I stood there in shock looking at the note. I read the note a few more times and the more I read the note, the more my stomach was dropping.

"Sam, what do we do?" Questioned Joseph. "I-I have no idea, I don't even know what to think!" I said very nervously.

"Sam, we have to do something! It said in the note that if we don't find out who is doing this, he is gonna kill us all!" Screamed Danielle.

"So, you are assuming it's a man Danielle?" Questioned Joseph.

"No! I mean. I don't know Joseph. What makes you think it's a girl who is doing this?" Questioned Danielle.

"I never said it was. I am just saying that if you think it's a guy, you need to make sure your facts are right before you start assuming things." Yelled Joseph.

The room went silent for a second. "Guys stop fighting it's not gonna solve anything right now." Said Kenzie.

"She's right, we need to stop arguing right now so we can figure this out." I said confidently.

Everyone looked at me as if I was in the spotlight. "I think we need to look around the house and find anything we can to protect ourselves." Joseph said.

"Why so you can kill us?" Daniele said sarcastically.

"Danielle, shut your damn mouth! At least if you die it will be more quieter!" Joseph yelled at Danielle.

"GUYS! Why don't you both shut your traps ok? Arguing is getting us nowhere! Let's go upstairs and find anything we can to solve this." I screamed.

Everybody shut their mouths just like I told them to as if I was the mom of the group. We all walked upstairs to the main bedroom. When we got up there, the door was red, rusty, and it looked like it has been here for decades.

We all walked in and it was very musty, rundown, and dirty. "This is your room Joseph? I thought your room would be more plush." Kenzie said.

"Hey, I said I lived here. I never said it was gonna be clean." Said Joseph.

We all looked around trying to find anything we can to solve who killed Jeff. I walked passed a closet door and I saw something hanging out of the bottom of it.

I pull out a piece of paper and it's a picture of 2 elderly people. It looks like the picture was taken in the late 1800s.

"Joey, who are these people?" I questioned.  "Oh them? Oh, that was the picture of the recent owners of this house. They died about 20 years ago." Joseph said.

"How did they die?" Kenzie asked concernedly. "They uh-they we're hanged in this house." Joseph said quietly.

Everyone looked at Joseph as if he knew what was going on here.

"Joey why did you invite us here?" Questioned Danielle.

"Well I-" Joseph hesitated to say. As Joseph was finishing his sentence, the lights went off in the room. All we hear is something fall to the floor.

"Guys, turn on the lights stop playing it isn't funny!" I said very nervously.

The lights turn back on and all we see is Danielle's body lying on the floor in a pool of blood.

"Oh my god!" Screamed Chase. We looked at Danielle's lifeless body and it look like her throat was slit open.

"Guys, the wall!" Screamed Josephine.

We all looked at the wall and wrote in blood it says "When you think your safe. Think again!"

We all stared at the wall as if it was hypnotizing  us. "Guys, we need to go." Kenzie said sternly.

We all walked back downstairs and sat down in the dining room wishing that all that has happened wasn't real.

"Why do you think the killer wanted Danielle?" I asked.

"I don't know but we need to figure this out before they take all of us." Chase said with a stern look in his eye.

"What do we do now?" Questioned Kenzie.
