For privacy I will be changing the names

When I was 11 I started babysitting the kids in my family while their parents were away. It was usually from 7 am to 3 or 4 pm. I mostly babysat these two little girls. The oldest was 6 and the youngest was 2 or 3. We will call the oldest Jackie and the youngest Ally. Ally was always the first one up, she would run out of her room that she shared with her sister. The house was extremely creepy when it was quiet so I put on cartoons. On this particular morning I turned on Spongebob and went to the kitchen to make her some breakfast. I was in the middle of cutting fruit when Ally came running in the kitchen yelling that Jackie was jumping on the table. Looking at her absolutely confused, I glanced at the table to obviously see no one. I pushed it off as her active imagination considering she is younger. I told her that Jackie was sleeping, even brought her to her room and showed her. She was insisting that she was jumping on the table. Over and over Ally kept telling me that she was jumping on the table. Getting annoyed I tried to take her mind off of it. After a while I guess she forgot about it. Then around 9 o'clock Ally started whining and saying there was a monster jumping on the fireplace. Now you would think I would push it aside and deem it as her being a kid but I had a Bad feeling about it. She was scared and I could tell. I shakily got up and walked to the fireplace. I looked at Ally and i could see the fear, "Tell it to leave." So I took a deep breathe and basically told the "monster" that it need t go away. That it was not wanted and it needed to leave. Ally told me after a few minutes that it was gone. Years later Ally was around 6 and I asked her if she remembers it. To this day she tells me that the monster was there. I learned 3 months ago that if you tell a evil spirit that it must leave etc etc, that it should leave. I wonder if that's what it was.
