A/N: I plan on focusing on updating this story. Once I finish writing the last few chapters of Child of a Snake. Through I might just continue working on it along with Child of a Snake and The Hatchling. Since Child of a Snake not too far away from being completed.

Sasuke quickly leaves off to who knows where. With Sakura walking off trying to find him. Naruto follows Sakura trying to eat lunch with her alone. I follow Naruto trying to make sure he doesn't make a move on her before me. Eventually, I find him, only to see him get rejected by Sakura.

'Now is my chance.'

"Hey, Sakura, wanna eat lunch together? I mean we are teammates now. So why don't we get to know each other," I said with a slight blush on my face.

She looked at me pondering my request.

"Sure.."

I silently thank the heavens for her agreeing.

"...As friends," She finished.

'Friends?'

My heart then shatters into nonexistent pieces.

I put on a blank expression and walk up to her as nothing devastating happened. I mean, I didn't just get friend-zoned or anything by my crush.

"Wait!" She sharply turned on her heel to glare at me I flinched. "You're not talking to me so you could get closer to Sasuke are you?" She proclaimed.

"What? No! I don't like him you can have him," I said painfully.

"Oh well, then who fo you like?" She asked with a beautiful smile on her face.

'You. You're the one I like.' I thought as I looked into her bright emerald eyes which shined like a bright jewel.

"N-no one. I- mean, I spread way too much time studying to focus on love," I lied but somewhat said the truth.

"Oh. What do you study," she asked looking at me with those beautiful eyes.

I smile, I'm studying my clan's special ability. So I can learn how to use it properly," I simply explained. "What about you. Are you studying anything?" I asked.

She sheepishly smiles, "N-no, but I do know all the shinobi rules by heart. I'm also good on my aim," she explained.

I nodded. We continue to ask questions about simple topics as we eat our lunch. Unfortunately, she starts to talk about Sasuke.

"Do you think Sasuke likes me," She asked her eyes shining with hope.

"I-I don't know, he doesn't seem to show much emotion. He might just not have noticed you like him yet. After all, boys are dense on noticing someone likes them at least that what my mom said," I honesty explained.

"Yeah! I just need to make him notice me," She said. "Thank you, Haru!"

I noticed you a long time of go. So why can't you seem to notice me? I wish you were here Kimi to give me advice.

I watch as she sighs dreamily looking off in the distance. I silently continue to eat a salmon sushi roll, but I choke on it as I spotted Sasuke leaning on the tree nearby. He was smirking at Sakura.

I guess he finally noticed her.

My eyes filled up with sadness as my heart plummets. I clench my hand into a fist. 'Why does he need to ruin my chances with Sakura.' I watch in silence and dread as he makes his way over here.

"Your forehead is so big. I just want to kiss it," He said coolly.

And there goes my breaking once again.

Sakura gasps lovingly then turns to face me. I sigh and stand up understanding what she wants.

"I'm going back to class now. I have some reading to continue," I said giving a false smile.

I wave bye to both Sasuke and Sakura giving them time alone. Walking towards the class I eat the kast of my sushi roll.

Waiting in class the rest of the team finally arrived. Tar was hours ago, now we're waiting for our sensei to arrive.

Naruto's been pacing back and front with impatience. Sakura's been stareing at Sasuke with heart-filled eyes. Sasuke's been staring at the wall blankly as he ignores the beautiful girl beside him. I was just sitting here reading

I stopped reading as the door slides open, revealing a man about in his late twenties. He has gravity-defying slicer hair, a navy blue mask covering the majority of his left eye. He's dressed in the usual Jounin outfit.

I watch as an eraser plops down on his head creating a cloud of chalk before falling to the floor.

"HAHAHA, you fell for it," Naruto exclaimed rolling on the floor laughing.

"Sorry sensei, I tried to stop him," Sakura apologized clutching her hands together.

He sighed, "My first impression of you guys is that...you're a bunch of idiots. Meet me at the roof," he said before using the Transportation jutsu.

Getting up from my seat, I stretch popping my back, then walk out of the class following the others. Going through the halls and walking up the set of stairs.

