Sonic's Pov:
I was walking down a hallway. The walls were a creamy peach color and the floors were covered in red carpet. There were paintings on the walls as well. I feel like I remember this hallway,but where? I soon heard music and people laughing. Where was I? I'm not so sure,but I'm about to find out. I kept walking until I entered a huge ballroom,one that I remembered. I looked around. I saw people dancing and having fun. But,they weren't regular people,like my human friend Chris,they were Mobians...like me. I kept looking around,as if I was trying to look for someone or something to tell me or give my a hint of where I was.

Soon,my eyes landed on two adult hedgehogs that were sitting on thrones at the end of the ballroom. They were dressed in Royal outfits and both were wearing crowns. That gave me a hint that they were the king and queen and that I was in their castle. But,I felt something else,like this wasn't just their castle. I soon heard laughter again,but this time it was different. It was the laughter of kids. I turned around to see an old light blue hedgehog standing behind me. He had a grey mustache and grey eyebrows. He had blue eyes and wore a black formal jacket with dress shoes. I remembered him instantly."Uncle Chuck?"I called out,but he didn't turn to look at me. He was too busy playing and laughing with the four little hedgehogs that were grabbing and tugging on his suit.

A smile appeared on my face but it then faded away when I got a close look at one of the little hedgehogs. He was the same Ocean blue color as me and had the same shade of green as my eyes. That's when I realized,it was me! But a younger version. Younger me had a little crown on his head and was wearing some sort of red cape? Younger me was also about seven to eight years old and so were the other three little hedgies. I took a close look at three. Two of them were boys and the other one was a girl. One of the boys looked just like me. His fur was a lighter ocean blue than mine and his eyes were a darker shade of green. He also had quills on his head. Humans call them "bangs" but we Mobians call it "head fluff". He wasn't wearing anything but a small crown on his head and a red cape as well.

I then looked at the other boy. He was a light green hedgehog with brown eyes and had his quills spike up. He also had a little crown on his head and also wore a red cape. I looked at the girl. She was a dark maganta hedgehog with light pink quills and head fluff and had blue eyes. She wore a little tiara and a little pink dress. I smiled but then frowned. I felt like someone was missing....but who? I noticed that younger me turned around and looked toward the direction of the king and queen. "Hey,Laura! Come on and join us,lil' sis!"he yelled as he waved his hand at someone. Laura? I've heard that name before. I turned my gaze towards the king and queen and noticed that someone was hiding behind the king. I squinted my eyes to get a better look. Soon,a little hedgie's head popped out from behind the king's throne. It was a girl.

She was a baby blue hedgehog. The lightest baby blue I've ever seen. She had beautiful sapphire blue eyes and she had one of her bangs over her right eye. She had a tiny tiara on her head and was wearing a white dress.

She looked shy and nervous as she stared up at the king. He smiled at her."Go on,sweetheart. Have some fun with your siblings"he said kindly at her and she smiled slightly before she slowly made her way to younger me and the other four hedgies. I noticed that she stumbled a little as she walked and I noticed that the queen was holding a baby in her hands. That's when it hit me. This place....this was my old home! The little hedgehogs and that baby... they were my brothers and sisters! The king and queen...they were my parents! Everything started to spin as the music started to fade away and so did the laughter. My siblings and my parents were gone too.

The only ones left where me and little Laura....my little sister. I looked down at her as she looked up at me. I had forgotten how small she was. I think she was the youngest out of me and my other three siblings? She stared at me with innocent eyes."Sonic? Are you okay?"she asked. I smiled at her and bent down to her height. Right when I was about to say something, darkness soon surrounded us. Laura shrieked as we heard screams and heard cries. They sounded familiar. But why? I looked down at Laura to see the ground under her had frosted. "Laura?"I said as a reached out for her,but she backed away."S-Stay away from me!"she yelled.

What? Why? I reached out for her again but this time she ran away,ice and darkness following after her. I ran after her. She stumbled and tripped as she ran,but why though? That's when I remembered,Laura was born crippled, meaning she couldn't walk right or run right. I also remembered that she was the last one born after me and my other three siblings. We were quints. I was starting to remember their names. The one that looked like me,he's name Blaze. The green one was called Manic. And the other girl was called Sonia. And the baby was called Star. Me and Blaze the oldest out of us four,Manic was the second oldest with Sonia being five minutes younger and Laura.....Laura was a hour younger than all of us. Star was seven years younger than us. Soon,the darkness and ice swallowed Laura and she disappeared."Laura!!"I yelled. Soon,the darkness surrounded me.

I woke up,yelling and sweating and breathing heavily. Chris soon came running to my side with a worried look on his face."Sonic, are you okay?!"he asked. I nodded,trying to calm down. I remembered my family,my home. I thought I had forgotten about all of that. But that last part. Why was darkness and ice running after Laura? Why wouldn't she let me touch her? Why was it just us two there together? I don't know what to do or what to say,but one thing was for sure. I missed them. Where are they now?
