Prologue
It's a bleak, rainy day. There's no sunshine to be seen at all. Just like it usually is in Beckom Town. A female teen figure wearing a soaked black hoodie, black jeans, black high tops, black school bag, and a black long sleeve shirt is walking in the rain. The girl is looking towards the ground as they walk alone in the sidewalk. The only audible noise is the splattering of the rain and the tapping of the girl's shoes on the pavement.
It's easy to understand that the girl keeps to herself. In fact, most people barely even acknowledge her existence; and those who do, she wishes didn't. The impression of the young teen is that of a loner, for no one has ever taken the time to get to know her for who she is.
The girl wishes she had a friend, just one, but knows it wouldn't end well for her nor the person who became her friend. Those who actually notice her would make their lives a living hell. It would be impossible for her to have a single friend who would be happy to be her friend.
The young teen is not usually referred to by her first name, usually just her last name or a nickname. The girl doesn't mind this, but it does give the impression of not caring about her and having no trust towards her. That kind of impression is hard on a person, no matter who they are.
The strain on this young teen is more than anyone should have to bare at any age, right? Well then why is this teenage girl, only 17, having to? Why is the world making her life harder than that of any other 17 year old in the world?
