,unable to stand up. Right when he was about to attack,a cloaked figure jumped in front me. Shadow lunged at the person but they teleported away in time,taking them with me. I stared at them but all I could see were sapphire blue eyes. The person then ran away towards the battle field. Who was that?

Shadow's Pov:
I don't know who that person was but because of them,I wasn't able to attack Sonic. Rouge came next to me."What's wrong? Did you lose him?"she asked. I glared at her before looking around. I noticed that there were other hedgehogs too and a wolf. But I didn't recognized them. I spotted the cloaked figure and ran towards them. I lunged myself at them and pinned them to the ground with me sitting on their stomach. I yanked the cloak they were wearing off,only to see a female hedgehog. She was a light baby blue. The lightest shade I've ever seen. She wore a light blue shirt and navy blue jeans. She also wore a blue vest and black boots. She also had a handband with a crystal snowflake on it.

One of her bangs was on her right eye. And her eyes....they were sapphire blue eyes,like Maria's eyes. I stared at her for a few seconds before she looked over my shoulder,grabbed my shoulders and flipped me over. She was now sitting on my stomach. I looked to left to see a beam. That's why she flipped me over. She wanted me to get out of the way in time. I turned my gaze back at her and her sapphire blue eyes stared in my dark red eyes. I soon saw a spark flash in her eyes and then she gasped, which made me wonder why but I didn't show it. Soon,I heard a familiar voice. One that flirted with me alot and annoyed me to death. Rouge.

"Shadow! Are you---hey,get off him!"she shouted once she noticed the girl on me. The girl turned to face her and when she did,Rouge's eyes widen."L-Laura? Is it really you?"she asked. Laura? She instantly got off me and stepped away. Rouge moved towards her but she moved away. I noticed a beam coming towards Rouge. "Rouge! Look out!"the girl shouted and ran towards her. Before the beam could hit her,the girl pushed Rouge out of the way and the beam ended up hitting her. "Laura!!"I heard someone yelled. I turned around to see Sonic standing there, horror written all over his face.

She collpased to the ground, holding her side in pain as she started to bleed. I stared at her while Rouge quickly ran to her side. I looked back back at Sonic to see him charging towards us. Using my speed,I zoomed over to him and punched him in the face. He fell to the ground. I heard the Doctor calling my name and Rouge's. I looked back at Rouge who was helplessly trying to wake the girl up. I sighed in annoyance and made my way towards them. I moved Rouge aside and picked the girl up in my arms. She instantly buried her face into my chest fur. I stared at her with a blank expression before I started to walk."Let's go. The Doctor is waiting for us"I said,blankly. Rouge flew ahead but only to stop me."Are you insane?! We can't let Eggman see her!"she said. I raised a brow."And why not?"I asked."Because if he sees her, he'll do horrible things to her! You can't let Eggman see her!"she snapped.

I continued to stare at her,not really caring. What was so wrong that made Rouge not want me to show the Doctor this girl? "Shadow, you'd better agreed with or I'll---"she continued to yell at me but I payed no attention to her. I knew I'd had to say "yes" otherwise we'd still be here arguing and the Doctor would be very unpleased. And she won't leave me again until I'd agree. I sighed in annoyance once more before I looked at her. "Alright fine. I won't let the Doctor see her. But you have to keep an eye on her!"I snapped at her."Oh-no, we'll both keep an eye on her! You're gonna help me!"she snapped back. I growled. "Fine!"I growled at her before walking off. Just great. Not only was I supposed to keep this girl a secret from the Doctor,but now I also had to help Rouge babysit her. Ugh,how I really hate that bat.