We eventually make it to the roof. I took a random seat on the stairs which are parallel to our sensei.

"Now, why don't you introduce yourselves," he stated quite bored.

"What do you want us to say?" Sakura asked cluelessly.

"You know the usual. Likes, dislikes, hobbies, dreams for the future, stuff like that," he simply explained.

"Why don't go first. I mean you do look suspicious," Naruto said.

I shake my head at his comment.

"Who me?" He pointed to himself. "My name is Kakashi Hatake. I have no intention of telling you my likes or dislikes. Dreams for the future...hobbies? I have lots of hobbies," he said lacking information.

"All he gave us was his name," Sakura stated the obvious.

She sure knows has to state the obvious.

"Now you, the blonde," Kakashi pointed to Naruto.

I watch as he plays with his headband before speaking, "My name is Naruto Uzumaki! My likes are ramen, especially when Iruka treats me Ichiraku's ramen. I dislike the three minutes waiting for the ramen to cook. My dream is to become Hokage and then finally have the whole village acknowledge me! My hobbies? Pranks," he informed with excitement and determination.

To become hokage? That not a bad dream.

"Next you," Kakashi pointed to Sakura.

"My name is Sakura Haruno. My likes are *looks to Sasuke and blush* I mean the person I like is *looks to Sasuke and giggles* My hobbies are *peeks at Sasuke and giggles* My dream is to *looks at Sasuke and squeals*" she said.

And every time she looked at him. I could feel my heartbreak.

"And your dislikes?"

"Naruto!" She screamed.

Is she positive her dislike not being away from Sauske?' I thought annoyed.

"Next the brooding one," he looked at Sasuke.

"My name is Sasuke Uchiha. I don't particularly like anything and I dislike a lot of things. I have no hobbies. This is not a dream, because I will achieve it, my goal is to restore my clan, and to kill...a...certain...someone," he said.

The atmosphere was terse and silent. I could see Naruto shake nervously through the corner of my eye.

"Okay, lastly you," he pointed to me.

I sigh."My name is Haru Kaguya. My likes don't matter to you. My dislikes also don't matter to you. My hobbies are also none of your busy. My dream never thought about that," I said not wanting to share my business with a stranger even if he is my sensei.

"What!? All you told us was your name, dattebayo!" Naruto angrily shouted.

"I don't need to share anything with a stranger," I muttered.

"Okay, you're all very unique. Tomorrow we start our first mission," Kakashi explained way too happy for my liking.

"What is it?" Naruto asked full of curiosity.

"A survival training," He informed.

"What?!"

"But we already did survival training at the academy? What's so different about this?" Sakura asked.

In a second Kakashi burst out laughing like a maniac.

"Hey! That was a normal question, why are you laughing!?" Sakura exclaimed with anger.

"You don't want to know," Kakashi informed as soon as he calmed down.

Impatient as always, Naruto shouts, "Tell us! Come on," The knucklehead urges.

"Out of 28 graduates only 10 passes. So it's a 66.6 chance that you'll fail the test. See now you're all scared," Kakashi informed.

66.6 percent chance of failing. I can't fail, I'll disgrace as one I the last members of my clan if I fail.

"Tomorrow meet at the designated training grounds at 5. Also, don't eat breakfast or else you'll puke," he informed us again before poofing away.

No food? Yeah, don't think I'm going to do that.

I'm the first one to stand up, stretching my body. Eventually, they all stand up as well. Sasuke immediately turns to leave, but Sakura calls after him, making him stop.

"Hey, Sasuke! Do you want to walk me home," She asked full of hope.

Hn, no," He grunted rejecting her.

"Hey Sakura, I walk you home if you want?" Naruto asked, trying to cheer her up.

My love rival.

"No! That was a private conversation," She coldly rejects him.

"Oh," he groaned.

"Hey, Haru you want to walk me home then?" She asked looking at me.

At this, I can feel my heart beating.

"Sure," I said masking my excitement. "See you tomorrow Naruto," I said waving to him.

Walking up to her we leave walking side by side.

I only wish you knew how I felt...
