Tuesday 7:02am Robert's penthouse

I deliberately open my eyes with the lurid shriek of my alarm knowing that this was the last week before winter break. I am so relieved because I really don't want to see Maddison's face to any further extent. Oh that reminds me I have the science project with her. I will just see it to myself.

I get out of bed and wash my face. What should I wear today? I take out a gray top with black words saying Cali girls, black jeans and turquoise converse. Yeah this will do! But, what should I do with my hair? A ponytail? Nah, I am not that type of girl. A bun? Maybe, but no I need to look a little more stylish. So I decided to give some wavy curls to my light gray hair. I enhance some foundation and powder in my face while later I add some black mascara and a very soft brown matte lipstick. Well I guess I am ready!

I walk out of my room with my black backpack on my shoulder. "Good morning, sunshine! Did you sleep well last night?" Robert queries while tying his blue navy tie around his neck. "Yes, brother I indeed did. Will Gustavo and Leticia come tonight for dinner as you requested?" He gave a nod in response. "And I will really like for you to be home early because we have to speak about several things that have been going on, ok?" I nod back with a smile.

My phone suddenly buzzes. I can be sure that is A trying to bug me like always. Doesn't she or he have a life?

I wanted to know if  you were better from what happened last night. I know that George is a jerk. He should know better than anyone that you did it for the own good of everyone. And btw I was thinking you and me should go to the beach today with some of my new friends. And maybe you can bring some of yours. They seem lovely specially James. Well see you at school! "Are you ok love?" Robert questions worryingly. I nod slowly trying to get out of the shock of the message. Who does she think she is to be texting me in that particular way? I need to clear things out with her. She has to understand that we are not besties or friends anymore. She ruined my life and Sabrina's life. I know I hurt Sabrina also, but at least I was sorry for it. A message pop out in the screen of my phone.

I see there's problems on paradise. You know that although you explain to her that she is the thing that you most despise she will do ANYTHING to win your trust back. Oh and talking about trust, wow James really trusts you. To have all the courage to tell you about his dead brother is really having balls, but you never know if the secret accidently spreads out. I am just saying just be careful. You can lose his trust in less than a day. Oh well see you in school. Oh and btw your brother is so hot! How bad it would be if everybody knew what he did 2 years ago. Do me a favor and ask him. Maybe from this you will know who the real Robert is.

"Well, sure you are ok. Um I will head out to work. Have a nice day at school and please always behave yourself with everyone. Anything you need just call. I love you!" he gave me a peck in my temple and walk out.

9:30am Mrs. Clarkson's class

"Ronaldo Devoid was a very recognized writer in the 1800's that wrote many classics such as Holly and The Adventures of a Little Boy..." Mrs. Clarkson kept on going with the lesson, but I just couldn't attend her for some reason. What did Robert do? He is the nicest guy in this entire world. Maybe A is just playing around like she or he always does. I want to talk to him about it, but I can't put A in the conversation because if I do someone will end hurt. Suddenly a voice interrupts my thoughts, "Ariana, hey! Is something wrong?", it was Maddie. You have to be kidding me? "It's none of your bloody business," I blurt out. She apparently respects my space and sits on her desk. I continue to think that A can be Maddison. She is trying to be nice but it's probably just an act.

A note is slipped in my lap. I open it and it says: "You don't deserve those cuts! I do! -Maddie" How does she knows about my cuts. My heart starts pounding hard. I pull her arm and interrogate her, "Who told you about that? No one knows about that except my really close friends and I wouldn't call you a friend if I can clarify. Now tell me who told you?" Her eyes widened, but she relaxes her muscles and gives me a cozy smile. "Ariana, you shouldn't be mortified of that, but you certainly need help. You know I am here for you and it was James who told me. He knows you and me are or were very close and he was actually happy that I was back to be with you," she answers warmly.

No! Wait he doesn't know that's the person who created the monster that I was. I have to talk to him, but what if I skip classes today with Maddison and then I will clarify everything? She won't bother me ever again! If she knows what happened after she left, she will feel guilty and she will leave me alone. Perfect plan! "Maddie, you told me you wanted to spend time with me right?" She nods quickly. "Well let's head out to the mall!" I pull her up and we head out outside.

"Are you sure this is you? I thought you disliked me. Plus, you never were ok when we ditched class before," Maddie is certainly confused. "Maddie, shut up and let's get out of here."

My phone buzzed and I glance at it:

Ditching class with the devil? Ha! Have fun, but not too much...
