Faking It
Spencer's POV, present time_
I can't really tell yet why my friends hate me. Maybe it's because I'm tall. Can't girls with the most friends be tall? Sometimes I talk to my "friends" around Alexandra so she doesn't think I'm lonely...

Yesterday_
As I stepped onto the bus, a rush of warm air hit my face. It's refreshing.
"Name please?" A short old woman with gray cut hair a little longer than Alexandra's, and big silver glasses, insisted. "Spencer
Patenés" I said loud and proud.
She nodded, and I made my way down to my friends Jessi, Veronica, and Autumn.
Jessi and Veronica were murmuring to each other and Autumn sat across from them, seeming to be waiting for my arrival.
"Hey," Autumn said not even making eye contact with me, she just looked outside the window. "Why can't you sit with your sister?" Jessi suddenly snapped at me.
"I already told you, I hate my sister!" She was silent for a while, then said quieter than I expected, "We hate you."
"But why?"
"Spencer," Veronica cut in "We never asked you to hang out with us."
"Why do you even let me by you then?"
"Because you know we like to make fun of your sister. She's an idiot, and is always paranoid because she cuts her hair until she's nearly bald. We like you because of your amazing English accent. Oh, here comes Alex now." Autumn said the words as if she didn't care I was there.
The more and more she said the words stung.. But I accepted each one of them, only because we are friends. Veronica is the nicest of the 3. She doesn't say much.
"Lets start "gossiping" about her." Veronica moved her index and middle fingers up and down to show she was being sarcastic. "Alright" I shrugged. Alexandra is right outside.
Toning my voice down a bit, I said, "I saw Alex by our shed yesterday. She took my most prized possession-" "What was it?" Said Jessi with a starting grin. "I- I'm not allowed to tell anyone, but Alex found it." "You can tell us. We're your friends!" Autumn insisted.
I ignored her as Alexandra sat a few seats from me. I said in a normal voice, "She took it out of my Grandma's bin so, then, I asked Alex, "What are you doing?" And she looked at me like she hadn't ever heard my voice before."
They started laughing because Alexandra was starting to cry, but I only let out a faint chuckle because it was true. The rest of the way home I felt victorious..
Victorious for finally learning how to fake it.
Faking to get revenge on Alexandra.
