~Start of Chapter 10~

*1st Flashback*

            "Itachi!" I scream running into his arms, "How did your mission go? Are you okay? What about your team?" I toss questions at him relentlessly. He laughs, "The mission was fine and everyone was okay." "Including you?" I shoot back a retaliation. "Including me, jeez Imouto you're like a worrisome mother." He jokes.

             "I know she'll be the perfect wife one day. So, would you like to go into detail on this mission?" Mikoto walks to us smiling. I pout, "Eww. I'll never be a housewife. I'm going to kick ninja butt!! With Naruto as Hokage of course." They laugh and I pout even more, "Just watch! You'll see!!" I proclaim stomping to my room. 

             When I get there Itachi is sitting on my bed. "I don't wanna talk to you." I tell him, childishly. "Now Ann, Mother and I both know that you'll be the greatest ninja out there, you don't have to convince us." He consoles me. 

"Promise?"

"Promise, cross my heart and hope to eat a Nutella sandwich." I giggle and he pokes my forehead with his pointer and middle finger. I grin rubbing my head once he removes his fingers, "Thanks, Onii-san."

*End of 1st Flashback*

*Start of 2nd Flashback*

             "C'mon Naru-Kun! Come swim with me!!" I beckon my friend towards me before I swim farther out into the lake. I'm laughing as I see Naruto and Sasuke getting into the water and Itachi watching smiling. All of a sudden I'm pulled down into the water, "Ahhh-!!"  I yell as water surrounds me.I'm panicking as I look down to see what's pulling me. All I catch is something murky and black. I calm myself down slightly and bend the water so I could breathe. Then I loosened its grip on me and pull myself out swimming to the surface.

                 I'm almost to the top when I'm hit upside my head making me losefocus and release all bending I've done. Before I black out I see Itachi fighting that thing and Naruto and Sasuke swimming towards me. 

~A while later~

                    I open my eyes to see two hands pumping my chest.  I open my mouth to say something but instead I throw up water.  I sit up coughing. "Are you okay Ann?" Itachi questions. I nod my head then ask, "What was that?" "I don't know, but it knew how to fight and looked human. Do you know anyone who could be hunting you? Any grudges?" I shake my head to his questions. "No, none." I say freaked out.

                  " Are you okay Ann?!" Asks a hyperactive fox. " Yea just a little disoriented, Foxy." I reply. I'm engulfed in a hug. "We're glad you're okay."  Whispers Sasuke. Both kids are hugging me and asking questions, while Itachi thinks to himself, 'Who would hurt Ann?' 

*End of Flashback*
